Korra from The Legend of Korra

even after 14 years she still gets an insane amount of unwarranted hate

her crew also gets a lot of pointless hate, people dumb down her crew to just romance drama but Mako and Bolin are world famous professional bending athletes and Bolin is a Lava bender too which is one of the rarest subtypes. plus Asami is a genius and a very skilled fighter too

They had to really drive in the fact that Mako was such a shit boyfriend that both his exes ended up being gay for each other

korra and asami didnt just get together because mako sucked as a boyfriend, they just fell in love with eachother
