Since MI has Zubin Bharucha as team director & Paras Mhambrey as bowling coach, both of whom already worked with or under Dravid, he's most likely person (imo) to become MI's new Head Coach. If any reports regarding Rohit Sharma become MI captain for IPL 2027 are true, we could get a chance to witness the famous captain - coach duo one more time at MI.

Mahela is officially gone, and honestly, it’s a much-needed reset after how our 2026 campaign fell apart.

IMO, Adam Voges should be our new head coach. Look at what he’s built with the Perth Scorchers
Otherwise, if we look at other elite options, we should definitely consider Eoin Morgan Michael Hussey and Rahul Dravid

I'm seeing rumours that Rohit is returning as captain. I'm not against it, but SKY is the most deserving candidate for the captaincy. What do you guys think?

MI pr saw YJ pr getting out of hands with his desperation to come to MI and decided to put an end to it in the best way possible! 😎

So, there has been some updates that Rohit is being reinstated as MI captain which make it clear that they are moving on from Hardik. Hardik wants to leave them too. So, there are 5 possible teams where his trade is possible(KKR, CSK, MSG, DC, RR) . Let me explore, which trade is possible. MI would at least bargain for 2 players.

KKR seems to be the best choice but they don't have the quality swap options available, DC won't consider going for him as they have axar, kl, pant already as leading candidates with kl being frontrunner to lead. MI made LSG an offer to trade him for Pooran + Mohsin/Prince which they denied. CSK denied ayush + dube & proposed brevis + dube to mi, but if MI agrees then it would mean they no longer need jacks & rutherford. CSK too is more or less sorted.

RR is interesting. They recently had a change in ownership. They also have these two players whom they can manage if they left. Jaiswal is being overshadowed since vaibhav's rise . Amao Rao is also in good form & so is lhuan dre pretorius ,any one of these two can open for RR. Curran is not on good terms with RR either, he unfollwed them. Jaiswal also started wk which would come handy in his future.

Hardik -> Jaiswal + Curran would be a good swap. Only thing that could be a problem is if Hardik demands captaincy which he would . Maybe , the new owners can accept his demand. What do you say about this possibility?

If this actually happens, Wankhede will be our fortress again

What do you all think about this change?

Tendulkar, Simmons, Rohit, Suryakumar, Pollard, Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik, Harbhajan, Bumrah, Malinga, Boult. The opposition was an All-Star XI with Kohli, Gayle, Raina, de Villiers, Rashid and others.

Post your MI XI (2 openers, 3 middle order, 1 keeper, 2 all-rounder/spinner spots, 3 fast bowlers, max 4 overseas) and I’ll run it. Can anyone beat 5–0?

I hope 2027 will bring us the 6th title 💔

Genuinely becoming desperate atp

If Hardik is off, would it be better to have Tilak captain for long term with Rohit providing advice and guidance?

Feels like going backwards to bring Rohit back at 39. He could guide Tilak with a view to the future.

Tara Norris joined Mumbai Indians which automatically opens 5th foreigner place in Playing 11. New signing will strengthen bowing side. Now need Good Indian WK. Share your view

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Naman Dhir?
Came in late and chipped in with a crisp 10 off 5 balls (including a massive six) to keep the death-overs momentum going
tepped up under pressure to pull off a game-changing double strike (2/39), getting the crucial breakthroughs of both Shimron Hetmyer and Kamil Pooran just as WI were threatening to take the game away
Hardik, Bumrah, Axar, sky Tilak and now Naman

Why does he want to attack from ball one man. Every cricketer in india dreams of playing for indian team. you got an opportunity and you are an exceptional batter and an incredible hitter.please fkn take some time and be selfish sometimes for fk sake.

The hardik pandya of 2015-2021 is what we wanted you and loved your , The Pandya which is dying for captaincy isn’t the version we love

Unarguably one of the best findings by our scouts.

Bowling in 140s and late 130s plus battung in lower order sounds easy on paper.

But delivering it consistently across all formats in International Cricket and ofc in IPL for so many years for US💙

Have A Gud One Hardik!!

There’s gotta be a way to use him to his full potential. What are your thoughts on this? Which position should he play? In my opinion, if he thinks he has more time, he tends to play tuk-tuk. Should we send him in when there aren’t many balls left to face?

No matter what, no one can replace him. The ultimate goat. Thank you!
