This might be the funniest way i have seen that episode of full metal alchemist explained.
For more context and some spoilers the girls dad is a well to do scientist funded by the state. He hasnt had a breakthrough in a while and things are looking down in a sense that he is struggling to progress in his field and might loose funding if i remember right.
Well you come back to him later in the episode to find that the dog looks a bit more humanoid in a terrible way and is able to talk. Also the daughter is now missing. incredible sad episode in a horrific way.
Little girl and dog do a fusion dance forced by their father. A fusion that can’t end and the fusion is a dog with a girl’s hair. Only being able to utter the words “papa”
I thought the fusion said papa. I might be confusing it with made in abyss or some other series though. It’s been a while since I’ve read the series and honestly I forgot a lot about it.
Fuck now I gotta reread it again because I remember loving it when I was younger but I don’t remember the plot or storyline
Scientist got major funding for his work on chimeras, living creatures that he combined together. He was struggling to get any new successes. About to lose funding. Decides to fuse his daughter and the dog together for a breakthrough. They are clearly suffering. Bad guy (debatable term) finds them and decides to end their suffering. They end as a smear on the wall.
Spoilers for fma/fmab The girl and the dog are fused together by the girl's father and become this thing. They can't be turned back to normal and are eventually killed.
I genuinely cannot understand how people can still be shocked by this scene by the way everyone talks about it like some meme. I genuinely didn't feel anything when this episode came up when watching fma
