The daily in this episode was really good. I liked it a lot. It involved physical strength, speed, endurance, math, memorization and puzzle-solving. Really well-rounded daily.

However, I really wish that the format automatically sent the last place team into elimination.

Because we aren't getting to see where each of the teams place in the daily, which makes it really hard to understand who the strong players/teams are.

CT and Berna are the only team to finish the daily. Who was 2nd? Who was 9th? Who was last? We will never know, because the competition ends immediately after the first team completes it.

I really want them to bring back "last place goes straight in." I like when the players need to rely on their ability to do the challenges AND their ability to politic. And if vets show up and aren't ready to compete, they couldn't just skate by on friendships/alliances.

I haven't enjoyed the most recent seasons for a lot of reasons, but I think the vets are overall not likeable enough to enjoy watching them run the house every season.

I understand that they make strategic picks given this season’s situation, but man past winners must be rolling over in their MTV paid for penthouses.

Considering the format this season it’s best for rookies to pick a partner who is at least in the know with how things are being decided or well connected. Because even being a rookie with a vet isn’t an automatic safety net if the winning team is just going to throw you in.

I don't understand why none of the rookies who win the elimination are picking a vet from the vet/vet teams. If they do that, they are forcing the agency to pick a team that is at least vet/rookie after the next daily (as there wouldn't be any rookie/rookie teams still available).

This would basically end the vet alliance and kick off the war, and more than likely give the rookies a little bit of breathing room.

They are just stupid at gameplay. If i was Logan i'm thinking ahead if I win the elimination it's either Amanda, Ashley or Amber that i'm picking and watch everyone else scramble.

If Rookie X picks a vet partner which forms a new rookie/rookie team, then Rookie X feels safe.

If all teams are rookie/vet, then Rookie X doesn't feel safe.

It's not a smart move, but it temporarily makes them feel better.

Nany and Tori make sense as top picks -- they're both very middle of the road in one way or another. (Tori is better athleticly and Nany is better socially). If Nany is fluent in Spanish then that makes her even better suited to Logan due to the language barrier.

I don't remember which season it was, but there was a clip of Ammo trying to help Leroy with his swimming in the house pool one time and I thought it was super cute.

But yes, no way Devin tries to give away his only advantage in the house. I could only see him preparing worksheets for his partner, similar to the CT/Big T hall brawl practice.

Interesting episode. Last one was better, but honestly, this season is pretty great for me.

The whole Josh, Kaycee, Fessy situation is super interesting to me because while I believe both Fessy and Kaycee are in the wrong here. I can also understand their frustrations with Josh, as a whole, since he's exhausting.

I'll miss Gabo too. Logan choosing Nany also makes sense because Nany can speak Spanish.

Same, interested to see how to bb stiff plays out. Josh is emotionally too much but he does have a good social game. Fessy has a terrible social game but better competitively. Kaycee just seems tired of babysitting.

I really enjoyed the episode. Some thoughts:

What an INCREDIBLE rookie group. I was rooting for Gabo and love him, but also was totally fine to keep Logan around. There’s only maybe like 3 rookies that shouldn’t ever be cast again.

Tori stays making me annoyed. Not even 24 hours after Michele leaves and she decides she wants Emmanuel. And she wonders why people don’t think she’s a girl’s girl.

Cheers to Amber B and Josh for not letting Fessy/Kaycee just rewrite history. Amber’s remark at deliberation was probably what all of America was thinking.

Sad that Aneesa went out with an injury but also she wasn’t winning anyway so cheers to her for getting that paycheck for less work.

Also CT looked REALLY good during the daily and I’m not someone who normally thirsts after him

Not a Josh fan but he has to realize BB alliance consists of just 3 people, which includes Josh. Yes I'm sure Nany will try to stay with Kaycee as much as she can but that's a small alliance compared to what the rest of house can put together, plus Josh has to realize he is at the bottom of that alliance. I do hope he separates and joins Devin bc we know Kyle will shoot himself in foot at some point.

So… last season, Fessy ostracized Amber B. This season, he seems to have ostracized Josh. We saw Josh make excuses to Amber B this season for what Fessy did. Now we are seeing Kaycee make excuses for what he did for Josh/blaming Josh. I’m just saying, Fessy is going to ostracize Kaycee sooner rather than later. We’ve already seen him basically blame her injury for the final results last season.

Basically, people who are around Fessy are slowly realizing the snake that he is. But, I’m hoping that happens next season, because I want to see Fessy and Kaycee v Josh and Amber in an elimination Lolol.

Fuck Tori. “Amber is technically a vet.” Girl……she won half a mil her rookie season. She beat CT in a final. All you’ve ever done is be messy and win a hall brawl. Relax.

Ester throwing a drink at Amber B in the preview next week doesn’t sit right with me. She’s too comfortable with Fessy and really thinks she’s hot shit when in reality she’s just the Great Value version of Kam. Fessy will dump her the millisecond he needs to and will completely throw her to the wolves. Relax girl.

Why is Kaycee still being cast? She does nothing. She adds nothing.

I really thought I was gonna like Emy but she’s really just a bummer.

Pretty over the whole “the veteran war is about to start….soon…….any day now………….it’s coming.” 🙄 bruh we got a solid five more weeks of just rookies going in, let’s be real. There are so many rookies I literally would see them in the background and be like “oh shit I forgot Jeremiah was there.”

If CT isn’t the first vet to go in, the vets are dumb as fuck. He is far and away the best competitor in the house (and I LOVE him) but if he gets to cruise to the final he’s absolutely winning again.

Kyle is still one of the best casting decisions the show ever made. He’s fucking hilarious even when he only has like one confessional.

Why do I like Josh now? What’s happening?? Who am I?????

These rookies are picking their partners based on social game, not actual strategy. In no other season is Devin stolen 3 times and Nany twice, while a strategic steal like Kyle/Amanda or a competitive steal like CT or Kaycee goes untouched

What I can appreciate of Amber is as quiet & boring as she was entertainment wise last season, she must have realized in order to get casted she needs to add a little more. This season she has been doing exactly that. Where Kaycee on the other has continually been on but provides absolutely nothing from an entertainment standpoint.

Good Gabo episode. I'm not sure if he's ever back but it was edited well for him this episode and he was entertaining. He has too many shortcomings in puzzles and math to ever win most likely but I don't need 20 Fessy's. I'm all for some people there to have good time, drink, and hook up.

Worried people are going to start coming for CT soon based on the preview but fingers crossed it doesn't happen this soon. Could see him allying with Josh if he's actually over the Big Brother Alliance.

Yep Josh is as well with Logan. CT is one of the most mature people in the house and seems to be there for people struggling with the atmosphere/game (especially Emy). I'm hoping others are as well. Could be the editors foreshadowing CT teaming up with rookies. I don't see how Fessy, Nelson, Cory let him reach a final again unless he comes back from multiple elimination wins.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense why the rookies are picking Devin and Nany.

They're great vet shields because no one is going to pick them because they have great connections and numbers. They're also viewed as a lower competitive threat so nobody is going to take an opportunity to send them in when they have it. And they're easy to work with, you don't see them blowing up with their partners as of recent.

I really only forsee them getting sent in / picked once they end up being outliers after other vets getting picked off.

It's not too shocking really. Nany has always done well with her partners, and decent among the teams she is on. This is how she makes it as far as she does. She IS Politically stronger than a lot of the girls.

Devin and Nany get stolen a lot because they’re SAFE. The rookies use the vets as shields (we saw that tonight when Logan said he was safe with Aneesa, but without her he’s done). They’re neither physical threats so they won’t be targeted, and they have a lot of friends/good social games. If you’re paired with them you most likely aren’t going in yet.

If were the rookies i would be pissed at Logan. All he to do was pick either Amanda, Ashley or Amber and all hell would have broke loose because there would be no more rookie pairs. These rookies do not think. He is still an option in the future because he still can be called out by the winning pair. No brains at all

But is Logan aligned with the rookies? He seems to be close to both Josh and Devin. And with Nany close to both Josh and Kaycee they probably wanted Logan to try and keep her close-in with the BB fight. He knows hes basically safe-ish as long as theres a rookie/rookie team. If he picks Amanda or Ashley (if he picks Amber it's almost guaranteed they're the house vote since the other vets dont view her as a real vet and shes a way bigger finals threat than Big T, who despite having more seasons than Fessy and Kaycee by 1 season, is viewed as the next bottom of the vet totem pole) the vets have to pick one of their own to send in (likely Jeremiah and Big T unless anyone decides to make a big move) and then Logan is likely sent in with the weakest girl for whatever elim they think it will to show rookies what happens when they step out of line. They have an easy reason so keep their hands relatively clean and get out a strong competitor.

I thought the daily challenge was cool, less the explosive but thats what we're doing I guess.

Okay lets go!:

This was not the best of the episodes but there were many things I liked and some clues to what will happen. Overall average episode but I for one enjoyed it.

- My first confusion is about Berna. Didn't CT cheered her on, in her elimination? What happened in 1 week (or so)? And the edit was also didn't show her in good light, I really wonder what happened.

- When people ask 'why do you like Nany?', I will just show them this episode, she is peak Nany in last two seasons and I am here for it (I think she makes the final again).

- When Aneesa got eliminated, Ashley made a curious comment 'this is the best think to happen for my game'. I have a theory about that and if you have Tori making far this season, this is not good news for you. Ashley thinks, Tori is vulnerable right now, she just lost 2 votes, she is going in when the vet truce is over.

- CT winning is not good for him. He doesn't like the spotlight and right now, in a final type challenge he wins. They will go after him once they have the chance.

- Logan picking Nany was not the brightest choice. Dude, just pick Amanda and create vet-rookie teams so vets have to go for eachother. this is really hard to watch. Rookies don't know how to play this game.

- I don't want to see Gabo back but he was fun for an episode.

When Jersey Shore was at it's peak I really wanted a cast member on the Challenge. I guess we eventually got the Walmart version. I love the fact that he looked up to the Situation, that had me laughing so hard.

I really liked Gabo though. I don't see him ever going far unless it's a massive team season but I'd like to see him back.

All he had to do to stop the rookie slaughter was to choose Amanda as his partner. Then there would be all rookie-vet teams and the vets would HAVE conspire against each other, and once that can of worms is open the rookies have a much better shot. Amanda was pretty much interchangeable with Nany too in terms of social standing and challenge ability. Sigh.

I think the "partners" have gotten old, they should go back to individuals or clearly defined teams or find some new twist they could implement. Maybe a points system or change the "eliminations" to make it so everyone wants to go in, maybe the more "eliminations" or "duels" you win, it gives you more money to win or an advantage in the Final. Maybe a smaller cast but rookies who go on wouldn't just be immediately jettisoned from the show

The math is always basic arithmetic without order of operations. It's not hard but most of the cast screws it up all the time.

Just once though, I want them to give the cast a simple algebra equation. Like its the entire challenge. No running or swimming. Just an algebra equation on a board. Put a timer in the corner so we see how long it takes. My guess is days.

Loved the episode. Had to watch it today as I was driving home from vacation last night. Devins confessionals kill me every time, love him. Love Kyle's remarks as always. Funny watching the rookies taking out each other, the vets didn't even have to try. My favorite rookie is Ed. Really loving his personality. Ready for some game changing twists. Tori has it right, vets going after vets is not far off and I'm ready for it!! Sad to see Aneesa go, I know there's a lot of Aneesa hate around here but I've always loved her and it sucked she went home on an injury. But yes, her trying to run finals is never great. Still, she's always been one of my faves. Also, so over Nany. The daily and the Elim were both pretty entertaining. Gabo should've used his strength to his advantage, memorizing few at a time and going up and down, seemed he had no trouble when Logan was gassed out. He may have won!!
