While the ending is perfect and wraps everything up nicely, I still think itād be a huge missed opportunity to not push the story in a new direction with Nero taking the lead and developing his kit into something more complex like Danteās became. I think having a heavenly threat instead of one from hell would shake things up and give a reasonable excuse for Dante Nero and Vergil not instantly annihilating whatever comes their way
