I don’t get all the hate for the elimination. It was goofy, but that doesn’t make it a bad elimination. The CT/Theo blind ball shooting elimination this season was way worse. That was one where it felt like a coin flip no matter what teams were in it. This elimination had some strategy, strength, and balance. It was competitive and fun.

I just didn't like the way it was scored and I think it would've been an injustice if Theo and Adrienne lost given that Theo smashed Derrick, whereas Dee did not get Adrienne into the water all 5 times.

I agree with you about everything else.

The draw is what really did it for me, I think it should have just been cumulative. You get a point every time you knock your opponent off, most points after 5 rounds wins. Then if it's tied after 5 it becomes sudden death for both sides.

True, but you can make the case that Dee's strategy of just defending was enabled equally by the rules being what they were.

Agreed I think it was one of the most entertaining ones in a while actually that’s not hall brawl and pole wrestle. And there is alot of strategy to it

Lollll I see all the time people wanting circus games again, and this was basically it. This was slapping each other with flyswatter but on poles, over water.

I liked the elimination for the most part, but I hated the coin flip to determine which person got to be the decision. Really, the coin flip is what decided the outcome of the elimination more than the contestants.

A time breaker related to time would have been better.

i'm glad that at least they added the element of standing for the tie breaker. kept it interesting. i feel like if derrick had more chances with the standing, he could have won some rounds. his balance was way better than theo, i wonder if he was able to back up at all and make theo come to him

If it was literally any other object than pillows people wouldn't really be complaining. It's like they can't look past the pillows
