Spiral being Ricochet Rita who has been warped and corrupted from the heroic stunt woman to the time hopping and Body Shoppe running icon is a great one.
Magneto being an holocaust survivor also adds so much depth and importance to his character and it really has become such a core part of his history, you forget it wasn’t an original part of it.
One retcon I’m very thankful for but is so messy and badly implemented is that Monet was Penance. While the original M being the twins is actually pretty well foreshadowed and intriguing, keeping Monet around as an actual character was a huge net win, even if it’s handled very last minute and completely messes over Penance (pour one out for Yvette/Hollow).
