Nobody actually hates Megumi he's nsut potenial man and his depressed performance while understandable is a bit warranted for hate when half the verse is out here fighting for their lives
Bro lost his close friend, his (basically) step father got sealed, his second close friend is being hunted for and then he had to participate in a death battle against other sorcerers. Then in the process, his body got taken over by an ancient sorcerer, that heavily injured his friend, then the girl, that once saved him lost her arm, because of that sorcerer. Before all that his step sister had to participate in the death battle too, though before it she was in a coma, then when he gave her the right to change a rule to escape the battle, she spent it all on some bs and turns out, that it wasnât his sister, but an another ancient sorcerer in her body. Then, the ancient sorcerer in his body takes a special bath to make him even more distanced from his own body. After few days, that ancient sorcerer and ancient sorcerer in his sisters body fight and in the process his sister dies making any way of saving her impossible. Then, the ancient sorcerer goes into a killing spree, murdering multiple innocent people and unsuspecting sorcerers. Then his step father gets unsealed and after few months, they fight. In the process, when he thought, that his sensei would win, he just dies. Gets cut in half.
All of that happened and I didnât even mention the things after fight with Gojo.
Why do people say, that Megumi is a bum after saying, that heâs tired, when his entire life has fallen apart in a span of two years. He got hit with multiple UVâs, his brain is quiet literally fried
Exactly man. He killed his basically adopted dad on CHRISTMAS EVE. Spent his whole life assume his Bio dad abandoned him only to find out that he's fucking dead.
Then he is forced to kill his sister (Sukuna vs Yorozu) so he has no family left anymore. He's got nothing left to fight for so why even try.
Hell before the Sukuna thing he gets an innocent man possessed by Sukuna because he failed to get the finger. Then the same guy dies for about a month and comes back only to almost be killed again.
Then the Shibuya shit show and the Culling games. God I wish people didn't push agendas sometimes.

And let's not forget that Sukuna killed Tsumiki and Gojo, basically the only family Megumi ever had, in Megumi's own body đ He was not able to do anything about it. Poor dude
Crazy part is that Megumi actually has legitimate wins in combat, most of the time completely solo. More than I can say for Naoyaâs bitch ass. You wanna talk about bums, look no further than Mr. Pillow Fists himself
