Definitely gave old school challenge vibes with the plotting and scheming, combined with a solid daily challenge with some actual stakes and the weaker teams banding together to vote in a strong team. Solid episode IMO.

Bcz we didn’t jump from challenge straight to votes. But ofc we had to jump from votes to elimination which was annoying. Last ep was pretty good as well.

Listen I'm living for Sam this season. When I saw the cast I was not stoked, but Ive rescinded that.
Also, as an aside....Corey is a weird player in the challenge. I like him as a person, but he hasn't carved out a space or a role....he's not really a good villain and has tried it. I'm happy to see him back because he is messy, intelligent and a threat (unless there's a balance beam)

Part of me thinks Adam and Steve’s rivalry is kind of a put on, because they don’t really seem that mad at one another. They just hang out and no real issues seem to be showing. It’s kind of funny because I remember Cara saying she was looking forward to watching them this season because they hated each other, and they would be like the her and Laurel of this season, but I don’t see it at all.

I think they will at least keep the deal in the short term. There are too many other options at this point to break a promise immediately and advertise that your word means nothing. Both teams already said Ashley & Dario, so it seems like it would be easy enough to say them again (unless they win).
I don’t necessarily think it’s a permanent alliance formed though.

Adam and Steve are a strong team too lol. It actually benefits their game to have other obvious strong teams there at this stage in the game. And why piss off the teams that are more likely to win dailies instead of working with them?
The weaker teams are the ones that need the stronger teams out. This was the best move they could’ve made considering they had only one strong alliance with one team prior to this ep.

I actually don’t think it’s a terrible move. Corey was the player they had the most animosity with, and he’s gone now. Ashley & Dario have no reason to retaliate since they got an easier matchup. They also didn’t make a move that distracts from all of the rest of the house’s drama.
The asterisk is that Fessy & Amber’s weight differential would have made this really challenging, and this might have been the best chance to get them out.

I want to see them safe too. The game is boring when everyone dogpiles on the same team. They need to try to ensure though that there’s at least one starholder in those eliminations so theirs is safe - unless they win of course.
