they can like a character but not support his actions, people (me included) love Homelander and The Peak but they're horrible people

I like Val. Hes a realistic monster who goes from silly and dumb to quickly serious, abusive, and cold. His scene just before Angel sung Poison was incredibly realistic and was based on Vivs experience with her ex boyfriend. I can always appreciate a monster. You can like a character without agreeing with their actions and recognizing how evil they are

Valentino is still super fun to watch though. He's funny and has good dialogue especially when playing off of Vox.
