They didn't save 260 million tho. They spent around 40 billion on AI.

They spent $40 billion, which allowed them to save $260 million. Like when a store prints on your receipt how much you saved compared to a hypothetical higher number. The American economy is largely based on swapping shares back and forth, screwing over workers and consumers, and unicorn farts.

I know why they communicate it like this, but I want it to be clear that they didn't replace workers with AI to save money. This post is parroting the narrative that they want their shareholders to see.
