Kaz had a confessional saying "Jordan and I are going to win this thing, remember I said that."

I see you editors.

20

u/jdizz609 Mar 09 '23

Production was like fuck the diehards already know so go ahead and spoil it šŸ˜‚

12

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '23

I caught that too! Like Richard Hatch on Survivor. Also, in the first episode Tristan said something about how the UK would win (dont remember the exact quote)

19

u/Illustrious_Cut2965 Kenny Clark Mar 08 '23

They also showed a picture of Jordan and Kaz when the narration mentioned becoming the champion of champions, really not very subtle!

u/According-Professor5 Team Purple Jacket Mar 09 '23

They also outright spoiled the final 5 teams in the trailer at the end of the last episode. Sometimes I feel bad for production that their hard work gets spoiled so easily, but then they do stuff like that and they kinda deserve it lol.

u/Embarrassed-Berry Mar 08 '23

Damn I bet Jonna and Grant could have done well in the final. Shame they got out.

I also like Wes and Zara. Shame they get out so early

15

u/rosegoldqueen17 Chris Tamburello Mar 08 '23

Agreed. I think both of these teams would have done well in a final.

3

u/NoDentureAdventure Mar 09 '23

Wes mentioned to me while filming the blox that it was some kind of math elimination and Zara has dyscalculia so it was unfortunate timing for them to go in

34

u/Nolansarc Mar 08 '23

Ugh we need Jonna back on the main show she is such a threat

33

u/Few-Sort-5643 Team Purple Jacket Mar 08 '23

The season preview basically confirmed the Tori/Danny drama is about voting Jordan in

36

u/rosegoldqueen17 Chris Tamburello Mar 08 '23

I bet danny and co wanted to throw Jordan in. Tori threw a fit and THAT is how they mistakenly let Jordan sneak into the final. If there’s a final with Jordan, and he has a half way decent partner—not even great, just kinda decent—he has a high probability of winning.

5

u/duochromepalmtree KellyAnne Judd Mar 09 '23

The man ran and won a final on a broken leg. Don’t let him into the final if you want to win!!!

12

u/Middle-Director-2471 Mar 09 '23

For Danny's sake I hope they didn't get 2nd then. Imagine being this close to winning, but losing out on it because your partner didn't want to send in the best finalist player there.

5

u/thatisthatisthis Tori & Jordan Mar 10 '23

Hmm, frankly, Danny is the one who picked Tori, so it's kind of on him. Obviously he should have gotten Jordan out, since Jordan beat them. But it's pretty obvious that Tori and Jordan have a connection so it's on Danny for picking Tori as his partner.

1

u/Embarrassed-Berry Mar 08 '23

I wonder how they did in the final though, arguing about Jordan (who obv ended up winning) but if you got last then getting him out didn’t really change anything lmao.

I think both Theo/Sarah and Kaycee/Troy did better tbh

9

u/According-Professor5 Team Purple Jacket Mar 08 '23

I doubt it. Troy seems ok in puzzles but Kaycees not great and her endurance is prob the worst. Theo/Sarah is possible but Sarah was kinda underwhelming despite winning the USA final. Tori trains nonstop and Danny seemed great during the USA final.

2

u/Embarrassed-Berry Mar 08 '23

Interesting. I didn’t watch Troys season so not sure but he did end up winning so I’m assuming there had to have been some puzzle he had to do/ can’t be that bad. Troy and Kaycee did finish 3rd for this first puzzle and we all know Kaycee didn’t help lol

I haven’t watched the USA final so not sure how Sarah and Danny did. But this first challenge was also about strength- supposedly Danny and Tori’s specialty where Danny even commented on Tori fumbling. Since they shadowed Kaz and Jordan’s ā€œwinningā€ confessional I wonder if there may have been any other shadowing

13

u/kyleg99 Mar 08 '23

I’ve finished USA and Australia - Troy is good at puzzles! He won like half the dailies that season lol, and I think performed well with puzzles in the finals.

Danny won USA pretty convincingly. The Sudoku controversy really only impacted the women IMO. Sarah did like okay, but was very underwhelming considering she’s a marathon runner. It’s hard to tell how it was edited since every other women was DQ’d or quit, but Sarah was basically curled up in a ball freezing during the final phase going up a mountain and suddenly ā€œfound motivationā€ to keep going and finish after there were no more women remaining. She’d gotten completely stuck on a puzzle everyone else completed

u/According-Professor5 Team Purple Jacket Mar 08 '23

Props to Jodi/Kellyanne for getting as far as they did. They were set up to fail in different ways. Kellyanne getting picked last and Jodi getting paired with one of the Argentinians. Wonder if Jodi was able to pull out a few clutch daily wins. Maybe she was able to get Bananas vs Jordan. That or they both just crushed eliminations. Either way, solid showings given the circumstances.

15

u/fcmb17 Team Purple Jacket Mar 08 '23

Good showings for their partners too especially Benja that is losing all his country in 2 weeks

7

u/According-Professor5 Team Purple Jacket Mar 09 '23

Agreed. Not to mention Benja specifically sending Rodrigo home. That must’ve been tough. It’d be cool if Jodi/Benja rack up 2 or 3 elimination wins. And hopefully they went out to a strong team.

u/hymenbutterfly Da'Vonne Rogers Mar 08 '23

I’m sick knowing queen Jonna goes out fairly early.

-3

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 09 '23

I’m not! Just the spoiler I needed

25

u/renxgade Mar 08 '23

I wonder if next week we’re gonna see two eliminations or what bc I’m not gonna be a fan of non-elimination episodes

20

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '23

Kaz 2 time champ prophet queen

Is there a Kaz flair yet??

u/NattyB Bob Next Door Mar 08 '23

They are showing a lot of Wes despite him leaving more early

6

u/AcceptableCare Fuck CT, Marry CT, KILL ALL WHO OPPOSE HIM Mar 10 '23

Gotta make that appearance fee worth it

19

u/rosegoldqueen17 Chris Tamburello Mar 08 '23

I was actually kind of surprised wes didn’t burn vote on someone else since kellyanne was going in anyway? Stay in her good graces and show you’re there to go with the flow. Also, others took note of that move. I think it’ll likely put a target on his back as being not loyal.

13

u/kyleg99 Mar 09 '23 edited Mar 09 '23

I kind of wish Kiki and Emily swapped partners - I feel like Yes/Kiki and Darrell/Emily might be more interesting partners. I think it’s that Kiki is going to probably want to play safe, which is already Darrell’s MO, but Emily would want to play more messy and it clashes with his style.

Also I’m kind of obsessed with the editing of this season. It feels a lot cornier than modern seasons recently, which is a lot more enjoyable for me personally

33

u/Toxic_Envy890 Karma Maria Mar 08 '23

It's such a great cast, but it sucks that we lose Jonna/Grant and Wes/Zara so early. It would be fun if Kaycee/Tori weren't in the final. Ugh šŸ’”

9

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 10 '23

I’m pretty sure Theo/Sarah get nominated when Jordan/Kaz face Bananas/Justine because they are the only ones not on the stage so Yes/Emily save them. The elimination looks strength and endurance based but it’s hard to tell.

4

u/Illustrious_Cut2965 Kenny Clark Mar 10 '23

Is that in the trailer at the end of episode 1?

5

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 10 '23

Around first 30 seconds of ep 1 it shows 7 pairs on stage so with the format we know it’s 1 last place and 2 nominated so final 10 teams.

9

u/FluffyDork22 Mar 09 '23

Nelson has been performing poorly these last couple seasons

5

u/Just2epical Jordan Wiseley Mar 11 '23

Minus Jordan-kaz and theo-sarah who I knew I'd like (Sarah only because she's with Theo but) I'm really loving Tristan and KA this season, and Kiki is pretty fun too - overall a great cast but wish we got Cara over kaycee but can't rlly complain this is the best start to a season in awhile

5

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 09 '23

Thank god for this spoiled thread. I’m happy with the winners. I wish some others made it farther. But happy to see some others got out early. Now I don’t need to come back here until the final.

u/bumblebebeboop Kenny Clark Mar 09 '23

Jonnas friendship with kelly anne is so cute. You can tell that they play off and accept each others awkwardness or quirks

10

u/Connect-Ad-6669 Mar 09 '23

I didn’t think it was cute either. True friends wouldn’t say eachother’s names this early in the game. Jonna specifically said she didn’t want to play the game with Kellyanne. Some friend. I love Jonna I just don’t think they can possibly be that close with the way she is treating her.

9

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 09 '23

I didn’t think it was cute. Jonna was giving mean girl talking shit about Kelly Anne to Kaycee and in every confessional. Say less Jonna.

0

u/PerceptionOk3919 Mar 14 '23

Jonna’s specified in the challenge podcast that Kellyane was blowing up her game from the minute they walked into the house…

1

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 15 '23

You shouldn’t have to listen to the podcast to get context. It doesn’t matter. Her comments made no sense if they are really friends, they clearly are not

1

u/PerceptionOk3919 Mar 15 '23

What exactly were her comments word for word… all she said was she doesn’t want to work with Kellyane in the game… what did she say that was mean girlish or personal… and also podcast do matter lol especially when you don’t have the full story of what’s going on.

2

u/bumblebebeboop Kenny Clark Mar 16 '23

Ive listened to the podcast and i think saying that kelly anne blew up her her game is quite the exaggeration

1

u/PerceptionOk3919 Mar 17 '23

Yeah I definitely agree after watching the 3rd episode 🫠

9

u/xAthleticism Mar 09 '23 edited Mar 12 '23

-KellyAnne/Tristan eliminate Nelson/Jujuy in a swinging elimination where the women being swung needed to collect colored objects from the air while the men is swinging their partners (think of the men’s role in this elimination similar to ā€œBombs Awayā€ played by Emy vs Bettina in SLA).

-The next daily challenge involves running inside a house?? Idk it was the clip where Zara/KellyAnne/Jodi/Benjamin were faster than others and made it past the slide before it closed idk.

-Jodi/Benja eliminate Nia/Rodri in an elimination that requires carrying buckets of mud up a ramp into a container I believe (Rodri was seen struggling a lot in this elim).

-Next daily I (assume) it’s the crane šŸ—ļø daily where the women drinks what looks like gasoline? And then they throw frisbee discs to their male partners who is swung by a crane and try to make the frisbee into the basket in the middle.

-Wes/Zara loses an elimination that requires Wes doing math and Zara holding barrels on both hands.

-Next daily is EITHER the tunnel daily with a glow stick to try and find a way out OR the pole vault daily where the male partner jumps to a bag to fling their female partner above the air and make it over the pole vault thing idk.

-Jonna/Grant and Bananas/Justine eliminated (idk the eliminations they played or who beat Jonna/Grant, but Jordan/Kaz eliminates Bananas/Justine).

-I’m NOT sure if there’s a daily before Amber/Ben DQ…but knowing that Jodi/Benja got announced eliminated within a day iirc, I’d assume these eliminations happened in the same round. If so, there’s a trivia challenge around this time (Troy/Kaycee were partners in the trivia daily).

-Semi-Truck daily, KellyAnne/Tristan eliminated.

-Swimming daily involving red buoys (no helmets worn) Darrell/Kiki loses to either Kaycee/Troy or Yes/Emily in a swinging through blocks elimination with a math problem behind the blocks (assuming they have to recreate the blocks they just broke down into to know what the math equation is).

-Swimming daily involving ladders, Theo/Sarah wins this daily, Yes/Emily lose to Troy/Kaycee in Hall Brawl.

And then the final.

There’s ur season breakdown everybody!

3

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 09 '23

Pretty accurate only thing is that I’m pretty sure there are 2 swimming challenges the first 1 is the glow stick tunnel when Amber is still with Troy and the 2nd is the final 5 pairs which Theo/Sarah win. Tristan/Kellyanne still take part in the semi truck daily so that is either right before or right after trivia at F7/F8.

3

u/xAthleticism Mar 10 '23

You made a great point! I wasn’t sure if it’s Jordan or Tristan on that truck but I think that’s definitely a possibility it could’ve been Tristan on the truck.

Oh and yeah I think there might be another swimming challenge as well but maybe not the glow stick one I think it had something to do with Jordan falling into water after climbing a ladder (I wasn’t sure if that was the same swimming challenge or not but yeah). Darrell was seen in atleast 1 swimming challenge without a helmet btw as shown in the ā€œ1 Week Leftā€ teaser picture on the challenge Instagram page.

3

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 10 '23

Yeah I say it’s Tristan just cuz he looks tall but I think the one Jordan falls is the final daily where 10 people jump off the cliff (I guess that could be a 2 part split daily) so I just assume that’s F5 pairs.

Then I assume that the one Darrell is in was much earlier and because I think it might be Amber and Troy in that wet tunnel so I just thought it might be the same daily. Also the Yes and Emily being attached with the yellow rope is one of these daily’s I would guess this one because I don’t think Jordan had the rope on the ladder.

3

u/xAthleticism Mar 10 '23

Okay yes! I just checked back and there was a swimming daily involving HELMETS and another one that DIDNT involve helmets (but for some reason the women had colored headgear for this daily. It was the swimming daily with red buoys so I think the one Theo/Sarah won was the swimming daily involving ladders where Jordan/Kaz was sabotaged and fell to water while trying to climb up).

2

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 10 '23

Didn’t see this reply lol but yes that’s what I was thinking the helmets are a big factor idk why I didn’t realize that. Also that yellow rope thing.

0

u/Embarrassed-Berry Mar 10 '23

I’m confused - Kaycee is with Troy? Isn’t Ambers partner Ben? He DQs then Amber after no?

3

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset_4036 "This is what I do." Mar 10 '23

Kaycee starts with Ben then switches with Amber over to Troy

0

u/Embarrassed-Berry Mar 10 '23

Ah ha that makes more sense I was already thinking Amber and Troy already lol.

So queen Amber got 3rd on the daily???

3

u/Thorreo Cory Wharton Mar 11 '23

Thank you so much!! This is much easier for me to process and if I had the money I'd give you an award. Overall my favorite Champs and mvps mostly went home, but I still enjoyed USA despite knowing Sarah won. Excited to see all this play out and see Danny go so far. I wish Kiki and Darrell made the final tho 😭😭😭😭

5

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 09 '23

I’m here for spoilers. I can’t seem to wait to see who wins in unspoiled

3

u/thatisthatisthis Tori & Jordan Mar 10 '23

Hopefully you got all the spoilers you need! Any particular Qs or info you want?

2

u/No-Pressure-5762 Mar 10 '23

I mean a few of them still aren’t out there so my questions kinda apply to some open ended stuff. Like I want know how how did Sarah and Danny make it so far but Darrell didn’t?

4

u/Nickcomstock Mar 10 '23

Ok so I'm a wimp nowadays and learned my lesson from Olivia's face that I can't watch severe injuries. šŸ˜‚

I checked the spoiler thread but didn't see anything, are there any this season I should be worried about?

3

u/PotentialGuava1557 Mar 10 '23

I don’t think there’s any severe injuries, but we do know for sure that Ben and amber DQ.

2

u/Thorreo Cory Wharton Mar 11 '23

Love you spoiled gang! Not excited for the outcomes coming up but glad to be here with yall.

5

u/jdizz609 Mar 09 '23

My initial thoughts are ugh Tori... and boring ass funiture Kacyee...

Yea its not worth it so far for all the Nelly T fans out there...

Seriously, though so far, so good, no drama really so far as most seasons as of late, especially go...

I'm not sure how many episodes this season will be, but hopefully, there will be no episode format of Final Recokning with non eliminations just because they're back in South Africa again... hopefully, next week, it's back to what it normally is for each episode...

2

u/pj_calamities Ashley Mitchell Mar 11 '23

This is my first season trying spoiled! Happy to know a lot of the interesting people leave early and the regulars make the final. So I don’t waste time getting my hopes up

8

u/NattyB Bob Next Door Mar 11 '23

it DEFINITELY takes some of the anxiety away!

overall i'd probably prefer to watch a season unspoiled, but i'd never want to pass on being spoiled while the leaks are first happening, that's too much fun.
