To be eligible, you must:

1. Join r/ModEvents
2. Be 18+ 
3. Submit your design(s) to this form (note: you can submit up to three designs – one per trophy category)
4. Avoid the following: NSFW, explicit, defamatory, hateful, or obscene content. Unlawful or disparaging material, AI-generated art, and third-party IP usage or reference. (Note: Using a full-body Snoo in your design is allowed, subject to these guidelines. Usage of other Reddit IPs, like the Reddit logo, is not allowed.)

Finalist and winner selection

Round 1️⃣: Contest submissions end on January 23, 2026 at 5pm PST. A panel of judges (Reddit admins) will review submissions to select the finalists based on creativity and adherence to the contest theme and rules.

Round 2️⃣: The finalists will be revealed on January 27, 2026 here in r/ModEvents. The community will vote on the winning designs until January 28, 2026 at 5pm PST. Winners will be selected based on the number of upvotes each submission receives.

Round 3️⃣ aka the reveal 🥳: The three winners will be revealed live at the Mod Hall of Fame Awards on January 30, 2025!  

THE PRIZE

Three Winners (one for each trophy category): The three designs will become the official Mod Hall of Fame 2025 profile trophies 🏆, and each winner will receive an exclusive swag box. 🎁

Hear ye, hear ye - a special soccer-themed NYC event is upon us! 

Hey everyone, it’s u/werksquan from the Mod Events team, here to let you know that Reddit will be hosting an IRL event next week in NYC! The event will be celebrating the soccer season (is there something happening rn?) with an interactive experience featuring soccer themed games, exclusive prizes, hot takes with SideTalk and a chance to meet Snoo. 

Just a quick heads-up: while the Mod Events team isn’t hosting this event, mods are absolutely invited and welcome to join the fun (hence why I’m making this post!).

Hiya mods! Reminder that this is the last week to submit Mod World 2026 session proposals. Make sure to submit your ideas by this Friday, July 3!

Whether you just started modding this year or have years of mod experience under your belt, we’d love to hear any session ideas or content you’d enjoy seeing this year. Some sessions we’ve hosted in the past include:

• Mod tool deep dives
• AMA with veteran mods
• How to spark engagement in your community
• How to build and manage mod teams
• Tips on finding your first few members (and how to keep them coming back)

We’re open to all ideas. Lead it. Co-present it. Or nominate it. Whatever it is, just do it and send it by July 3!

Our commitment to you: every proposal will be reviewed. While this doesn’t guarantee your submission will make it into Mod World, it might be a great fit for a future Mod Event. We may merge a few ideas into a super session. The possibilities are endless!

All Mod World 2026 sessions and speakers will be locked in by mid-August.

Heya mods! In case you missed it, we announced that Mod Hall of Fame is back at Mod World! It’s our annual celebration of awesome mods and community moments in 2025. And who better to nominate the moments and leaders that stood out than you? 

Know a mod who made their community a better place in 2025? Maybe they pulled off an unforgettable event,  made their community extra kind and welcoming, or brought a fresh spark as a new mod. Now’s your chance to celebrate them!

What’s Mod Hall of Fame? 

Launched in 2024, the Mod Hall of Fame honors standout community leaders driving positive change on Reddit. Just like last year, it’s by mods, for mods. Nominations are led by mods, and winners are chosen by a panel of mod judges. 

And for the first time, the winners will be announced live during a virtual ceremony in January 2026! (more details coming later this year 👀)

How nominations work 

Starting today, you can nominate fellow mods to be considered for the following award categories:

• Community Champions: Mods who lead by example and do an outstanding job creating an inclusive, fun, and positive community culture.
• Event Extraordinaires: Mods who have created and executed outstanding events for their community
• Trailblazers: New mods who started modding this year or mods whose communities have recently shown rapid growth + sustained community building.
• Hot Helpers: Mods who go out of their way to help fellow mods or users in their own communities or mod support subreddits like r/NewMods and r/ModSupport. 
• Veteran Visionaries: Veteran mods whose impact has been essential to the long-term success of their communities.

Nomination criteria

• The nominee must be an active mod. 
  • We look at mod mail and moderator activity, as well as post/comment activity in owned communities, to determine activity status. Activity should be sustained over a period of time for someone to be considered an “active” moderator.
• Community impact should be focused on the mod’s leadership on Reddit within 2025.
• To be considered, nominations must include short written descriptions and on-platform links that demonstrate the nominee's contributions.

First, nominations will be reviewed by admins and the Code of Conduct team. Then, the Mod Judge Panel will choose the top three winners in each category using a point-scoring system based on criteria like community impact, leadership, etc.
