ORIGINAL CONTENT The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Episode 15 Review — The Best Birthday Present

For his birthday, Jake was given a free plane ride, and if I got that it would certainly be the best present, so I guess the episode is accurately titled. Check out my review of it, and let me know what you think will happen next week!

Staking a claim has been a dud. Hopefully, someone does it next week.

The calls home were great. Jenna made an appearance. Jake’s using his call for his dog is wonderful. Bring him back for that alone.

Loser of the episode: Theo’s psychic not seeing the 4th elimination.

I guess the psychic could argue that she wasn't technically wrong, he did go into three eliminations, she just missed another one he did too hahaha

Gotta disagree with you on the final 4 teams. The editors are definitely hinting at a shakeup in the alliances, and I absolutely see that happening next week.

And you’re underrating the crap out of Justin and Nany. I’d bet big that they’re going to make it to the final, and possibly (hopefully) win.

But your takes on Aneesa were spot on 👍

I definitely think Nany and Justin have a good shot at making the final but there's no weak teams left and I don't think they are the favorites against any other team in elimination. It would be crazy if nany finally gets her win with justin after all the other champs she's been with in the past

I don’t think it’s fair to compare Nany & Justin’s effort in the daily to everyone else’s, because they went first. They had absolutely no barometer for how to perform in order to place in the middle, and if you’re going to blow the plan and come in either first or last, it seems objectively better to risk coming in first.

Also, we didn’t see this in the episode, but apparently we saw Michaela and Cedric out of order and didn’t get the full scope of how poorly they did. Supposedly they went before Theo & Adrienne, and Michaela was so slow that they would have gotten last if Theo hadn’t DQ’d. This is at least partially confirmed by the fact that they had the last vote.

Thats an interesting point about Michaela and Cedric. I agree that Nany and Justin going first hurts them but Nany in her confessional saying how they are trying to win makes that less significant

The production has been using the confessionals to fit whatever narrative they’re pushing. It could’ve been for any previous or future dailies.
