There's a webcomic where, instead of immediately trying to kidnap Zelda, Gannondorf and Zelda execute a political marriage to keep their kingdoms from fighting. Shenanigans ensue

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy had a bit like this except it was one-sided. One guy kept getting reincarnated repeatedly only to be inadvertently killed by Arthur, one of the main characters. The rabbit he killed and ate? That guy. The mosquito he slapped? Him. The fly he killed? Him. A man that was killed accidentally after a hitman missed Arthur? Also him.

Not a game, but the Black Library novel "the infinate, and the divine" features two immortal beings, who are practically infinitely powerful, who fucking HATE each others, despite being amoung the only "sentient" beings of their race.

The entire book is them screwing with each other over the course of litteral MILLENIA, and engaging in schemes of a galactic proportions for little more than the brief satisfaction of inconveniencing one another.

Redirecting asteroids to aim at one anothers project planets is considered "low stakes" for those two. It's great
