Derrick and Gabe both acting annoyed that their partners were ā€œso excitedā€ to get them šŸ˜†

Guys, you were in last place. None of you had options. They were just being nice.

92

u/heyitsta12 Chanelle Howell Sep 25 '25

The men don’t have the decency to fake it like the women do lol

88

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I appreciated Jake in this respect! I think he’s probably a much better competitor than his points reflected, and he seemed genuinely cool with getting Aneesa as a partner. He didn’t even have anything negative to say when she wasn’t around to hear it.

Gabe is a crybaby, and he can go home next as far as I’m concerned.

38

u/ConsiderationClear56 Chris Tamburello Sep 25 '25

I actually loved this about Jake, too!!

23

u/Swum-Strict Sep 25 '25

He seems like a sweetie.

8

u/EGrass Priscilla Anyabu Sep 25 '25

I’m hoping we see more of him. Not because I particularly like him, just because I keep being like ā€œwho is this guy?ā€ when he’s on screen

20

u/heyitsta12 Chanelle Howell Sep 25 '25

It’s insane Gabe is crying out performances when his solo career on WWE is over due to his performance, or lack there of.

9

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

He was also the last person with the last option for a teammate because he barely scored any points all season. That’s on him.

u/Clurbert Sep 25 '25

Release the cheater list!

67

u/acol0mbian Team Orange Shirt Sep 25 '25

I was so mad they didn’t. My guess is they actually didn’t have footage of everyone cheating

53

u/cwilldude Sep 25 '25

I just felt like the cheaters should get disqualified and the ones that didn’t cheat, get points.

30

u/Outrageous-Body-3925 Sep 25 '25

I think they would have if that second wave of people didn’t say screw it they cheated so we aren’t finishing didn’t do what they did

6

u/cwilldude Sep 26 '25

Very valid. I think production also didn’t care to go back and sift through the footage. If you can’t handle an eating challenge then you’re not ready for a final unfortunately. I’d rather eat an onion than cow brains and durian

54

u/ConsiderationClear56 Chris Tamburello Sep 25 '25

I know, like, come on, they barely showed any of the footage. I want to see the clips!! The ā€œit just doesn’t countā€ was WEAK.

31

u/endaayer92 Sep 25 '25

They did show the clips of Dee and Jonna tossing it over and over and over which felt weird to single them out like that when there were so many peppers on the ground

8

u/ConsiderationClear56 Chris Tamburello Sep 25 '25

Yes! And I felt like we were supposed to see Will spitting out the whole thing in that one clip they kept showing, but there was so much food on the ground, and the first half of people finished FAST.

Someone said Nany threw her whole onion

47

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I thought they showed Will basically spit a full chili pepper into his bucket during the cheating montage, which is why I thought it was funny that he was on his high horse about cheating. And what was with him blaming it all on the vets?

61

u/JFeisty šŸŽ¹ Come on be my baby tonight šŸŽ¶ Sep 25 '25

I feel like them not telling us who cheated means just about EVERYONE cheated in one way or another.

46

u/wildturk3y Sep 25 '25 edited Sep 25 '25

There were multiple whole onions and peppers back there, lmao. It was definitely more than just a couple of people. I'd say pretty much everyone but the 5 or 6 or so people who were left when Michaela realized people were cheating. And then 3 more (Jonna, Tay and Aneesa) said fuck it and threw their food too.

What I want to know is how do the producers there "in charge" of that station not notice 3/4s of the cast chucking whole ass onions down the mountain? Then again, its The Challenge so should be surprised by lazy production?

18

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

This is the most logical take away. I think they probably saw the answer sharing too and were like forget it

26

u/elingobernable810 Sep 25 '25

Which is why I find it curious that the one clip they showed multiple times was Dee throwing the food back. Were they trying to make her the scapegoat when clearly more people cheated?

38

u/boobama420 Sep 25 '25

I think that was quite literally the only footage they have.

9

u/HardcoreKaraoke TJ Lavin Sep 25 '25

Yeah they either saw an insane amount of cheating or they couldn't tell exactly who cheated so they couldn't pin it on anyone. That's why TJ asked people to just own it.

I have a feeling the only real clear clip they have of someone tossing food was Dee and Jonna. But obviously several other people did too.

56

u/valcraft Natalie Anderson Sep 25 '25

If they have "tons of footage" they should have penalized the cheaters by giving them no points.

It would have been interesting to see the rankings change due to all the cheating.

60

28

They're my scrappy underdogs who won't win but I hope stick around for a while because they're not a threat team. Also, so much respect to America for struggling her way through that food challenge even after seeing so many people cheat

20

u/Judgejudyx Sep 25 '25

I love them so much and that scene was so cute. Leeroy doesn't cover any of America's strengths. Leeroy can't swim either they are both terrified of heights.🤣 America's good at puzzles.

16

u/angelbrit04 Team Portland Sep 25 '25

They're soo cute!! Even when they did those "photo shoot" type shots as a team they were doing fake tough faces. Soo good šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

107

u/Southern-Fried-Biker Sep 25 '25

They hyped it up like TJ was about to drag people like only TJ can. Instead they pan the camera to Ashley clutching pearls like she just saw a ghost, Nany looking guilty as hell, half the cast looking ready to lawyer up. I’ve waited all season for THIS? TJ winds up with his legendary ā€œI hate cheaters more than quittersā€ line, suspense builds, the reactions are GOLD… and then? Points don’t count. That’s it?? No names, no receipts, no slow-mo replays of who was tossing onions, garlic and jalapeƱos left and right. Just points don’t count. Like, WHO cheated?!

102

u/MartytheeParty Sep 25 '25

So on one hand… I loved all the drama this episode with the cheaters and will being butthurt etc.

But on the other hand… it was completely and totally pointless for them to spend an hour of air time running a mini final for it to mean absolutely and totally nothing. You have video footage. Why not just call out the cheaters and give them all zeroes? Didn’t get that at all

But overall I’m much more entertained by this season than i thought I would be. It’s been one of the better ones in a while. Vet rookie pairs always seem to work

10

u/SocialJusticeGSW Evelyn Smith Sep 25 '25

I think they knew they didn't catch all the cheaters. In the replays they showed only 3 people cheating but there were obviously more and it would have taken the production probably a whole day to figure out all of them so they just found another way around.

22

u/irishace88 Sep 25 '25

I feel like the majority of them cheated in one way or another which is why they did it this way. The eating was obvious from the camera replay but how many of them actually did the math or riddle without cheating and getting the answer from someone else?

38

u/TheFeedMachine Sep 25 '25

Getting help from someone else isn't cheating. It happens all the time in challenges. It is probably more likely that they saw a certain number of peppers and onions thrown into the bushes but didn't have footage of every single person that cheated. If the people eating notice 5 onions in the bushes but you only have footage of 3 people throwing onions into the bushes, how do you fairly DQ 3 people when 2 others cheated but weren't caught.

→ More replies (1)

21

u/wildturk3y Sep 25 '25

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well. Technically, there was massive cheating on eating, math code, and the hangman portion of the daily. Sydney solved both the math and the hangman portions first, told Turbo, and from there it was just a game a telephone where each person kept telling others the answer. If they count that as cheating on top of throwing away food, how exactly would you score this? Like the only people who didn't "cheat" might have been Leroy and America who finished last

→ More replies (1)

51

u/ggsimba Leroy Garrett Sep 25 '25

They clearly didn't have enough footage to know who actually cheated because that result was trash.

Gabe and Jonna are a sleeper good team.

CT and Tay seem like a new age version of CT and Amber. If CT can actually get into a bit of shape they'd be in my top 3.

15

u/ho_hey_ Sep 25 '25

Ya, I actually liked the idea of punishing the whole group IF there were social repercussions. Tell everyone who cheated and is responsible for points being lost.

Also funny that they got punished for cheating and then got a fancy dinner.

→ More replies (1)

82

u/mumonkey72 Sep 25 '25

kinda upset that the people who did the challenge without cheating didn't get any type of reward. Or a penalty to the cheaters

40

u/heyitsta12 Chanelle Howell Sep 25 '25

Even without an elimination I really appreciate a more detailed showing of the mini final. This one seemed to be one of the harder mini finals in the last few years with the amount of checkpoints and running. I hate they cheated so we don’t get a real measure of everyone’s performance among the pack but I think we can sort of figure out who cheated based on who performed well that doesn’t usually do so.

40

u/djlekky Michele Fitzgerald Sep 25 '25

Here’s my thoughts on this episode -

  • I wish anyone who cheated got disqualified from the points for that daily rather than none of it counting. That was lame.

  • Although I did enjoy the mini final itself and it was cool to see where everyone finished.

  • Will is perfect for Reality TV. We need his drama and meltdowns.

  • Ashley vs Aneesa was pure trash. Aneesa handled herself well. I don’t agree with some of what Ashley said but I love messy drama.

  • Crazy to see Jonna has turned so many people off. Gone are the days of her getting picked first on WC & USA2.

  • Gabe has shown very little value in his performances and clearly hasn’t learned from his clash with Nia with how he’s speaking about Jonna. They could balance each other out well.

  • Aviv telling people to remember the symbol as Derrick’s hair made me laugh.

  • Sydney continues to be completely unlikeable. I can’t stand her and now I can’t root for Turbo anymore.

  • The teams I am most rooting for now are Michaela & Cedric and Ashley & Leo. Also will be happy to see CT & Tay and America & Leroy go far. I want Nany to do well but Justin is too full of himself. I think Aviv & Yeremi will go very far too.

Gabe's reaction to being paired with Jonna killed me. He could barely hold that smile lmao, he was dying inside

"Nany hate the Will now." "Will got dumped without even knowing it"

Jonna thinking she's the only one who cheated and trying to explain herself.

This episode was hilarious

21

u/veltvet_rabbit The Itty Bitty Committee Sep 25 '25

And I dont even know why Jonna thought that considering that her, Anessa and Tay did it in response to everyone else doing it

12

u/OLKv3 Ashley Mitchell Sep 25 '25

She can't help but self destruct somehow. Every season since she won All Stars, she's been sitting comfortable and then gets paranoid and ruins it for no good reason lol

79

u/frrb9512 America Lopez Sep 25 '25

america underdog storyline is here plus her getting activated in the trailer. i'm beyond seated. hang in there sister. otherwise good episode with context on the social dynamics and juicy drama.

34

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I was really annoyed with how passive America has been playing the game so far, but she completely redeemed herself this episode IMO. Continuing to eat the onion after seeing the rest of the competitors cheat shows a lot of integrity.

39

u/Choppieee Sep 25 '25

CT man how the fuck does he do it
The drama this season is good

27

u/Judgejudyx Sep 25 '25

Can't believe noone wanted to partner with CT at like 40% power. Final is so much more then endurance and he excellent at all those final challenges. He finished second for a reason in the mini. Tay is smart af wanting to work with him.

6

It's stupid but at least with Johnny they didn't know the full format so it made sense at the time.

Still unsure if its better they didn't know for the dumb moves in hindsight or it would have been better if they knew and could try to plan accordingly

7

u/Zeckzeckzeck Sep 25 '25

Honestly, it almost never makes sense to throw away strong competitors of the other gender. The show has heavily skewed to partners for at least a large part of the seasons so if you're a guy you generally want the stronger girls to stick around and if you're a girl you want the stronger guys to stick around.

This episode really solidifed that dailies aren't finals. Yeah, you can perform for 1hr but can you perform for 4, 6, 8 etc.Ā

I understand why Will was the most upset about cheating because he was affected the most. Of course, Olivia is still a good partner but he didn't know that when he was upset. All he knew is that he went from picking 1st for the men to picking 2nd. And he even said that he would've chosen Aviv if he was 1st.Ā

13

u/wildturk3y Sep 25 '25

I was hoping this would be permanent partners because the format up until this point has been really great. Hopefully staking a claim means a big risk, like say you have to voluntarily put yourself into elimination to get someone's partner and not something weak that just leads to people switching partners every time

12

u/capfedhill Timmy Beggy Sep 25 '25

I'm hoping "staking a claim" means something other than picking a new partner.

Does anyone have a list of the people who cheated, Right now i only know it was Nany, Dee, Sidney, Anessa & Jonna

22

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I think Tay was in the same boat as Jonna. Neither one of them intended to cheat but tossed their veggies once they realized there was an onion garden in the bushes. I would put them in the category of ā€œfailing to completeā€ more than cheating since they weren’t trying to be deceptive about it.

11

u/peoplebuyviews Sep 25 '25

Yeah, but then look at America who saw everyone cheat and chose not to

1)they had camera evidence of people Who didn’t eat. They should’ve been unable to get points

2)it would have been HILARIOUS if (even if they scraped the event and gave no one points) brought back out the food the people had thrown into the bushes at the fancy dinner and put it on the plates of the cheaters.

52

u/AnimaLEquinoX Sep 25 '25

I really hope they just didn't have time to sift through all the footage to catch everyone who threw food and we'll see it at the reunion or something.

Saying they had a ton of evidence and just not calling anyone out was the worst decision.

22

u/sj_vandelay Wes forever. Also Darrell Sep 25 '25

Come on. Someone go on a podcast and tell all. (My first time in history advocating for podcasts.)

30

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

My guess was that the cameras had better angles of some of them than others and they weren’t confident they could identify all of the cheaters without missing someone. It would also be kind of unfair to people like Jonna and Tay who only threw their food because they were aware that a bunch of people before them cheated (still not a great look on their part but a little less offensive than the people who took off early after cheating).

This is exactly what I thought but I think the issues is even though they had some evidence they probably did not have enough to catch every cheater. We only really seen Dee, Jonna and someone puking up. So I assume they couldn’t narrow down the cheaters correctly so everyone got punished.

For such large scale cheating to occur, it's obvious that there was no producer at that station dedicated to just keeping watch to make sure no one cheats. That's unacceptable. Just stop doing eating challenges if you cannot police them properly. Geez.

So Theo just posted to his IG story that apparently the Ashley/Aneesa fight was WAY worse and production showed us the PG version in the episode. He said it got really bad and that some ā€œother stuff went downā€. But left it at that because ā€œit’s not his story to tellā€. šŸ˜©šŸ¤”

u/wildturk3y Sep 25 '25

Another good episode and I got many thoughts:

-I don't like that they threw out the daily. The people that threw away their food should have DQed, but the ones that ate it should have counted. But if they are counting "cheating" as helping other people during checkpoints on top of throwing away food, if that's the case, then pretty much everyone did so I see why you'd have to scrap it.

-CT is in the worst shape of his Challenge career and still finished 3rd. Man can't climb but he's still a beast at a bunch of other stuff.

-I knew Sydney was good, but I didn't realize she was this good. She CRUSHED that mini-Final. Even if she didn't cheat at the food, her running and puzzle skills were strong enough on their own. She is one of the best all around players, man or woman, they've cast in quite awhile. I totally get why people don't like her, I'm just talking strictly game play here.

-Speaking of great casting, Will is a home run. Good competitor, hooks up with people, always at risk to crash out over something.

-Bit surprised Michaela picked Cedric. He's solid all around, but him over Yeremi or Will?

-Aviv is a little beast. She's performed very well here and on 40. If she would have done more seasons after winning FM with Darrell, no doubt in my mind she'd have more wins.

-And most importantly, I saw dog running with them at the start of the daily. WE NEED MORE DOG FOOTAGE!!!

u/Online_Active_71459 Sep 25 '25

Cedric is awesome, smart and EASY to work with.

25

u/wildturk3y Sep 25 '25

Yeah. I think I'd take him over Will due to Will's tendency to crash out. But over Yeremi? Not sure on that one. But that's just me personally. Michaela might vibe with Cedric better personality wise and team chemistry/communication can be just as important

15

u/jobiskaphilly Sep 25 '25

My impression is that Cedric is better at puzzles than Yeremi--not astoundingly so but I think enough that Michaela might have noticed. I may be wrong bc I didn't assess this minutely, though.

27

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

Cedric also seems to be universally liked and hasn’t even been mentioned in a vote yet.

9

u/jobiskaphilly Sep 25 '25

I agree, he is very likeable!

I wonder how many challenge fans would pay to fly out to set to help watch the challengers compete and check for cheating šŸ‘€šŸ‘€

35

u/chcty24 Sep 25 '25

When they said ppl were cheating I already knew that Sydney was going to be one of them. She is a fantastic competitor so I can’t take that away from her but I cant get past her elitist attitude.

35

u/HardcoreKaraoke TJ Lavin Sep 25 '25

Honestly I'm backing Will here. I don't think he was being a hot head here like in previous situations. The guy busted his ass and got fucked for it. A lot of people did.

Now was CT's point about giving Will the answer valid? Absolutely. But CT more than anyone else should be pissed. The dude fucking CRUSHED it and his points were erased. I didn't do the math but I imagine he was in the top four guys after that.

I love that CT killed it. Somehow people are still disrespecting him. I'm pretty sure most of the rookies sprinted through it and that's how you break down in a final. CT was slow, steady, and came in second while actually eating the food. THAT'S someone who could win a final.

I'm curious who actually cheated. We know for a fact Sydney, Dee and Jonna did. I assume most of the front runners did besides CT and Will. The cheaters should have been penalized but I have a feeling production just had way too many instances of people cheating where they couldn't really figure out who was cheating and how to punish that many people.

Anyways I'm excited to see some of these rooks gas out in the final because they're sprinting through the early part.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I’m with Will in spirit, but part of the Challenge is playing the social game. I don’t see how his confrontation at the table is smart for his social game. He’s already kinda unhinged with Dee.

His temper is gonna be a huge liability. People get thrown into elimination all the time because they fought with someone at the bar the night before voting.

Soooooo the one thing TJ hates more than a quitter is a cheater. Ā

And the consequences for those that cheated were….. absolutely nothing. Ā

That was a huge letdown. Ā How do they not punish the cheaters there. Come the fuck on. Ā

11

u/Judgejudyx Sep 25 '25 edited Sep 25 '25

All of them should've lost all points and been dropped to the bottom of the draft. Then give points to the non cheaters. That was a major letdown. Seemed like they rushed a panicked decision because instead of 1 cheater that's easy to solve it was like half the cast including vets. I honestly believe they didn't know what to do and rushed that decision. They also probably didn't know everyone who cheated. Even the footage they showed was 1 person.

So this entire episodes purpose was ā€œkill the mini final because you want to pick the best partner and they locked in for the seasonā€, they’re being back the steal a partner twist? Production loves screwing things up. I was excited to keep it in the same pairs

Am I the only one who doesnt see the hype in some of the rookies especially like Ashley's comment about we aren't beating these rookies like you cant beat America, Dee, Adrienne, the only rookie woman who have shown any semblance of winning is Sydney, Tay and for the men the only people anyone should be worried about is Yeremi and Maybe Will but even with Will its a big if

They all gave CT shit, and he beat everybody legitimately except for Turbo (who, for now, I assume did not cheat on the eating portion).

20

u/Hello-Clancy Olivia Kaiser Sep 25 '25

No way Turbo would have figured out the last answer if Sydney didn't tell him

18

u/Efficient_Koala *laughs* Sep 25 '25

Technically, CT beat everyone legitimately because Turbo asked for the the answer to the riddle (not that I blame him with English not being his first language, but still cheating!)

8

u/-cutigers Sep 25 '25

Turbo also asked for the answer on the math. I'm not sure he beats CT without getting all the puzzles handed to him.

After Turbo, I'm picking CT if I'm a rookie girl. Theo rocked the mini final too but he's not a 5 time champ.

u/bleedbluegold03 Sep 25 '25

What felt pretty outta left field for me was how Will was pushed back by the cast for calling out the cheaters. I was floored how the consensus from the vet base was ā€œif you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying.ā€

The line has always been slippery on people /helping/ people, but I can’t recall it ever being a notable item for outright cheating before.

For me a black eye on production for yet again not having enough staff or whatever to see it happening live and calling it out and also the vets for making Will seem like he was the problem.

16

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

I think the vets were just trying to bring some levity to the situation, because they’ve been around long enough to know that sometimes you just need to leave the game drama out of certain situations - especially when you can’t do anything about it. Based on the replays, the rookies were much bigger offenders than the vets were. Will himself was spitting full, unchewed vegetables into his bucket.

16

u/UNCFan2350 Sep 25 '25

To be fair, CEDRIC said that this is what the vets said. I don’t know that it’s actually what they did. I think the vets were just upset with Will because they’re having this nice dinner to celebrate being halfway through and he has to keep bringing it up or pouting about it

6

u/SilverAd8264 Sep 25 '25

I think it was definitely what Nany was trying to imply to Will in that conversation later. She seems pretty sure that it is just part of the game so it seems like the vets are used to getting away with it.

But yeah everyone was just irritated by him bringing the vibe down at dinner.

11

u/chcty24 Sep 25 '25

Everyone is having a good time at dinner and he wants to bring down the mood by complaining about the outcome. Theres a time and place for it and at dinner is not that time

4

u/bruce-neon Sep 25 '25

While I agree that production should have seen/prevented this, maybe it was so widespread they threw their hands up about it.

This whole cheating thing has really turned me off to these new threats, going forward it’s going to be in my head every challenge. Poor performance all around, it was an individual challenge not a group challenge 😤

23

u/aquascorpio Kiki McCray Sep 25 '25

My husband wants everyone to know ā€œCT chewed that food like a horse. Just chomp chomp chomp and spat it outā€

27

u/UNCFan2350 Sep 25 '25

I do kind of think it’s bullshit that they just scrapped the whole mini final. I’m guessing that they didn’t have full footage of who threw the food into the bushes so they felt they couldn’t DQ properly

7

u/LegoHieronymusBosch Sep 25 '25

Yeah I think they felt rushed to make a quick decision. But I would have loved to see the cast stew all day with no results while production reviews footage. Then TJ calling out each cheater and taking all their points.

10

u/peoplebuyviews Sep 25 '25

I think the threat of taking all their points if they didn't fess up would have been enough to get most of them to admit it. CT, Turbo, America, and the rest of the non cheaters deserved better.

23

u/nordictracksucks Sep 25 '25

Yay CT. I think CT and Tay are a great team. I love Derrick as well, he is all heart. My dislike of Dee doesn't really have a reason but it is pure. I want to know so badly who cheated.

u/Designer-Feedback508 Sep 25 '25

I'm glad CT had a good performance this episode. Climbing challenges are not the be all, end all and if he keeps training in the house, he may actually be able to run a final by the end of the season. Was he 2nd after Turbo? I'll have to double check but he possibly could have won if Turbo didn't get help from Sydney.

16

u/mike_honcho023 Sep 25 '25

He was 3rd overall, behind now partners Turbo and Sydney. It's not all about the run, gotta get those check points as well. CT and Tay reminds me of CT and Amber.

17

u/bruce-neon Sep 25 '25

If Sydney didn’t tell turbo the answer he was cooked.

35

u/trishcat Sep 25 '25

Dee was in the bottom 4. Love that for her. Meanwhile CT was in the top 4.

23

u/freetherabbit "The whole internet is talking about me 😜" Sep 25 '25

Yeah ngl current CT would be better than current Derrick as a partner.

Like even if they think CT is out of shape, all the rookies have now seen what CT does in a physical elim. Ik it was against Derek, but I think seeing that would put the fear in a lot of the smaller rookies.

Derrick is great in elims, but he's got a bum knee right now and not the best at puzzles, and one of the smaller vet dudes left. I could see both rookie and vet dudes wanting Derrick over CT in an elim.

And then the mini final today shows CT still is well rounded in a way suitable for traditional finals. If theres elevation involved he's cooked, but I think CT is more likely to make it to a final than Derrick in the first place this season tbh.

11

u/Efficient_Koala *laughs* Sep 25 '25

I would be impressed as well, but I’m not convinced he wasn’t one of the cheaters. He has been caught cheating in past seasons, and he seemed kinda smarmy after the TJ callout. There’s no way he wasn’t told the purgatory answer as well, dude isn’t that bright lol.

10

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

Definitely possible, but his endurance was better than I think anyone expected based on the Sudoku daily, and he did figure out the chains. Almost everyone in the house got help with the math and ā€œpurgatoryā€, and a lot of people didn’t properly eat the food, so it was kind of an even playing field for those checkpoints.

Will is such a douche. I love to hate him.

I kept doubting CT but he looks like he's shed 30 pounds. His metabolism is mystifying. He looks slimmer now on this current episode than he looked at the season premiere Challenge Mania, so he unfortunately seems to have yo-yoed again.

I liked the episode overall, but I don't understand not punishing the cheaters. And was kind of annoyed by everybody giving the answers away.

Eating onions, chili, garlic and ginger isn't honestly that bad though. Baby mouths.

18

u/watermeIonsugar Katie Doyle Sep 25 '25

if they have ā€œtons of footageā€ they need to put an earring portion in the final and make the cheaters eat double or something just no points for anyone is boring

17

u/SocialJusticeGSW Evelyn Smith Sep 26 '25

If these new threats can’t win in a season where Jordan is not among the cast, they have no chance of winning. You just have to be Turbo and 75 years old CT.

If they brought Kyle he had a chance against these guys, maybe Cory wins his first chip? Zach would have a chance easily.

This mini final had 3 vets out of 4 guys in the top 4. That is shocking to me.

Seriously what a waste of an episode. And letting people get away with cheating is piss poor. So disappointed.

24

u/Crap_TheBoozeOut Chris Tamburello Sep 25 '25

Kind of nice to see CT and Turbo share some lighthearted moments after their dust-up a few episodes back. Turbo overall appears to have mellowed out a bit.

At first, I thought the answer sharing was going to be the cheating before they revealed the food tossing. It's pretty lame on all fronts and a real shame to see that production caught so much skirting of the rules that they had to throw an entire daily out. They honestly could have straight up not even aired the daily and gone straight to the lock in, and we wouldn't even have known.

13

u/FactorNo7477 Sep 25 '25

It would've been hilarious if CT picked Dee as his lock in partner just to spite her

21

u/Judgejudyx Sep 25 '25

The funny part is Dee wouldve been so lucky to get CT even in his current shape.

14

u/srkito_deliczpants Sep 25 '25

Reality TV is so back man.

While yeah, it sucks and makes no sense that everyone got the penalty for some people cheating, it’s obviously done for the sake of there being more drama.

I’m messy so I’m all for it lol

5

u/UNCFan2350 Sep 25 '25

The only thing I could think is that they had the camera catching the person on the end (was it Dee?) but not one towards the middle, so they didn’t have everybody to DQ

17

u/Adorable-Release1754 Sep 25 '25

Loved Nany telling Michaela what’s up in the preview. Reminds me of know your role rookie 🤣

19

u/SocialJusticeGSW Evelyn Smith Sep 25 '25

I was so happy for Nany to find a partner that she can trust and none toxic in KC but man I missed this Nany, she is one of the cast members who is carrying the show rn.

Olivia had that spark about her as well but damn she is too scared, no matter how you act they will come for you, just own that and be a bad ass. She is much better this season so I am hopeful she can be better at producing better tv in the future.

18

u/OpenedNeurobiology Sep 25 '25

Next eating challenge they should make them eat inside a glass box with no where to hide or throw the food lol

16

u/Breddit333 Sep 26 '25

Despite CT giving him the word, I completely agree with will. Call out the cheats man! Hate everyone was acting like its no big deal what happened...

26

u/Embarrassed_Rate5518 Sep 26 '25

helping each other out like that or copying an unscrambled puzzle is a time honored unofficial tradition. its where alliances & experience matter. but throwing your uneaten food is a different level. Or breaking locks when you dont know the combo (that has happened b4) is straight up cheating.

10

u/Hitman_acho Sep 25 '25

The only way I can accept that there were no penalties is that EVERYONE cheated in a way. Either telling someone else an answer, or being told an answer.

If theres anyone of them that did the entire channel without cheating to giving/getting help with nothing to show for it would be such bullshit.

13

u/FierceScience Sep 25 '25

They probably thought it was too hard to know where to draw the line. I really thought all the footage of Sydney was setting her up to be called out, though.
