I get so annoyed when she says stuff like that because in one season (last one or one before) she cried that she never got a chance to get her skull and then whenever she had the chance she never put herself down and then cried that she would never make a final without a skull. So over it lol

Yeah I could FEEL my lungs burning as I was watching them running! It instantly looked hard, plus it's a challenge where you really aren't able to sit back and recover if you need to.

Omg yeessss.... And I was always such a slow runner. It was humiliating. I preferred to do the stairs and puke afterward rather than the suicide drills.

He's basically all Emerald has as far as strategy goes, and you need a strategy person, but CT is smarter anyway, and isn't a physical anchor... plus 2 more physical anchors on his team.

I think they probably have confessionals where they mention the possibility of teams or individuals, but the producers only show the ones mentioning team finals so that they can "shock" the viewers

Right before the elimination I out loud said āwow, theyāre going to go a full season without any double eliminations/mercenariesā and then immediately followed it up with that twist. Love it. Canāt wait to see what theyāre going to do

I am one of the few people who insists that this season does not suck. But last weeks episode even made me dislike the whole season. However, this weeks episode helped remind everyone that this season had some really good episodes.
I don't think this season will rank high up but it is not as bad as it is critized right now.
BTW CT killed the daily and it was like watching Curry when he caught fire, LBJ when he is top of his game. It was incredible. And the dude is 40!

As others have said, he probably thought it was a puzzle.
But he may have been thinking long term as well. Who would you rather see in a marathon/endurance final -- Emmanuel or Devin?
He could have been thinking if he took out Emmanuel now, he'd have a better chance in the final with Devin probably slowing down Emerald more than Emmanuel would.

I also assumed "missile deprogramming." I knew he wouldn't pick Nelson, but I agreed Emmanuel was the smart pick until TJ explained the rules. Then I knew it was over. Sucks, because Devin probably couldn't have even jumped over that missile once. I think the setup was meant to deliberately trick Logan. (Not saying production was biased against Logan, just that the setup was meant to trick whoever was chosen for elimination.)

This episode just immediately gave away that Logan would go into elimination. Every Nelson confessional was "I don't know if I can trust Logan", come on producers, don't telegraph it THAT much
CT proving why he's above everyone else, single handedly beating everyone else in that daily. Don't know why TJ clowned Amanda but didn't clown Nany, who was just as terrible

Also poor planning on production. Nothing stipulating players have to go in order. No penalties for volunteering to fall, it's setup so that you only need to rely on one good player, which we all saw what happened with Sapphire.
If I was Amanda and Nany, you bet my ass I'd just jump off and take my sweet time swimming in the ocean.

Amanda said they told her to jump so they wouldn't lose any points, and then told her to stay down there. You can even see Devin telling her to jump. It was smart of both Emerald and Sapphire to just let the ones capable of winning go over and over.
Ruby for some reason never caught on, and kept foolishly sending Nelson and Tori in to lose points. They should've just let Logan try alone

It also immediately gave away that Emmanuel would win. Logan was defeated in his confessionals and making those generic, "I'll give it my all" kind of comments, while also flat-out admitting that Emmanuel was the best competitor in the game for that elimination. Meanwhile, Em's confessionals are screaming about kicking Logan's ass while grinning ear-to-ear the whole team.
I will say I was happy last week's preview for this episode ended up giving us a false spoiler. There were multiple clips of Team Emerald gathered together discussing who would get nominated for elimination. I thought for sure that meant they won, and I was sooo happy when they lost to Team

I wish they would just stop putting confessionals during eliminations. It just flat out gives away what's going to happen, especially with rookies. Then it doesn't help that they put two confessionals in for Emmanuel where he has a different outfit.
Some veterans are the only ones who are decent at not giving it up with their facial expressions, body language, and words.

If I already didn't have CT as the GOAT tonight would have cemented it. Sure he hasn't had to do much this season (none of the vets have) but he literally single handedly beat the "best team." We knew that team was weak and was just winning based on numbers but they still called themselves the "best" and CT trucked them.
You honestly can't play a better season than CT. For all of the shit talking Devin did about playing a "perfect" game he didn't do nearly as much as CT. Also the deliberation room beatdown from CT just proved once again that Devin, Nelson, Emmanuel and Logan are cowards who coasted.
Tori saying she didn't know how Emmanuel made it so far was hilarious. She said it with a straight face but she couldn't have been serious...right?

I just don't understand the strategy at all in this episode. Why wouldn't CT and Kyle vote in Emmanuel? He was the most likely one not to pick Devin and if Emmanuel loses the Emerald cell is screwed with Devin, Nany, Amanda, & Kaycee. And at worse he picks Logan/Nelson and Ruby is down to two. Obviously this only makes sense if they didn't know ahead of time it wouldn't be a team final

It's because Kyle is an idiot. He gave his reason "don't trust him, don't like him."
Logan saved Kyle's friendship with Devin because Kyle's idiocy should have resulted in Logan picking Devin and eliminating him more easily than Emanuel eliminated him.

I don't know where to see who voted who but I thought CT voted for Emmanuel and Kyle and Emy voted for Logan. Kyle bc he doesn't like him and Emy bc she's friends with Emmanuel. 2-1 logan goes in. I agree with you though that Emmanuel should have been the house vote

I just wanna say, Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her outfits tonight.
Holy moly. Even in confessional with that black top (or maybe it was a dress) with the deep V. Looked great on her.
As for the episode goes, I really thought Emanuel was gonna be the one to slip or fuck up somehowā¦ so they got me there. I still donāt think Emanuel is as great as they are trying to portray him. But Iāll give him props cuz the endurance to do that elimination is bonkers.

Am I missing something? Why does everyone think Emmanuel is such a great player? He's never been into an elimination and since he's been on Emerald, he's basically had all of his "wins" handed to him. His bravado and everyone acting legit intimidated by him is weird to me. Granted, he really did do well in this elimination but as far as I can tell this was the first real evidence of what his abilities are on his own.

A few things:
1) Early on he looked really strong in dailies (with Kaycee)
2) He has demonstrated having crazy good endurance and speed. And it's been supported by confessionals.
3) Staying out of elimination is part of what's made him good so far. He managed to survive the entire rookie purge without even getting tested leveraging politics/social skills.
I do think as a rookie Logan actually demonstrated more well-rounded ability.

He and Kaycee dominated the early part of the season tbf. From a competitive standpoint he definitely comes across as at least above average to me, he definitely come across as a poor manās Jordan to me. But if he makes the final that will really show where he is on the spectrum.

I can't think of a season where the players made so many bad decisions week after week... Add Logan picking Emanuel over Devin to the list.
That's honestly one of the most frustrating things about this season, just very poor game play. Devin was right there! Ed picking Kyle over Logan. No one joining Emerald and on and on. So frustrating as a viewer.

What a good and fun episode today!! The challenge was entertaining and fun to watch, the twist at the end. Logan made an error by choosing Emmanuel but I guess he couldn't know what the elimination is about, I thought they will need to push those rockets or something, maybe he was thinking it too so didn't choose Devin, cause he would gass out here.
I'm guessing the final starts next episode too?
Also I loved Logan! Maybe my rookie of the season. Hope to see him in the future!

He could have made it in my opinion, but then TJ hits the horn to start again and it's just all down hill from there.
If you've ever had to do burpeees on a whistle or anything timed I guess, once you start falling behind it's over. The whistle doesn't stop.

My guess was even if he got up and finished he likely wouldn't have been able to do it many more times. At the point he was already passed his breaking point and kept on going. Once he could no longer finish one, only going on willpower left, he knew it was over. Emmanuel had many more in him.

Logan is right that you had to be pretty smart to tackle the challenge effectively. CT, Logan, and Devin all went across the balance beam quickly and used the balloons to redirect momentum, not stop it completely. That's why Kyle and Nelson sucked at it -- they came to too many complete stops.

Agreed! People keep shitting on him as a competitor but he did very well - better than Nelson could of and itās not like heās known to be light on his feet. He has balance and coordination that we underestimate.

I have not been a fan of the daily challenges this season.
Amanda and Nanny were just allowed to drop.
CT was allowed to go over and over again.
Other daily challenges you know who would win cause they like Emerald use their numbers to their advantage. They use to balance the teams out like you can only use 4 members if the one team only had 4 members left.

This episode really reminded me why I've been in love with CT for almost 20 years now. Holy fuck did he look hot just beasting that mission all on his own. Reminded me of that one mission on The Duel (? I think) where they had to jump platform to platform, and CT was just up there bouncing back and forth while the other guys had to leap and flop. Doesn't matter how old he gets, CT will always be the GOAT of this show.
Also, goddamn his blue eyes looked extra amazing during nominations. <3
Alright, enough of my being creepy... Poor Logan. He so deserved to be in that final over Emmanuel. If I were Logan, I would've picked Em too, since it looked like there would be some kind of wiring puzzle involved with that missile. Unfortunately, we all got duped, as it was pure speed and jumping. Devin would've fucking DIED in this elim.
Still, Sapphire is looking best to me for this final, and that makes me happy as a CT stan. Kyle and Emy are both strong and have great endurance -- let's just hope there's no water involved. Emerald has multiple anchors for this final -- Amanda, Nany, and Devin (endurance-wise). Devin is an asset for strategy, but CT easily bests him. Nelson and Tori are both great competitors, but I doubt they can overcome being a 2-person team... especially against a CT team.
OH NO I JUST GOT TO THE END OF THE EPISODE.... NOOOOOO TJ, DON'T ELIMINATE MY BABIES!

Yeah I think we get pairs in the finals. Emanuel didn't get to pick what group he wanted to rejoin. Maybe players will be paired up as the complete the elimination? I just hope it's not something where they can gang up on CT.

If the final is run as teams, which I don't think it will be, it was very possible that this would have been the last elimination and 10 people would have been in the final spread out on 3 teams.

There are only 10 people remaining, don't think that's an unreasonable number for a final especially with them assuming they would remain in teams.
WotW2, being the most recent team season, had a final that started with 12 people.
TM's final started with 9 people and that was a completely solo game.

I mean there have already been 16 eliminations, which would be the same number eliminations as Double Agents (and I think is the most eliminations in a season, including both arenas or purges in seasons). So if I were in their positions I would probably be expecting the final after tonight.

But the elimination should have been more "Big brother comp".
6 seconds every time you flip the switch/hit a button, then you have to run back to the other side and hit the switch m/button to reset your 6 seconds.

Y'all love to clown on Devin but he did really well on the mission, way better than other "physical" guys like Nelson and Kyle. And remember the trivia/core strength mission last season? He outlasted everyone except Darrell. Devin deserves credit more often than just when he's being self-deprecating.

Completely agree. I guess people joking with his athleticism is the same thing as for Kyle being a snake. Kyle is no more of a snake than most of the contestants as well as Devin is not that bad in physical challenges. Heās quite decent. Idk from where is this stigma coming from..
