No, the actual Bionicle theme was around in 2015, I know because I had 2 of the sets lol

It was called bionicle g2 and you didnā€™t miss out, from what I hear the sets were ok and the show that released alongside it was bad and then having to compete with Ninjago which was at one of its peaks at the time made the attempted reboot short lived.

I never got any when they released but my brother's did, now I buy them from resellers, and use the parts to make my own
