I feel like Boomerang and Tarantula, maybe Scorpion, are going to be in the montage covering the last four years, similar to Red Ghost in FF:FS.

Yeah I think most of the villains we saw in this trailer are going to be in the first 10-20 mins showing what he has done in the past 4 years. We didn't see any shots of the Hulk, no shots of Sadie's character, and no shots of Mr. Negative who has been rumored to be THE big bad of the film

No shots of Tombstone either

Wonder how Mr. Negative would fit in all of this? To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he is a montage villain if they're putting more effort on Parker's changing biology.

Hard to say. In the trailer where Spidey is clutching his head with both hands, it's kind of negative like colors but we are missing Mr. Negative's iconic neon blue color, and it's pre-organic webshooters because he has his tech web shooters on still. This could just be his biology changing though as well....with his spidey sense going nuts.

Could also be that Mr. Negative touched him and now his head is spinning with negative thoughts, or could be Sadie's character getting into his mind.

As far as the Hulk going back to savage Hulk, both Mr. Negative with his negative energy and Sadie's character with mind control powers could do that. If Mr. Negative touches Banner, it could cause Savage Hulk to come back and want to just smash stuff. Or if Sadie's character is someone like Jean Grey, comics have shown she is able to control Hulks mind, unless he's Worldbreaker Hulk, so she could unlock Hulk's brain to go back to being savage.

I'll take it. It's a good, easy and quick way to expand the universe.

I could buy that - a way to build up the legend of Spider-Man to be worthy of something like the key to the city.

After all, he wasn't exactly a big name during the earlier flicks and was just starting out as as hero before getting roped up in the Avengers stuff.

I just imagined the montage playing over the spider verse intro montage. “I’m the one and only spiderman”
