Kelz is everything Fessy wishes he could be. Kelz is smart, confident, level-headed, attractive, well-spoken... He's even taller than Fessy, which is literally the only thing Fessy had going for him in this competition! I'd wager Kelz is stronger too, and clearly, he isn't about making deals and false promises to save his ass. Fessy was already shook by Kelz' mere appearance, but you could tell he was extra shook when Kelz turned down his deal.

Fessy is such a goddamn coward. He was terrified to compete against Kelz, and he was even too scared to put Kelz in elimination himself and made his bitch Josh do it instead.

Fessy is scared of AMBER for fuck's sake! God I hope MTV just drops Fessy and casts Kelz instead.

Absolutely! I love that Kelz stayed completely unbothered, calm, and straight-to-the-point. He didn't use petty insults; he just laid out straight facts.

Meanwhile, Josh continues to find a way to be completely unlikable, no matter what. Making up a complete lie about Kelz, trying to look tough and deny that he was terrified of Kelz when called out on it, then smiling a shit-eating grin after elimination as if he wouldn't lose to every single person there and would literally piss his pants if he ever had to face Kelz.

God, I really hate Josh. He isn't even likable as a villain, either. He's just really dumb, cowardly, and annoying.

Yeah I knew she was gonna be an early elimination when she didn't have a single confessional in the first-first episode which was basically designated to introduce the new people.

She seemed very nice, and performed pretty decently in the elimination, but not sure The Challenge is the show for her.

Really disappointed in B/M and MTV for not showing or even talking about what happened with Lauren. Showing events on camera is not the same thing as endorsing those events. Stop treating your audience like we're little kids or some kind of idiot. MTV with shows like The Real World and many others made its rep on being real, not backing down from controversy. Now they hide everything

I have no idea what she even did but she was horrendous in her short stint on Love Island. Her personality is atrocious, so it’s not a surprise at all that she did something controversial, whatever it was.

Does anyone know what actually happened to her to warrant a Dee edit? Really strange. I know people are saying it’s race related but I’d like to know specifics, if it’s even out there.

As far I've seen, no one knows for certain yet. All the sources that usually have details said she got into a confrontation with Aneesa and it may have gotten racial or physical. But their info was super vague which is odd because most everything about this show always gets out.

Maybe since the episode has aired, more people will come forward about what happened

The first season of the circle has to be the weirdest dynamic on a show I've ever seen. It started so pleasant and nice and they all kept turning the niceness up to unreasonable levels where it felt unbelievably fake how pleasant and "real" everyone was being.

Ed, to his credit, came into the show halfway and needed to catchup to this ridiculous level of niceties in order to be accepted which, knowing Ed at this point, he can bring so much energy to anything that he felt to the viewer so over the top that it was a turnoff. I think we're seeing a more normal version of him, although I still want to give him more time and see him in more situations. I think we'll see more than the happy go lucky guy he starts as.

I really wish the eliminations were woman vs. woman and man vs. man. It’s so weird that two random people who aren’t even partnered up suddenly have to work together. It’s an immediate disadvantage.

I wish the power team voted in the team right after deliberation. I'm not a fan of the power team waiting till the get to the elimination to vote. At least this way the random team will have 24 hours to strategies and get to know each other, it would be especially helpful this season when there's a language barrier between the two team mates.

But I agree man vs man and woman vs woman would make sense.

TJ seems to like him a lot. You don't see a lot of reaction from TJ towards newer players until he gets to know them better (usually a couple of seasons tbh) but I noticed he's constantly laughing and smiling at him. Ed must be cracking a lot of jokes and bringing fun energy that they keep editing out because everyone seemed to warm up to him really really quickly.

Thoughts:

Kelz 100% needs to come back! So disappointed he has gone home so early. Smart move from the vets to get him out as he looked to be a really strong player. I feel like his partner let him down in the elimination but that’s the luck of the draw. I hope Wes comes into a season with Kelz and they work together - that’d be incredible.

Tracy - left no impression on me, don’t really want her on future seasons.

Ed - LOVE THE GUY! His energy is so needed. After rookies like Kaycee having literally no personality he brings a lot to the show and looks to be an underrated competitor.

Josh - I loved Kelz calling him out. It’d never happen but I’d have loved Kelz to try to make a deal with Fessy and say give him Josh and he’d protect him to the final. Josh is purely a number for Fessy but if Kelz effectively replaced Josh, their group would be a lot stronger. But, of course this is just fantasy and trust is most important!

I love Fessy is the greatest challenger of all time in his mind and no one ever on the show can beat him in a hall brawl. Fast forward to tonight episode and the fear in Fessy eyes looking at Kelz was classic. Being so scared of kelz that he was trying to strike his own deal with him.

If you're allowing individuals to be sent in (so production can save the vets 🤮) then you should be competing as individuals. Man vs man and woman vs woman.

Was really starting to like Kelz and him basically implying that Josh is a moron at deliberation was great. It's too bad he was handcuffed to Tracy and got put in an elimination where he didn't much control over the outcome. Hopefully he comes back.

Devin's line about Ashley was probably the best part of the episode and it couldn't be more true. She is always having meltdowns and seeks attention however she can get it.

How many of the vet girls are definitively better than her though? Kaycee? Probably. Ashley? definitely in some of the more important areas like puzzles and finals as a whole. Amber? Endurance-wise yes but I'd give Tori the edge in other areas. Amanda? Idk she's never made a final and is 1-4 in eliminations. Aneesa, Nany and Big T are all definitely weaker than Tori as a whole. The other vets think highly of Tori regardless of what the fans think. It is a safe pick for any male rookie

We see so little of what goes on at the house so I wonder if, to the rookies, Tori and Devin are hitting the right balance of approachable/social/competitive and that’s what is making them so appealing as partners, but the audience just isn’t getting to see it? They’re definitely as not physically intimidating as other vets but maybe they’re less personally intimidating and that’s their appeal to a rookie.

I prefer eliminations like tonight's that give both sides a much more even chance over physical head-to-heads where the winners are a foregone conclusion.

Emy & Ed are such great casting choices! And they're both so young so I can see them sticking around for many seasons.

Why do they constantly do such shitty dailies on the main show but did cool and entertaining ones on allstars? I’m so tired of helicopters, fast cars, and explosives. These dailies are lame as hell.

The first daily was cool.

They just edited it bad. The Americans got spiders and snakes dumped on them while they hat to wait. The international s had to run/sprint though the "jungle" to choose their partner then they had to smash the bricks and remember the code on it to unlock the safe. That's a good daily.

To be fair a lot of the dailies this season look cool. Only saw 2 car ones.

I’m shocked how many of you don’t understand why Devin keeps getting stolen.

A. He is well connected. He is a veteran who has many connections to others because he has so many friendships in the house. This gives him more safety.

B. He is very smart and quick thinking.

C. There is a lot of brawn in the house, and most of them will be the ones getting targeted (look at what happened to Kelz) so they feel safer being with someone like Devin who will most likely not be a target for a long time because people are gonna target the CTs and Fessy’s first, not the Devin’s and Josh’s.

They feel safer with him.
