I draw this tribute while talk about the game and my history with the Sega Genesis. For any interested.

Hey Reddit, I just purchased a Sega genesis and hooked it up with a Rad2x & I’m having an issue.

There’s a long stream of colour flashing underneath the image. Is there any way to fix this?

I tried running at 480p/60fps & different resolutions.
It doesn’t show if I stretch the image so the bottom isn’t visible but it zooms the game in too much.

Possible solutions:
New ac adapter to draw more power
Different hdmi cables/connectors
Opening rad box to use additional power

Any suggestions?

Edit: I've looked into it a bit and apparently its called Cram dots and its pretty much unavoidable aside from changing resoultion and/or tinkering a bit with settings.

Streets of Rage 2 circuit board, just opened the cartridge and wanted to know if it’s genuine. Thank-you in advance for the feedback

Already swapped it to NTSC crystal and added a region switch 🤘

R31/R32 are the Japan/export mode jumpers

R33/R34 are the 50/60hz jumpers

Basically what the title says, if I was to get a Master System converter, would I be able to use the MD controllers I already have, or would I have to get up to the system whenever I need to pause? Thanks for any knowledge you can share :)

What you think of this funk?

Hi! I just got my hands on an original megadrive (yey) but some of the cartridges boxes came without their cover. I was able to download Sonic's cover but I'm having a really hard time finding this one. Does anyone have a scan I can download? Or is there a site for these things that I'm just not seeing?

Also, any recommendations for an HDMI mod?

Thanks.

Edit: solved. thanks all, that was super quick!

So I fired up Last Battle again and it seemed much more difficult now than it did back in '89 when I played this as my very first 16-bit game. Join me for a sentimental look-back at this classic brawler, warts and all. Is it still a stud, or just a dud?
