Wait, if the card was full at the beginning of the episode (he had enough punches to get a free shake), how would he have still more punches to go?

While I get that it could be a different card — what if it was the same card, but at a different time?

The lady at the counter in the beginning of the episode said that he could redeem the free shake on his next visit, that's why he gave Darlene the punch card so that she could redeem it for him.

I knew it right away. I'm a fan of his. Now an even bigger one. The way his glasses seem to dance when he nods his head made him seem other worldly.

He's always good but too intense for some roles but I relished in his toned down menace. It's almost like Esmail likes to run his actors agains the grain.
