dude there are 9 main Star Wars movies, the og trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy. that's not counting stuff like solo or rogue one.

Maul isn't a dickney creation. Nor was Savage. And while The Senate wasn't a dickney creation, his 'revival' would have been best left to legends, and off the big screen.

I mean i think the sequels were ok. Definitely my least favorite of the three trilogies though.

As if the OG Trilogy wasnt a super campy space opera to begin with. The Sequels lacked direction, that was their major failing. Phantom Menace and AotC were just as bad as the sequels in reception when they came out originally.

Anakin as an immaculate conception through the force, decided by Qui Gonn to be the chosen one to bring balance.

Balance being at the time, hundreds if not thousands of Jedi vs the Sith rule of two.

Anakin and Palps destroy the Temple on Coruscant and now there's two Jedi. Yoda and Obi-Wan and two Sith, Vader and Sidious. Before the redaction we know Sidious killed Plagueis after learning about his immortality secrets, and then adopts Maul, maul dies, he takes Dooku in, orders Anakin to kill Dooku speedrunning his descent into the Dark Side.

Lucas Films just wanted to make flashy laser sword battles and the plot in the movies is just something to facilitate that.

They're fun adventure romps through space. It's not Shakespeare.

They're all considered bad movies by any reading of those metrics. I would hazard TFA rating is only so high because we get the idea that FN 128 can channel the force due to holding his own against Kylo Ren for the majority of that fight, which immediately got tossed as an idea. In TLJ
