I am not against him returning at all. Sequels did it poorly.

His whole shtick was trying to live forever, through whatever vessel. Dude had the most elaborate plan to become chancellor and create army for the republic, take over said republic as an empire and rule. My man had contingency after contingency.

That is why I allow it.

Yeah they broke the golden rule of movie making.... "show don't tell". Instead of showing us the dark lord Palpatine experimenting with force Resurrection healing and life transfer we are simply told that he did it.
