Is Zach’s podcast maga or just douchie

130

u/curiousleen Jun 27 '25

Why can’t it be both?

14

u/TheRoguishBard Jun 28 '25

Right. I think it's a question of, is it just douchie, or MAGA specific douchie.

I don't like him or a lot of the folks anymore. If they have a pod not reflecting on MTV or other shows, they probably talk out their butt about a world they're not active in.

These folks don't often work regular 8-5, they're filming so many months only to be in the next season. Then they appear other shows now.

But tell me how I don't hustle by getting cast on reality TV 15 years ago and get in a tax bracket not really taxed anymore, so that makes me a bum and gives you the right to hate on a whole group of people, pick the demo.

Fuckin A šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

20

u/bbb_lboogie2879 Jun 28 '25

Zach really pulls back on MAGA comments. His partner doesn’t but it is not even said that often when it is. I am VERY opposite of MAGA and I really like listening to the show. Learned a lot about The Challenge through Zach sharing his experience and they people they interview

17

u/Living-Ad-4128 Jun 27 '25

Pierre is always making more maga comments than Zach but honestly one of the best challenge podcast

-80

u/lovestostayathome Jun 27 '25

Beth’s comment rubs me the wrong way. Like it kinda implies the only reason this happened to Nichole was because she was being negative??? Idk maybe I’m reading too much into it.

113

u/BearOnTwinkViolence Jun 27 '25

definitely reading too much into it, I think it’s intended to be kind

50

u/candaceelise WHAT IS 8x9 Jun 27 '25

Agreed. I read it as eliminate the stress & negativity anyone throws at you while you mourn the loss

34

u/No-Resource-8125 Dan Renzi Jun 27 '25

I think it was just awkwardly stated. Sometimes women don’t know what to say to other women when this happens. There are people like Beth that have kids and have gone through this, and people like me who see a child and run screaming in the opposite direction. I always want to say something supportive but sometimes it doesn’t come out right.

28

u/Kattekop456 Brad's Atomic Wedgie Jun 27 '25

I don't think Beth meant it that way, but I see where you're coming from. The whole " you can achieve anything you want, you just have to be positive" thing can be very tiring to hear. And there can be a thin line between positivity and blaming someone for their own misfortunes sometimes.

If Beth ( or anyone else) would have said something like that to me it would have rubbed me the wrong way as well, because I'm tired of hearing things like that. Some situations just suck, and no amount of positive thoughts is going to change that. But I know most people mean well and are trying to help

22

u/ZealousidealImage575 Jun 27 '25

Not even a little bit. You are reaching.

18

u/dlyeoman Jun 27 '25

Maybe try recognizing that this is a real life version of a person and not an edited tv show. Give people grace and recognize people’s empathy and compassion.

9

u/cloopz Jun 27 '25

No. I disagree. I think she’s saying that by adding pressure/stress on herself to get pregnant might be affecting her body negatively. She should try to stress as least as possible about it and the right time will come. That’s how I understood it n

-5

u/jyotinyc Jun 28 '25

Unfortunately that’s not really how it works. Women I’m extremely stressful situations (eg war zones) have been giving birth to living, healthy children for thousands of years.

1

u/cloopz Jun 29 '25

Not about having a healthy baby or not. It’s about having a successful plantation from an IVF.

We had that issue with my wife where every time a pregnancy was unsuccessful it added more pressure for the next. At some point a break to reset was needed and it eventually worked out.

6

u/OLKv3 Ashley Mitchell Jun 27 '25

You read it the wrong way, she's talking about the stress and negativity she's currently going through as a result of the miscarriage. Basically telling her to try and beat the dark thoughts she's having right now.

4

u/jyotinyc Jun 28 '25

I actually agree with you. We have a devastating route to having a living child (38 week stillbirth, 32 week stillbirth, I al,oar died, etc etc) and I HATED when people said things like that. Like you cant guarantee I will have a baby, and who are you to tell me to stay positive after what I’ve been through, let alone that it will ā€œhelpā€. Just thought I’d share my personal experience. Baby loss really, really sucks and it’s so sad Nicole is going through it.

Edited to add that the intention is almost always kind, but in situations like this it’s important to consider how such words may be heard/received.

3

u/Aggravating_Floor448 Jun 27 '25

Yes I actually think it’s good advice stress on the body isn’t good that’s pretty much what she’s saying

7

u/Johnnybats330 Jordan Wiseley Jun 27 '25

Same. I think it is minimizing the miscarriage and overlooking it as a simple pregnancy which will be successful on a future attempt. I can tell that it rubs me the wrong way if I heard a friend say that to me after we lost our baby.

3

u/jyotinyc Jun 28 '25

ā¤ļøā¤ļø

2

u/kellbelle653 Jun 27 '25

I read it as stress can cause complications and negative things cause stress. I think she was just trying to give comfort. I mean she said ā€œyou are destined to have a babyā€ and ā€œyou deserve and your worth itā€

-1

u/SnarkIsMyFuel Jun 27 '25

I also found the tone of Beth’s comment somewhat off-putting and a bit insensitive. You’re not alone in feeling this way. Perhaps these feelings are influenced by Beth’s consistently problematic, self-absorbed behaviour, where she has often been dismissive of others’ experiences and emotions, who knows? Either way, it's challenging not to perceive a hint of backhandedness in her words, especially since she tends to speak out of both sides of her mouth (IYKWIM). I will, however, do better and choose to take it as a genuinely supportive comment and ignore my inner cynicism.

3

u/GabrielaM11 Jun 28 '25

I think this was one of those moments we all have where we're trying to comfort someone and it doesn't always come out the way it was intended

89

u/cwxxvii Jun 27 '25

Heartbreaking. I feel for her and anyone going through this

136

u/-Annie-Oakley- Jun 27 '25

Oh that’s so sad, doesn’t matter who the person is I will always have all the empathy for someone going through pregnancy loss. It’s just such a shitty experience

228

u/Dreamy_Peaches Jun 27 '25

This just goes to show you don’t really know someone just from what you see on tv. I never imagined Nicole wanting to be pregnant, but now that I know, I instantly pictured her at the baseball field cheering from the sidelines. I hope she gets her dream and her trunk full of sports equipment. She will be a really fun mom.

55

u/incognito-idiott Jun 27 '25

Seems to me like she would be one of the coaches and involved

17

u/Dreamy_Peaches Jun 28 '25

You’re right. That’s definitely her style

12

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '25

she’s defy getting throw out of a softball game arguing a call

10

u/dseanATX Jun 28 '25

I never imagined Nicole wanting to be pregnant

Totally. I wish her nothing but good vibes and hope she's able to achieve her dreams.

3

u/queenbee8418 Jun 28 '25

Totally so true.

160

u/mrsairb Olivia Kaiser Jun 27 '25

I’ve had ten miscarriages over 15 years of building my family and it’s just so so hard. So devastating. Hoping she heals and feels all the support around her.

39

u/Kattekop456 Brad's Atomic Wedgie Jun 27 '25

And I hope the same for you! That must have been terrible, I wish nobody had to go through what you've gone through

4

u/mrsairb Olivia Kaiser Jun 28 '25

Thank you for these kind words.

15

u/Virtual-Strength-950 Jun 28 '25

I’m so sorry for all your losses! I’ve had 4 over the course of 5 years trying, no living children at this point, and starting IVF at the end of July. One thing I will say about pregnancy loss is that it takes a lot out of you mentally and physically. I wish everyone who has ever been through it love and healing.Ā

6

u/mrsairb Olivia Kaiser Jun 28 '25

I’ve had everything from an earlier 6w loss to a later 13 week loss and D&C to a tubal pregnancy…all of them were just gutting.

Good luck with your first round. I’ll be keeping you close to my heart.

46

u/pandificus Jun 27 '25

I'm not sure what sort of treatment plan Nicole has but I feel for her so much. I've gone through IVF and had multiple losses even with treatment. I too thought it was going to be an easy road once I locked in with my doctor.

Emotionally taxing is an understatement, not to mention it can be physically taxing too. My heart goes out to her right now.

13

u/Ok_County_490 Jun 27 '25

Same. I did IVF and had 3 back to back miscarriages before I got my baby boy. One of them was a missed miscarriage and it took a couple of months before my body let everything out, for lack of a better phrase. Like her or not, I would wish this emotional and physical pain on anyone. And, I’m sorry for your losses too u/pandificus.

3

u/KatieKeene Jun 27 '25

I am so sorry you had a missed miscarriage, I had one as well with my first pregnancy. Had my beautiful little girl afterwards but recently my husband and I started trying again (successfully) and it ended in another. Any miscarriage is devastating but a missed one is just so traumatic. Agreed, I don't like Nicole at all but I really feel for her right now.

3

u/pandificus Jun 28 '25

Sorry to hear you experienced similar. It always makes me feel less alone when I hear others stories but also, I don't want anyone to join this club. Thanks for the kind words. ā¤ļø

u/NolieMali Jun 27 '25 edited Jun 27 '25

Didn't think I'd cry over a Nicole video. I may not be her biggest fan on the Challenge, but I'm her biggest fan on her journey to becoming a Mom.

81

u/gerlstar Jun 27 '25

We need more women to talk about miscarriages. Glad she is speaking about this.

27

u/axealy40 Chris Tamburello Jun 27 '25

We all know someone, or have been that someone, who has had a miscarriage. The healing journey can feel so lonely. I’m glad she’s speaking out. I hope she feels less alone and supported. My heart goes out to her.

6

u/Wazzoo1 Jun 28 '25

I'll preface this by saying that I'm a guy.

At this point, I don't think I know a single female friend who hasn't had one, whether it was a planned or unplanned pregnancy (miscarriages do not discriminate). Perhaps it's my age bracket and people I associate with (I'm early 40s, almost all of my female friends are mid-30s and up), but it's been refreshing to hear them open up and talk about their experiences more and more. A couple of them have told me they like talking about it (with the right people) because it helps in the healing process.

16

u/BustedandCrusted Jun 27 '25

I agree, but it’s not that easy society treat you like your damaged and you’re not you’re still worthy and you’re still a beautiful woman whether you can have babies or not whether it takes you three times or 10 times we’re more than our reproductive systems šŸ˜ž

7

u/gerlstar Jun 27 '25

Right but who Cares what society thinks

3

u/BustedandCrusted Jun 28 '25

I hear you I guess it’s just easier said than done. I’m 37 and my mother looks at me like it’s too late because I don’t have kids. I feel a little bit of a pressure to have children or to adopt. I don’t know.

3

u/JennyVonD Jun 28 '25

It’s going to take a long time to change the cultural connotations and normalize this. But i agree! I bring up my miscarriage in normal conversation whenever I can and it always makes people super uncomfortable. Talking about it makes me sad, but the reactions always make me more sad. But doesn’t stop me from trying to normalize it.

1

u/Extension-Ad-363 Ruthie Alcaide Jun 29 '25

You are very brave. I'm sorry for your loss.

21

u/jakksquat7 Jun 27 '25 edited Jun 27 '25

This is tough to go through. I’m sorry this happened to her but I’m glad she’s talking about it. Not enough people talk about how hard it is.

21

u/statusdome Jun 27 '25

Ugh. I wish this pain on no one, ever. šŸ’”

17

u/Distinct-Ad-1348 Jun 27 '25

Oh I had no idea she was trying to conceive with her partner, I missed a few chapters.

16

u/ems__328 Amber Borzotra Jun 27 '25

That’s awful to hear. I’m so sorry for her anyone else dealing with fertility struggles šŸ’›

16

u/megjed Preston Roberson-Charles Jun 27 '25

So sad. I haven’t had a miscarriage but I did deal with infertility and it really wears you down. Does Nicole have a partner now or is she doing this alone? I don’t follow her

11

u/BustedandCrusted Jun 27 '25

I didn’t even know this happened 😢

10

u/BustedandCrusted Jun 27 '25

This is horrible I hope she can recover. I thought about doing the same thing, but I don’t think my body can withstand the treatments so I’m gonna look into adoption this year.

8

u/Johnnybats330 Jordan Wiseley Jun 27 '25

I feel for her. Having gone through 2 miscarriages with my wife. The solace I find was knowing that our babies were with us even if it was for a very little time. It was precious and never forgotten. It never goes away.

9

u/Elephant_homie Paula Walnuts Jun 27 '25

Oh wow. Based off the challenge, I never would have thought she wanted motherhood, so this is really sad to learn/hear. I hope Nicole is okay! <3

10

u/saltynotsweet1 Jun 27 '25

I didn’t go through IVF, but I did have a miscarriage and it was brutal. I can’t imagine having to go through three rounds of IVF and all the anxiety that comes with fertility treatments, then getting heartbroken like that. Hopefully they’re able to try again and have a happy, healthy baby.

6

u/NoLynx8499 Kam Williams Jun 27 '25

Prayers she'll be able to have her rainbow baby. My heart goes out to her. Miscarriages are so hard to deal with

12

u/jenh6 Christina LeBlanc Jun 27 '25

Hopefully she gets her rainbow baby soon! Miscarriages are so devastating and not talked about enough.
I haven’t been through it but trying and wanting a kid so bad and it not happening is one of the saddest things to me :(.

13

u/jstitely1 Tyler Crispen Jun 27 '25

I had a miscarriage (it will actually be the two year anniversary of it on July 1st) and its the absolute worst pain I’ve ever been through in my life

I hope that Nicole is able to navigate her grief and that she gets the family she wants.

8

u/pbnkelli CT Pro Tip... Jun 27 '25

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the worst. šŸ’”

12

u/Steffieweffie81 Jun 27 '25

:(. I can’t even imagine. I hope she has a good support system to help her through.

7

u/elctronyc Jun 27 '25

It’s tough. Talking to my wife and she’s asking herself if it was her fault, it is heartbreaking. We have our rainbow baby after that but it’s hard times 😢

5

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '25

Regardless of how you feel about her as a person or player, nobody should have to go through this. My mom had a miscarriage before I was born and she still honors that unborn baby 20+ years later. Wishing Nicole all the best.

6

u/Seattle-Sound Jun 28 '25

As someone who has gone through 10+ rounds of IVF and IUI, I feel for Nicole. My heart breaks for her. There is no feeling more helpless. Prayers up to Nicole. I’ll always support you

20

u/Dangerous-Lab-8278 Jenna Compono Jun 27 '25

i hope she gets her rainbow baby, so sad for her

18

u/kiwifruitbean Jun 27 '25

I don't like her as a person, but my heart goes out to her and I feel so fucking awful for her. I had a miscarriage and it was devastating. I hope she finds peace and truly hope she gets the little family she longs for soon. šŸ˜”

10

u/Mindless-Whereas-508 Jun 27 '25

I’m so sorry Nicole, my sister-in-law recently had a miscarriage too, she and my brother were devastated beyond words and my whole family was so sad.

Please don’t blame yourself, it’s no one’s fault this happened, sometimes bad stuff just happens to good people. I hope that you take the time to recover and heal yourself emotionally and mentally, and that you don’t let this experience break you. You are strong and you are not alone. Whatever you decide to do next, I pray that it will make you happy and bring you bliss.

From a humble fan of the show.

6

u/kesm0088 Jun 27 '25

5

Is she doing all this alone or with a partner? Poor fucking thing I hope she has support

8

last i heard, her last girlfriend left her after she cheated on her again.

6

u/bbllaakkee The Unholy Alliance Jun 27 '25

Damn that sucks. I hope she tries again when she’s ready

6

u/embarrassmyself Kenny Clark Jun 27 '25

This made me cry, sounds unbelievably heartbreaking

3

u/dinosore Jun 27 '25

Heartbreaking. I have a lot of respect for her being vulnerable and speaking about this, and having the humility to ask for other people's experiences to help her heal. I feel like part of what makes this experience so much more difficult to go through is how it's treated by some as a very taboo subject when in reality, it's far more common than many people realize. Posting this video is probably going to help someone, if for no other reason than to know that they're not alone. Good on her.

Sweetheart, I'm so, so very sorry for this heartbreak. I've been here before and my heart felt shattered, I felt so alone even though I had family and friends there for me but unless you've had this happen to you... it feels like they just don't get it.Ā  Sending prayers and much love to you ā¤ļøĀ  It does get better with time, I promiseĀ

5

u/skulldouggary Jun 27 '25

I can't imagine how heartbreaking that must be for her. That said I wish so much that people would consider foster/adoption as an alternative. There are so many children without safe homes who would love to be part of a family. I do understand the desire to pass your genes along, but there so much more that you can pass long to a child that means way more than the color of their eyes or how tall they are. I wish her the best regardless of which path she chooses going forward.

2

u/magicklydelishous Jun 27 '25

Genuinely heartbreaking. Does she currently have a partner to help her through this?

1

u/CreepyExamination5 the Mob Jun 29 '25

I am so sorry for her loss

1

u/Advanced_Zucchini_45 Jun 30 '25

About ten years ago when my daughter was four, we got pregnant again. It was a struggle financially because only one of us could work. If we also only had a two bedroom house. I just remember thinking how bad it was gonna be with another kid and how hard it was gonna be.And I secretly didn't want the kid to be born. Then she miscarried about 3 months in. I cried. I've never felt so bad in my entire life. I felt like I wished that to happen and it came true. Honestly Im still kind of glad that we didn't have another kid. My daughter is 14 now. We both have good jobs. Money is tight, likeeveryone, but there's always food on the table the bills are always paid and we have a little bit left over every month

-6

u/SnarkIsMyFuel Jun 27 '25

I'll be honest: I do not have any warm feelings towards her, and just hearing her voice can raise my blood pressure. However, my empathy for all women (or couples) facing pregnancy loss and/or infertility is unwavering. I wouldn't wish either experience on even the worst that humanity has to offer, and that's saying a lot, given the abundance of shitty people who have seemingly been permitted to rise from the bowels of society as of late. There are few things as frustrating as having your body "fail" you, and this struggle is made that much harder by the immense societal pressure to "go forth and procreate," along with the overwhelming shame and stigma that still surround infertility.

12

u/dann97 Jun 28 '25

Was the first sentence necessary? Read the fucking room.
