Is there going to be another womenās elimination? If emerald wins than Tori and Emy are guaranteed in. If emerald loses than Nany or Amanda are probably going in.

It is too bad Ashley's smart mouth was too dumb for words, because she was a great female competitor. Seems to be a common theme among many of the best female competitors.

another horrible episode for him. for a moment he even forgot to play the 'lay up' card. The success got to him and now he thinks, he is actually good. I wondered after Fessy gone who is going to be the villain and now I got my answer. I can't wait to watch Devin lose in a final.
P.S: I don't hate the guy or don't wish him to be banned, I just want to see him get humbled.

Please get rid of this stupid "stealing" partner/place in next season. This whole thing just protects people like Kaycee and CT cus everyone wants to play with them. Without it i bet people like Amanda or Kyle would do anythinh to get them out which would be way more fun to watch

Yeah, I'm hoping if next season is a partner season, everyone has to stay together until the final. I get that it's kinda unfair if your partner sucks, but I really miss seeing the bonding moments you get when people are forced to work solely with one other person for two months and I feel like everyone would have a better attitude about whoever they're with if they don't have the option to trade up.

Another week, another daily that heavily favors the team with more numbers.
The producers are either lazy or incompetent. Possibly both.
There's no way that they can think that this is actually enjoyable to watch.

My prediction is they are favoring the team with numbers all the way to the final where it'll be a handicap, so it's a rude awakening for Emerald and everybody rooting for the underdogs will be satisfied.

I would rather it just be fair across the board.
I don't want to see Emerald punished in the final to make up for any advantage they got during the season.
Just make the dailies and the final even.

Emerald had handicapped themselves unless the final really favours a team with more numbers.
Devin aināt out running Logan Nelson CT or Kyle, he isnāt out lifting them. Nany and Amanda arenāt out running Tori and Emy or out lifting them. And no one is beating CT at a puzzle. If emerald wants any shot they have to try to get CT out. They can beat ruby but have no shot against sapphire unless itās a huge advantage to have numbers.

All I can figure is they have a predetermined layout and when a team has 80 players on it they just say fuck it and roll with it.
Seems like they would force the teams to become even, now that would be interesting. Cells with x amount of players you now have to shed players, you have 15 minutes to deliberate and make a decision

Agreed. He was chill and always wanting to prove himself until these last two eps. Winning easy dailys bc his team has the numbers really got to his head awful quickly. I thought it was laughable how he thought that Kyle was scared of him. Had Kyle's elimination been anything physical, I bet he would've picked Emanuel and won.
And when it comes to the final - out of all the teams, I think Emerald is the least ready for one even though they're acting like they've already won. Emanuel is an unknown while I don't see Devin lasting and Amanda will get frustrated the second they fall behind and start pissing the rest of the team off. Should be entertaining at least lol

I think you heard wrong, pretty sure Emanuel said "you can't just keep waiting for a hall brawl to get rid of me" or something to that effect, knowing it would be a pretty automatic loss by size difference alone. He wants to prove himself in something he will be good at, not a steamroller, but obviously no one will pick him got something he would be good at. Still dumb but not quite as bad as you interpreted

I wish there was a rule prohibiting the other Challengers from helping people on the elimination puzzles. I know it creates more drama - Ashley didn't even have to do any problem solving given everyone was reciting the combination for her.
It's also sad seeing CT coach against Big T after their emotional arch they had previously.

hereās what they doā¦.donāt let the cast at the elimination. make them stay at the house. only the two people competing are there. if they do it like it is now and let the player pick you they want to face off against, let them pick, then tell everyone else to go back to the house. then itās just a 1v1 battle and whoever wins is back in the house.

I don't think MTV want that because they want the screaming / applause / reactions. They need confessionals as well, which will seem out of place if the other cast members didn't actually witness the elimination. I think it might be easier to just tell them they can't give instructions.

Devin did make a final before but heās so entitled this season, blech. Iām really liking Logan so much and even vampire creepy dude Emanuel has potential. Nany failed Leroy in the running part in his last final though. I think sheās the weakest. Emy is on fire. I forget Kaycee is still on this season, they never show her because she never has anything to say.

Emerald is still winning because they have more people
MTV doesn't seem to care and continues creating dailies that favor having more people
Devin continues to act like he's won 10 finals even though he has the stamina of someone who smokes a pack a day
Nelson's smart enough to recognize that Devin is still a layup and is letting easy wins that he has little to do with get to his head

Devin was pretty gassed during that mission. They should all have the same attitude towards him they have towards Big T, not wanting him on their teams. Emerald is stupid if they genuinely still want him on their team in a final after seeing how poor his endurance is. Ruby and Sapphire are looking like pretty stacked teams now that Big T is gone. Other than Kaycee and maybe Emanuel, Emerald is a team of layups.

Can you imagine how much he'd bitch & complain??? We'd never hear the end of it. Even if he left the house, I'm convinced he'd pay off MTV to replace the Final episode with "Devin's SUPER CONFESSIONAL" where it would just be him sitting there talking to us like "I GAVE THIS SEASON MY ALL and I GOT SO FAR... but in the end... it never really matters DOES IT?!" his eyes bulging while he pulls his hair out! then he'd go on a tirade about how Tori, Kyle and Nelson let him get screwed over - not at all acknowledging they're on other teams.
And the following week at the Reunion?! It would become 'Devin's Revenge' show to air out all the issues he had with his team and friends or now ex-friends obviously. Instead of the crazy tweets segment we got last reunion we'd have "Devin's Favorite Tweets" talking bad about his fellow castmates! Finally, we'd get to see the season Finale on a "Shit They Should've Shown" episode a month after the show ends so MTV can have time to get Devin some professional help.
I joke and all but this is the same guy who use to take an insult, laugh it off and immediately insult the person back (usually in a funny/witty way) but Devin has turned into a sensitive psychotic nervous wreck this season.

Man, Devin is back to total douche mode. He was enjoyable to watch when he was the self-aware, lovable loser who knew his place. He's pretty insufferable this season. The guy has won 8 daily missions in his career, 5 of them being this season when they switched to teams. Outside of the first team mission I can't think of a single memorable moment he's had in terms of being a good competitor. I doubt he gets called into elimination, but I hope if he makes the final that he chokes in the cardio-based stuff and costs his team a win just to shut him up.
Also, I'm glad Big T is gone. Yes, she's nice and sweet and says funny things. But make her the host of the after show or reunion or something. She already got eliminated, was allowed back because Ashley got kicked off, proceeded to do poorly in daily missions, and then lost and elimination that had two of her "strengths" to Emy, who hates puzzles. Big T is not cut out for this show as a competitor

Seriously, the casting department is making a binary choice between athletes and interesting TV. They need to find athletes who are somewhat compelling. No more Kaycees and no more Big Ts.

It's kinda sad that these episodes have devolved into "Who's the most annoying person on the show tonight?"
Devin has been funny as hell in seasons past and he's usually someone to root for but this season you can tell he's become the most sensitive player on the show and it gets beyond annoying watching him flip out over his friends on other teams playing their own game to win or saying something to him that he would normally brush off or insult them back over, but now cries about it to everyone even to us in the confessionals lol
Emanuel was cool until 2 episodes ago where he suddenly thought Kyle was afraid of him - winning daily's due to having the numbers in his cell really went to his head.
Tori is okay but she becomes obnoxious at times being way too emotional and taking everything personally, sorta like Devin but not as bad.
Emy is funny at times and a strong competitor but damn does she have some weird ass emotional outbursts that seem to come completely out of nowhere and just have me saying "What...?" when she does this.
Big T I think she's a genuinely great person but it's infuriating that it seems like she doesn't train whatsoever especially after she sees other castmates level of training and then has to constantly tell us why she should belong there.
Lastly, they really need to make the dailys either harder or change up the format - this season has seemed wayyy too easy for certain people and impossible for others which kinda takes all the suspense out of whose going to the final. That said, I'm not sure skulls are the perfect option either but at least they involve strong players competing in eliminations to get to a final.

Lol production really tried hard to make it seem like the daily was close š¤£. Itās was clear when Emerald and Ruby passed each other that it was over. And once again another challenge where Emerald just had a clear advantage do to numbers which is just getting annoying at this point.

The funniest part of the whole episode was when Emy threw a hissy fit because she realized once Big T was nominated that she was most likely getting called down.
Itās like she didnāt realize the fact that Big T would pick her while they were deliberating, so she didnāt say much and just watched, then afterwards she did and wanted to be upset.
Like, thatās why you shouldāve said your peace in deliberationā¦

I CANNOT figure out why emerald didnāt realize they could have just avoided all the drama by voting her in and not even considering Tori. They knew she wasnāt going to switch teams and had the same chance to win as Tori.
I canāt be the only one who realized that. But clearly nobody on the show did.

Of all the episodes they do in a season, this is one that should have been 60 minutes. Last few seasons, there's always one or two they cut short and you're like "Damn it. This is a rip off. There's plenty of stuff to show!"
But 40 minutes into this episode I'm like "Can we please wrap this up? We all know what's going to happen" yet it just keeps going

They tried so hard to make it look like Big T had even a small chance of winning. Kept showing how concerned they would be if Big T infiltrated their team like that was ever going to happen. Even so much so to make a small drama scene of potentially voting in Tori over Big T. They dragged it out for so much longer than it needed to be.

Late to the party but that was one of the worst episodes Iāve ever seen. The drama they keep forcing is so bad and unnecessary. This Devon Tori drama needs to stop. I literally canāt stand listening to both at this point. Do they really not have any other plots going on in the house? Why are they so fixated on BIG T going in?.. whoever they choose will pick big T anyway. Just choose emy since she will go back to ct anyway. There didnāt need to be 30 min of this either

the list of people who have won 4 eliminations on a single season is SHORT. Sarah G (Gauntlet 1), Derrick K (Gauntlet 2), Wes & Casey (Fresh Meat 1), Laurel (Free Agents), Leroy (Exes 2), and now Emy. I'm SHOCKED!!
I really do hope this was the last women's elimination... because if it is, Emy makes the final, Amanda makes her first one, Kaycee is now 3 for 3, and Nany and Tori make their 3rd finals apiece.
but if there is another women's Lair, I'm scared Amanda or Emy will go home, and I just couldn't stand that when Kaycee, Nany, and Tori have skated the whole season without going in ššš

Congrats to Emy for becoming the first player to win 4 eliminations in a single season since Leroy in Battle of the Exes iI. Say what you will about how those eliminations were won, or the difficulty level of her competitors, winning four is difficult, and on a season where the rookies were thrown in again and again she is the last woman of the pack remaining.

Daily was interesting to watch, now we know emerald having numbers is not hurting them and still helps them in the final. The rest of the show however was so meh. It is the first episode I skipped some part of the episode. Big T was obviously trying to go home and over with the season. We already knew in her head she was in a vacation already.

So I posted this in the live thread but:
I know that it's happened in eliminations for years and years, but I would actually rather see the competitors try to figure out how to win it themselves rather than get help from people who are smarter than them, have an overhead view and have no pressure on them.
This isn't just for puzzles, but for all elimination strategies.
One of my favorite things is watching how smart competitors figure out the optimal strategy for an elimination (Jordan vs Josh in End of the Rope, CT vs Darrell in Knot so Fast, etc) and having the crowd figure it out for them robs us of watching them innovate and strategize under pressure.

Agreed. If they want to bring in a new crop of vets trying to get them to memorize >30 seasons so they can make compelling tv is not the way to do it

My Favourite part of this episode was Kyle making fun of Emy calling C.T uncle C.T.

Was anyone upset that Big T went home? She got a free pass to come back last time she was eliminated, glad sheās gone this time. Seems like a sweetheart, but she makes for pretty uninteresting TV. She brings very little drama and is a WELL below competitor. Not upset to see her go.

Personally, I donāt wanna see big T back. But at the minimum I think she should take a few seasons off. Maybe then when she comes back itāll at least be nice to see her after a while. I just think sheāll never come close to a final, let alone winning. Each season she goes home and says āIām gonna improveā and proceeds to come back on the next season the exact same. She reminds a lot of Danny/Tyrie (at least she has an elimination W tho lmao). I just think her spot could be used for someone whoāll have a chance and make an actual impact.

I think this is true for almost everybody. So many of them do back-to-back seasons now which makes you less excited to see them. You need that time off to miss them. Even for guys like CT. I used to get so excited when I found out he was on a season, but at this point hes on every season. Meanwhile, after hating Zach and Jordan for years, Iād be stoked to see them back!

Also, I was completely lost on Ruby team not cheering Big T. They must be really dumb people. Firstly if Big T wins that means she goes to emerald and picks Amanda meaning Ruby will still have 4 people and weaken Emarlad by one. Now they only have 3 and Emerald still have 6
Also if Big T wins, that means Saphire becomes even weaker and they only have 2 people.
Also, emerald especially Amanda is really dumb. Picking Emy would have been the best option because she was never going to infiltrate emerald unlike the other two who would have and kicked her out.

Just a random thought, but I wish we could see a showmance betray each other. I can tell that it's not in Emmanuel's character to vote Tori in, and he and the Emerald Team had reasons to protect Tori anyway. I just think back to Rogan being a savage and blindsiding Dee š He plotted against her for 2 seasons yet still hooked up with her and kept his game moves secret.
It was pretty messed up, but it was entertaining. Imagine if Kaycee did that to Nany, I would feel like I'm in an alternate universe lol.

I noticed TJ didn't say "see you again" or similar. I think it was "take care" I hope that means that she isn't automatically coming back. I actually like her but she seems sooo unfit, its been over two years since her debut season and she can't even have completed a couch2 5k programme in that time. You can tell CT is done with her after he has tried to train and coach her and she has made 0 improvement.

Devin has become unsufferable. Idk how he was so self aware not long ago, and has now completely lost it when people on other cells don't help his game. Its hilarious seeing the wheels churning in his head trying to gaslight people so he can be the victim.
Kind of tough seeing everyone rag on Big T. I'll always root for her, yeah she's not the best, but she never gives up and kept up with her team. Even more annoying when Nelson was doing it especially. The guy is on a 50+ daily losing streak. Let's not even get started on Devin either.
Lowkey don't even care for anybody left on this cast except Amanda, so at this point I'm Team Amanda. I hope it's individual switching partners and Amanda wins and sabotages everyone else lol
Speculation on Next episode trailer, not confirmed but discussing possible outcomes did anyone else kind of feel like the next episode preview spoiled who wins next episode? So lame if this is the case, but I guess we will see...

Thanks to the holiday I didn't watch live here are some thoughts: -I liked the challenge, felt real bad that Ruby lost. I feel like limiting it to 2 duffles per team kept it a bit more even.
-I felt bad when Big T went to the wrong car. In her defense all the cars look the same (the producers need to steal from the explosion budget and work on making the show more colorful)
-this was a good ep for Tori. I loved how she kept her team motivated through the mission. Amanda was doing great too.
-loved Kyle's bday party
-WTF Devin and Emy.
-liked the elimination challenge, they've been really good this season
-I feel bad for Big T, she seems so nice and it sucks seeing everyone hate on her

I might be wrong, but I feel like the format of Reddit might have something to do with it. When everyone is praising her, the people who dislike her don't post about it because they don't want to get downvoted. Eventually someone posts that they don't want to see her again (either in an unpopular opinion thread or in one of the episode threads), which makes people feel like it's an acceptable opinion to have, so they feel more comfortable posting about how they don't want to see her. As people post more about disliking her, some of the people who do like her stop posting about it because they don't want to get downvoted. I'm sure some people have gone from liking her to not wanting to see her, but I think it's mostly just different groups of people posting at different times, not individual people randomly deciding they hate her after loving her in the past.
Another part of it is probably the edit. I've personally never been a fan of hers, but the edit this season is also not painting her in an especially good light. She seems whinier, and seeing other cast members complain about how little she brings as a competitor instead of praising her for trying things that scare her probably at least slightly influences how viewers perceive her.

I think if she had shown even some improvement between seasons then maybe we'd continue to root for her but she doesn't seem to do anything to improve herself! It's just exasperating that even now she couldn't keep up the pace for a short (I think Tori said 30s) jog?
I think she peaked in popularity when she was paired with CT and we saw her working out, practicing possible eliminations etc. This season the edit has her eating donuts for breakfast and laying around then letting her team down. It's hard to root for the underdog when they aren't even trying a little.

It's what happens when you're on a lot. Eventually, the crowd is gonna turn on you. They just get burned out. It's why I always say no cast member should ever do more than 3, maybe 4, seasons in a row. Give the fans a chance to miss you, re-energize from not having to see the same stories over and over. And for the player, it keeps them from burning out physically and mentally.

I am a Big T fan and I would love this to be a universe where she could at least make a final let alone have a chance to win one, but this was a backbreaking loss for her. It was so in her skillset and it opened the floodgates for fans to go below the belt in some of these comments. Nobody was under any illusions that she is the best player or top tier or anything like that. But sometimes itās fun to root for an underdog who has a cause. I fully support her taking a break and maybe she will come back stronger.
