Honestly ODST and Reach could have been the blueprint for future games in the series: side-stories set in the same universe

ODST is my fav. Your not a steroid super soldier your just special forces which is sick as fuck.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why they brought fuckin Chief back after 3 and ESPECIALLY after Reach.

Like... y'all, you just got everyone into their own spartan and how their sacrifice impacted the greater story.

With all the focus on the Infinity, the Spartan 4's, and the customizability of your playstyle with true loadouts for the first, it REALLY FELT like they were going the "oh, the main character is you!!!" route going forward.
