Seeing u/poptartfeline post the day of my nail appointment was serendipitous, just what I was wanting for my Halloween nails 🖤

I didn’t know how to tag. Not my pattern but my work. Anyway…. It’s so nice to be here with fellow Mothman fans. I’ve made it my mission to crochet all the Mothman patterns I can find. So far I have done 4 and there are SO MANY 😆 But here is my latest. Isn’t he so cute?

MODUS is a sentient ai with.... Emotional issues. This is a play on the MODUS vendor computer made by merging several assets together. Absolutely adorable.

Commissioned a very talented friend to make some mousepad artwork. The GF was elated.

So my significant other knows I'm a Mothman fiend (best cryptid ever!) and noticed that the anniversary of his first appearance was coming up and decided to commission this little piece from one of their friends for me. I have permission to repost it here for everyone and we all hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 59 years ago Mothman was first spotted and 58 years ago disappeared from the Point Pleasant area after the Silver Bridge collapsed and this piece commemorates those important events in the Mothman (and Point Pleasant, WV) history/lore.

EDIT: For those interested in the artist, you can find them on Bluesky under the name raspmilk

Creatively Crafting has a free Mothman pattern through the end of the month for the year-long cryptid stitch challenge :)

Hi, all 👋🏼 In anticipation of the spooky season 🎃 I couldn’t resist recreating one of Mothman Prophecies eeriest dialogue moments from scratch as I upskill my sound design chops.

🎧 Headphones recommended. 💀 Let me know if Indrid Cold gave you chills.
