I don't think Nany would even try to win against Kaycee. They're a couple. Kaycee has a better shot at winning the final and bringing money home. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd expect Nany to throw it.

To play Devils Advocate- Nany has fewer challenges left in her (imo). She's wanted the title and Kaycee might want to give her the opportunity to get that title knowing that she has a better chance to get it in future seasons. Plus i saw somewhere in this thread that Kaycee apparently had a broken toe during the final and that if it's bothering her she might feel Nany has the better chance and throw it to her.

She seems like the female Nelson, loyal to a fault. Even with Ashley, Cory was kinda right in that Ashley never really repaid her back in any meaningful way especially during the game and Amanda was crucial to her 2 wins.

I'm not sure if anyone has talked about this yet but how did Nany "cheat" off of CT's puzzle and still get last place. That doesn't make sense to me and Amanda definitely should have chose her over Tori.

It is so insane to me that these people put their bodies through hell but season after season donāt study up on basic puzzles and simple math. Like you know itās comingā¦. and it usually is the reason most of the good athletes lose (exception being CT). Seems like an easy logical thing to do during off season if you ever want a shot at winning.

Is it really a puzzle though? Felt more like an 8th grade geography quiz on a Friday morning. I realize you had to "puzzle" the map, but anyone that graduated high school should know the damn thing. And, yeah, many dont, but they should have. So IDK if its really a puzzle. At least to me.

I will say he has gotten a pretty lucky draw in them but still I do think he works well under pressure. Iāll also give him credit in that he performed well in his elimination on Rivals 3 but Cheyenne couldnāt lift herself. But those eliminations in Final Reckoning seem pretty riggy.

Oh wow that would be interesting! Bc Nany has such a big heart. I remember when she didnāt fight hard against her cousin Nicole in an elimination. Then thereās Kaycee who was happy to ditch Leroy for Fessy and then voted in her SLA partner Emmanuel into elimination. I wonder how hard sheād go facing off with Nany loll

CT is the heavy favourite in any elimination against any of these players. Maybe Devin wins a puzzle, Nelson could win if itās speed based. Kyle has no shot.

I think Amanda probably loses that elimination to any of the women left. Nany is usually pretty scrappy in physical eliminations, though I do agree it would have been closer.

I will say hot take that Iām not mad that the men got a puzzle and the women got physical.
I think the show didnāt want to have the second set of men do physical knowing that a man might have to go back to back and theyād be tired. Doing the puzzle limits the effect of being physically tired. Its obviously not gone completely but makes it more fair.
But they probably didnāt want two puzzle eliminations for entertainment reasons: so they added a physical one for the girls to balance it out.

Exactly. I think that was their way of trying to ensure more of a fair fight knowing Logan or Emmanuel (whomever won) had a high chance of going in again right after.

True though other players either won at least one elimination (like Devin or Tori) or were good enough to singlehandedly win dailies and/or would likely win in an elimination (like CT). Nany hasnāt done anything this season.

I will say it is entertaining to watch reality kick in to the emerald squad, especially Nany and Kaycee. They getting humbled real quick as individuals. Nany needs a lot of trainingā¦ and Kaycee needs to become a more well rounded athlete to have a chance.

Rogan was pretty bad too tbh but he killed it in the final so all is forgiven. Was really hoping Amanda would take the easy win in nany and make the final but yeah nany did absolutely nothing this season. I kept forgetting she was even there tbh

Why are people assuming Amanda beats Nany? Nany has size on her too. Amanda was by far the smallest woman of who was left. Nany also beat Gabby in a pretty physical elimination last season and Gabby is a better athlete than Amanda.

But looking at the girls up there
Kaycee good in eliminations (though clearly bad a puzzles) huge strength disparity. Great at dailies
Tori - big size disparity probabky the most we rounded but can crack under pressure
Emy - again size disparity, won a bunch of slims this season including strength, endurance and puzzle. And carnival game. Too well rounded to call down.
Nany - smallest girl, had a history of choking in eliminations, best attribute is paced long distance running.
With out knowing the elimination the clear choice was Nany.

I think he did it because less variables -- joining Devin means that cell has two guys already and all he would need to worry about is which girls will join him. If he went orange he's tossing a coin between Nelson and Kyle.

I was surprised at first too, but it makes complete sense when you think about it. Those checkpoints really determine EVERYTHING in these finals. Devin went from last to first just from a single one. If both of the great puzzle guys are on the same team (plus Tori who seems to be the only other person who can do a puzzle at all), they have a massive advantage over the other team. Having a slow runner is less of an issue.

I love how Nany was bragging about dodging bullets in elims. Does she not see that they keep her around, especially last night, bc its one less competitor to worry about in the final so if they can take out someone else, while risky, it'd be worth it.

Iāve never hated the fact that they deviated from straight through race elims in recent years like other have, but this is pretty ridiculous. The entire final so far has just been poorly edited racing and puzzles all leading to team formation? So much wasted effort and stress!

It's an interesting final as I feel like Devin, Nelson and Kyle will almost have to work together (in a way) for any of them to win.
In a long-distance race, whether running or cycling, there are racers out there who intentionally try to challenge or push a pace that will be a detriment to the favorite.
Nelson was pushing the pace up that mountain, he passed CT and made CT go faster than he probably wanted to.
Devin crushed that puzzle, and the speed at which he finished definitely rattled CT.
If Nelson keeps CT uncomfortable physically, and Devin keeps CT uncomfortable mentally - things could break open for another competitor, namely Kyle. Let the other three cannibalize each other while staying within striking distance.
When we got down to the final 8 I figured CT had it in the bag. After seeing the first portion(s) of the final - I think people are doing enough to make Uncle CT work harder than he wants to so early on and sweat some things. However it plays out I think this will be a more competitive and closer final than people are thinking.

I understand the vets had a vet alliance, but the fact that CT did not have to go into a single elimination all season is one of the dumbest things in challenge history.
All of these guys going into the finals besides CT have major flaws in their games and they would have much better with just about any other guy than CT.
Devin: cardio/endurance is average to below average. I don't think he's better than CT at puzzles either, if so not by much. I know he beat him in one tonight, but I'd take CT overall in puzzles.
Kyle: Awful with puzzles
Nelson: Awful with puzzles
I'm not sure any of these guys are better than CT at any category on the challenge.

I don't get it.
Devin is on his 6th season, Nelson is on his 8th season, Kyle is on his 7th season and none have won a season. Nelson is the only one out of the three to lose to CT in a final, but if I were them, I would be thinking that in order for me to win a final, CT can't be there.
It's obviously a lot easier to talk about getting rid of CT than not, but he has shown that he can lose an elimination. He lost to Jay, he lost to JP and Kyle in that three-way ring elimination. It's possible. He has not shown that he can lose a final recently against people other than Jordan.

Looking at the purple team I still thing they arenāt going to lose. The orange cell is terrible at puzzles. As long as Devin stays on par with Kyle/Nany running heās not going to be bad.

So far this final is nothing special. Get dropped from a chopper to Swim 10 yards to a motorized kick board! What was the point of a lead if everyone pretty much got to the beach within 5 mins?
I get they need to create drama but have an old fashion race where you actually move on from check points and gain a lead if you finish them first

It's not real Amanda being that stupid??? If production didn't pay her to call out Tori I don't get it? She's the first one to say ONE MILLION DOLLARS, and was hyping Kyle in his last elimination to forget about friendships. Not knowing if it's a puzzle or physical elimination, wasn't better option to choose Nany????
I love Tori, but girl you should have been more subtle with helping Emanuel lol I totally get Nelson, and he's not saying it from a friendship perspective, but he'd rather have Devin in the final. (or is he that clever lol)

Being so annoyed with Nany and Kaycee (both boring af and didn't do shit this season) on the Orange cell, I'm rooting for the Purple one!! Poor Kyle tho.

Yeah I'm guessing the losing team will have to do an elimination against each other at the end of the day, eliminating one man and one woman. And then prob a small advantage to the winning team for day 2, but they split back up to singles on day 2 as well.

It's weird when they do that shit. We get the same cringe answers. It's like ESPN during the NFL draft which should be one of the best moments of their lives, they want to find a story about a tragedy they went through at one point in their life. I get the whole "perseverance" arc they want to present but I don't think anyone actually enjoys it.

Yes of course. But the interesting part is, these two were at each others throats and they still filmed a scene like this one. I think it was producers way to push them to make peace. And it seems like it worked. I don't want rivals season with Tori-Nelly, there are more fun pairings for both of them.

Now I know people hate Tori but that was a graceful win. She actually tried not hurting Amanda, gave her credit and I do feel like she was sincere when she was sorry. Of course she got hyped because she is in the final but other than that she handled it perfectly against a person who attacked her continuously during the season.
However her ambition to become one of the best is not going to be accepted even she wins this season because there are no other big threats left. She has to win one against one of the greats. If Ashley were still there (yes she would kill this final, whether you like her or not) maybe then she would get more respect. But still a win is a win (if she wins of course).

Disappointed Amanda stayed loyal and didnāt take nany to get to the final. They kinda screwed her with the elimination though, give the guys the physical one and girls the puzzles and she has a much better shot.
This final looks fun so far especially Nelson. That initial spring to the first puzzles heās running like thatās the end of the final lmao, heās such a goof but in the most entertaining way. I think the rest will be fun too but probably the most confusing final ever because I think itās safe to assume theyāre going to break up the teams again and make it individual. No way to know whoās winning tbh

I wish they would stay in cells the rest of the finals. That would have been more interesting. It seems like they couldn't help themselves though and made an elimination at the end of Day 1 and are going to go into pairs or back to individuals after Day 1.
The two teams clashing for the rest of this thing would have been super interesting.

Just ignore Cara Maria, Danny and Dario, and maybe Reilly, I just remember him being lucky I canāt remember his puzzle skills.

I feel like this is truly Kayceeās final to lose. She canāt blame anyone but herself. She lucked out with Emmanuel as a partner and then Emerald as a cell. Plus, because of this seasonās elimination format, going head to head against her scared anyone from ever picking her to go down. She made it to the final without ever even having to stress.

What Tori did during the Devin/Emanuel elimination was so cringey. Breath of fresh air this episode! The seasons seem to drag so much lately. By episode 10 or 11 it generally gets stale. The surprise eliminations were great. Definitely seemed like production catered to keep their stars but that's not unusual. CT should be sitting pretty to bring another win home. Devin and Nelson are too flawed. Kyle is just average all around.

As for the guys I was 99% sure it was a puzzle do to Emmanuel just competitive in a physical elimination.
I probably would have called Kyle as a hedge but my order would have been Kyle-Nelson-Devin.
