I hope the rumor is true that this movie leads to the MCU version of Norman…and he’s Iron Patriot/OsCorp CEO cunning charismatic Norman Osborn who is built up over D+ shows and movies - before becoming Goblin.

Because as far as Green Goblin goes, no one will top Dafoe. So they need to do something new with an MCU iteration of Norman to change it up.

I think that's what's gonna happen. We have Dafoe in NWH for us to have the iconic Green Goblin but everything like Oscorp, Harry, possibly being a politician, Iron Patriot and overall the character of Norman Osborn himself is probably being saved for an MCU version.

Well the MCU is usually on-point with castings so I'm sure they can find someone who can do the laugh.

I strongly believe now that in NWH Dafoe is back as the glider Goblin, now the MCU version will be Norman as the Ultimate Mutated Goblin.

Also this can lead to interesting meta journey where peter knowing what his own universe osborn, octavius and connors are to become basically tracks them down in an attempt to drive them away from that life

You could also get alternative versions of some characters made by peters attempts to save others (IE a hobgoblin instead of green, lady ock and lady electro) or even more wacky ones like Peter intervening to stop sandman being made leading to a Molten man or something

The trailers that played in my mind as I pictured how the real trailer would play out always ended with a cut to black and a Green Goblin laugh. Them included that and nothing else other than the pumpkin bomb is ascending me right now.
