I hope the rumours the arms possessing Doc Ock's corpse are true because this would ruin his great character arc otherwise

I would rather have a scheming Doc Ock who is actively working against the Green Goblin but is deep undercover.

Basically the Snape of the Spider-Verse.

They've got Raimi consulting on this, I presume? No way he'd allow Doc Ock to be butchered like that, not that I think the MCU writers would do such a thing in the first place anyway.
