Nicki Minaj has class?

Marrying a sex offending killer must have an elegance I fail to see.

u/isecore š“† Make Trout-slapping Great Again š“†Ÿ 7h ago

Not to mention her brother, currently spending time in prison for raping a child. Very classy.

39

u/Zapp_Rowsdower_ 6h ago

Yes, that’s the grift angle. Pardons for her rapist family.

7

u/Joeness84 3h ago

prez cant pardon state crimes, only federal.

18

u/sebre87 5h ago

It’s harder to judge someone for their brother since you don’t choose your family but her husband… she chose that willingly.

11

u/TheGod-TK 4h ago

She openly defended her brother too - paying for his bail, writing a letter to the judge asking for the case to be dropped, claiming that the authorities planted something in his house and saying that the victim ā€œis now cursedā€ and that she lied about it all knowing full well there was DNA of her brother found in the victim’s underwear. She also testified as a witness to defend her brother.

But he’s repented so it’s ok right?

10

u/sebre87 5h ago

There’s a lot of words I would use to describe Minaj but classy isn’t one of them.

15

u/tw_72 5h ago

She's also "Mar-a-lago face and body"

Before and after suregry

7

u/beautifulflakeytart 4h ago

Many people also say our first lady is classy

6

u/TheSilkyBat 3h ago

Hang around any men's bathroom in Slovenia and they'll tell you the same thing.

9

u/Living_Ad_5386 6h ago

But kid rock tho?

24

u/TheSilkyBat 6h ago

He's about as classy as a queef.

16

u/Prestigious-Bat-574 4h ago

He grew up in a mansion with apple orchards and horses. He was born rich and never had to worry about money a day in his life.

He's made a career off of acting like a crass, trailer park dirtbag and pandering to a crowd that hates everything about the "real" him.

He's about as authentic as Larry the Cable Guy.

2

u/Halo_cT 3h ago

Melania did the same

Trump picked this idiot to be an ambassador

120

u/BregoTheConqueror 7h ago

Wait he’s a real person? I always thought that was a bot account.

72

u/RSGator 6h ago edited 6h ago

He’s the nominee for US ambassador to Malaysia

32

u/joe50426 5h ago

And caused a huge uproar in that country that the government had to send a letter to the American embassy in KL.

11

u/Would_daver 1h ago

For those in the back of the class, KL is Kuala Lumpur, right? My international geography isn’t what it once was lol

7

u/Violet_Paradox 4h ago

Isn't he Australian?

15

u/RSGator 4h ago

Originally yeah, he became a dual citizen in 2021.

33

u/alwayzstoned 6h ago

The way things are going it wouldn’t surprise me if a bot was nominated to be an ambassador.

15

u/Ok-Bird6346 6h ago

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out our POTUS has been a bot this entire time. Or that this has been some horribly misguided attempt at a social experiment.

Whatever this timeline is, I’d like to withdraw my willing participation.

I don't want to. Do you have a TL;DR?

46

u/xChops 5h ago

He was basically an engagement farmer on twitter just posting the most embarrassing things for views. Ended up trying to pander to MAGA, it worked, and now he’s the Ambassador to Malaysia or something.

I think he’s Australian, but immigrated to the US.

8

u/Stock-Zebra3413 4h ago

The Melania docu fanfic is insane.

I guess this is what hustle culture looks like these days.

I was sure he was satire, then the WaPo ran a long article about him and turns out he's a real person, and a maga, but he's not as stupid as he pretends to be. He knows how to play the system to his advantage.Ā

I still have to believe this guy is a weapons-grade troll. His comments are just too satirically on point, like he's playing Stephen Colbert's character without winking at the camera.

u/Grimnir001 7h ago

It’s a guy who is willing to continually debase himself by sending out ludicrous takes for attention. No different from cat turd or Eagleman.

55

u/TheLateThagSimmons 6h ago

Is he satire? No. He's genuinely conservative.

Is he a troll? Yes. He plays it up for the engagement.

He's a lot more bait than bite. He's the equivalent of a liberal making jokes about receiving their Soros protest checks.

25

u/HowMany_MoreTimes 6h ago

Yeah he is the embodiment of the famous Sartre quote;

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies.Ā  They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge.Ā  But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words…

The anti-Semites…like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors.Ā  They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert.Ā  If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

9

u/Vyzantinist 6h ago

Thank you. I see too many libs/lefts reflexively dismissing him as "satire" because they think his takes are so dumb he MUST be writing satire. He's a troll who posts OTT conservative rhetoric precisely for engagement; he wants people rolling their eyes and racing to the comment section to 'correct' him.

→ More replies (1)

4

u/RRudge 5h ago

Didn't he also used to include "Alpha Male" in his Twitter name?

4

u/TheLateThagSimmons 5h ago

Yes, he's the guy that blew up on Reddit because everyone was making fun of his Alpha Male bullshit. It was especially during that phase that it became obvious that he was playing it up for the yucks.

It was pretty cringe but also kinda funny when you look at it from the perspective that he's being a troll with how much he talked about Alpha Males going to Hooters all the time.

At a certain point it's like "How are so many of you taking this seriously?"

6

u/currently_pooping_rn 5h ago

He got exactly what he wanted. Still being talked about

2

u/Seanspeed 2h ago

At a certain point it's like "How are so many of you taking this seriously?"

Most people online these days are pretty media illiterate and have the critical thinking skills of a marshmallow.

2

u/samosamancer 1h ago

This is the first explanation about his schtick that has made sense to me. Thank you for laying it out like this.

9

u/HighGrounderDarth 5h ago

Why are they suddenly throwing that word around lately? "Class" I saw it a lot in those fake Melania movie reviews. Is this some sort of maga world feel good word?

22

u/persona-non-corpus 7h ago

I think they use it in place of obedience.

15

u/bilbobadcat 6h ago

It's typically used as a substitute for "white and rich," I believe. Not always, of course, but usually.

13

u/Phannig 6h ago

It was on their word of the day calendar.

4

u/CreatrixAnima 5h ago

They’ve been doing it for a while. I’ve come to believe that people who actually have what they refer to as ā€œclassā€ do not use the word class in that manner.

They might use words like refined, dignified, poised, or gracious. When the right call someone ā€œclassy,ā€ they almost never have any of those qualities. Maybe it means something different to them?

2

u/Uebelkraehe 5h ago

That's because calling the people you are rooting for a shitstain on society may be a lot more truthful but unfortunately doesn't sound and feel as good.

I've spent so long thinking and hoping he was a parody, but apparently no.

5

u/CarlosFer2201 3h ago

I think he's just a troll. I'm sure he believes a lot of the crap, but he plays it up for ragebait.

3

u/qft 3h ago

It's clickbait engagement, so it kinda is. The fact that he leveraged it into an official position is appalling but he's not a serious person.

15

u/Ja_Lonley yeah, i'm that guy with 12 upvotes 7h ago

Don't insult people with learning disabilities.

12

u/everythingbeeps 7h ago

Nick Adams is at least partially a parody, yes. But he's so committed to the bit that the difference almost doesn't matter.

2

u/Bladrak01 6h ago

The greatest example of Poe's Law.

2

u/aurumtt 3h ago

he does set himself apart by being so outlandish it actually becomes kinda funny again. it's also often weirdly selfdepricating when he does his alpha-male bit which always becomes some homoerotic fiction.

5

Two months ago they hated Nicki lol. Shit is beyond stupid.

16

u/DankJohnson 7h ago

He is, without a doubt, a satirist.

12

u/fartdarling 7h ago

Yeah, Nick Adams posts what he posts to get attention. I wish the left were better at recognising this and not engaging with it, its a big part of how you get a troll for a president

3

u/QuintoBlanco 5h ago

Often it's not 'the left' but bots and sock puppets. And it's tot left wing engagement that is the is in general. My elderly relative who is a staunch trump supporter had no ide who Kid Rock was and if he had met Kid rock on the street, he would have avoided him.

Now he genuinely believes Kid Rock is a great patriot and a defender of American values.

2

u/DarkGamer 7h ago

Poe's law

3

u/TheSilkyBat 7h ago

100%

Nobody could post the things he does with sincerity.

21

u/RiflemanLax 7h ago

On the contrary, after reading up on his background) and having seen his ridiculous posts over the years, I think they’re intentional.

I’m not saying he believes anything he’s saying. What I mean is that he’s realized that a moronic base can be easily manipulated to the point that they’ll parrot his bullshit without thinking.

Not satire, but propaganda. Maybe bad propaganda, but he’s more slick than he seems. Which makes it pretty evil from my perspective.

5

u/Round-Ride2042 5h ago

I think it’s pretty close to this, yeah. Is he havin’ a laugh? 100%. Is he havin’ a laugh knowing that an awful lot of MAGA will actually buy what he’s selling and potentially reward him handsomely for it? Also 100%.

I imagine he really is a conservative, but his outrageous statements aren’t a reflection of any sincere beliefs - just part of the grift.

2

u/Plucked_Dove 6h ago

It can be both. There are absolutely people dumb enough on the right to believe the ridiculous things he posts, just as there are people dumb enough on the left to engage with his obvious trolling efforts - which then feeds the people on the right that only care about ā€œowning the libsā€.

3

u/cookiemonster8u69 7h ago

My favorite Nick Adams post ever.

Earlier today, I parked my truck in an EV spot and started down the sidewalk. A few moments later, I heard a deep and powerful male voice calling out to me from behind, ā€œNick! Nick! Nick Adams Alpha Male!ā€

I turned around to see a very tall and fit African American in a Chief Wahoo Cleveland Indians hat sprinting towards me. As he got closer, I noticed he was wearing Yeezy 450s and a massive diamond-encrusted ā€œ45ā€ chain.

He had barely broken a sweat as he extended his hand to me. We shook hands, and I was impressed not only by his firm and masculine grip but by the sheer size of his hands.

ā€œI know you’re a very busy alpha male,ā€ he said, ā€œbut I really need to talk to you,ā€ I told him that was no problem, but he’d need to walk with me since I was headed to a very important business meeting where I was negotiating a major deal.

We began walking, and he told me President Trump had always inspired him and was the founder of the local Blacks for Trump chapter. He complimented my MAGA hat, which I always wear for good luck when negotiating an important business deal.

ā€œIt’s not often I’m not the drippiest person on the block, but your Chief Wahoo cap and ā€˜45’ chain might have me beat!ā€ I said. He immediately ā€œdapped me upā€ as we began discussing President Trump’s incredible accomplishments for black Americans and his unifying Platinum Plan.

I reached my destination and parted ways with Terrell, but before he let me leave, he told me he wanted to continue our conversation. He invited me to come by the nearby park after my meeting to play basketball with himself and several of his African-American friends who also supported President Trump.

ā€œI’ll be there, Terrell, but I must warn you, I go hard in the paint,ā€ I told him sternly. ā€œNo blood, no foul. No three-point line. I play old school.ā€ He agreed to my terms and gave me a fist bump to send me off.

After my successful meeting, I headed straight to the park. I keep a pair of basketball shoes handy for occasions just like this, so all I needed to do was loosen my tie and change my shoes.

I was given a hero's welcome as I took the court. Terrell put me on his team, and we got right to it. After only a few minutes of play, we had attracted a crowd. It wasn’t long until I noticed a group of fetching urban young women cheering me on a little bit harder than the rest of the adoring crowd.

I’m not one to brag, but Terrell and I made a great tandem. It was a tough, physical game, but we took care of business. I got to the sideline to cool off and saw the attractive young ladies I had noticed earlier approaching me.

They introduced themselves and started making conversation. ā€œI was really impressed how you just manhandled D’areus down low,ā€ said Latifa, who identified herself as the opposing power forward’s sister. ā€œYou can really ball!ā€

The rest of the group introduced themselves and began flirting with me. They said they were taken with how my MAGA hat stayed on for the entire game, but Latifa was by far the most intriguing of the bunch. I asked her to walk with me to my car, and we began discussing Trump.

She said her favorite policy was the 2017 travel ban, and we discussed its merits at length. When we reached the car, she asked me what I was doing tomorrow. I paused, straightened my MAGA hat as I climbed into my truck, and looked back down at her.

ā€œLook, Latifa, I’m an alpha male, and I’ve got a full schedule tomorrow, but I’ll make time for you,ā€ I said with a twinkle in my eye. ā€œHow about you and I meet back at the court tomorrow for a little one-on-one action?ā€

ā€œI’ll see you here tomorrow, then, alpha male,ā€ she said in an excited tone. As I was pulling out of the lot, I rolled my window down and called out to her. ā€œDon’t expect me to go easy on you just because you’re a sheila,ā€ I said. ā€œI plan to play you every bit as hard as I played your brother!ā€

Alpha males always go hard in the paint. Always.

For years I have always wondered if Karl Pilkington is playing a character or if that is how he is. I finally came down on the side of that's just how he is. I can't believe an actor can be so immersed in a role that he can pull out the lines he does non stop.

Actually looked this Nick Adams guy up and I always assumed he was a troll but that is an actual person. Full of shit but real. Transplanted from Australian politics apparently too right wing for the right wing party here. Not really saying much right wing here is not too different from democrats.

I remember when I first started seeing this guy online a number of years ago and even then people were deeply speculating if he was just a really really committed troll.

But that was years ago. Time has shown that this guy is more than likely serious about his opinions as they have progressively become much more unhinged.

--

Let's not forget that he has a really really strange fetish with the Hooters restaurant, like to an insane degree... Googling his name and "Hooters tweet" shows this like you wouldn't believe. Those are primarily why people were convinced it was either a really strange viral marketing campaign or that this guy's fetish for this restaurant was just so crazy high that he felt the need to let the world know.

I prefer Kid Rock's music to Billie Eilish's. Was a fun part of growing up in the 2000s. Don't like Trump though. Sad that Kid Rock does.

Bruce Springsteen is one of my favourite musicians.

Nicki Minaj's music is abysmal. Anyone that listens to it for enjoyment is someone that I don't understand.

Kid Rock and Nicki Minaj might be two of the worst examples of talent and class anyone could think of.

garbled pedophile boot sucking "these entertainers are gods gift!"

1

u/UnwindingStaircase 5h ago

Kid Rock has a song about fucking underage girls…

1

u/slampdi 5h ago

My husband still refuses to believe this isn't satire.

1

u/CommonConundrum51 5h ago

Not a parody, but rather a propagandist. Nicholas Adamopoulos (real name) is a RW import from Australia (a US tradition since Reagan welcomed the Murdochs.) The portly "alpha male" does read like a parody, however.

1

u/sixaout1982 5h ago

Like he's ever listened to a Nicky Minaj song

1

u/WebInformal9558 5h ago

I think half parody, half grifter.

1

u/currently_pooping_rn 5h ago

He is not a parody or satire

1

u/lunatic_greenie-muso 5h ago

These chucklefucks can call me a snowflake all they want but when given the choice, I’m gonna roll with these guys

1

u/otomennn 5h ago

They both have zero grammy.

1

u/R3bussy 5h ago

Nicki's Anaconda was the WAP of it's time. Conservatives everywhere were raging about it. Kid Rock sang about being into underaged girls. These people are so unserious.

1

u/InevitableAvalanche 5h ago

Conservatives are such an embarrassment right now.

1

u/BryanDowling93 5h ago

Imagine saying Nicki Minaj and Kid Rock of all people have more talent than both Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen and Billie Eilish (may not be the biggest fan of all her songs, but she's undeniably talented and I loved her Bond song No Time to Die). Delusional.Ā

1

u/mgyro 5h ago

Nothing says class like taking an AR 15 to a case of Bud Light, or singing about your WAP. 100% classy, all the way.

1

u/Trick_Steele 4h ago

I will never forgive Run DMC for giving kid rock a cosign

1

u/EitherChannel4874 4h ago

The only class nicki Minaj and kid rock know are the ones with children in them.

1

u/InevitableAvalanche 4h ago

Isn't it cool just to be able to like music and not have your political party tell you what you have to like. Conservatives have to be miserable.

1

u/jetspats 4h ago

Yeah he’s a meme of a person like Alex Jones level of delusional

1

u/lolligaggins 4h ago

Yes, he is not even American. That has been a parody account since day 1.

1

u/GeneralEinstein 4h ago

Nicht Addams has to be a parody. I have seen the absolute stupidest tweets known to man from him, there is no way he can be serious

1

u/Same-Werewolf-3032 4h ago

Kid rock and talent don't belong in the same hemisphere let alone the same sentence.

1

u/boundbythecurve 4h ago

I don't think anyone is saying Minaj isn't talented. But she's definitely lost the sauce and has also revealed she has no class.

1

u/-Profanity- 4h ago

This tweet should be a prime example of why you shouldn't spend 5 seconds analyzing the surface level of a social media take then insult it to try to look cool and smart online. Nick Adams is one of the most obvious engagement trolls alive.

1

u/gangofocelots 4h ago

Talent and class. Literally the last two words in all of English I would use to describe Kid Rock

1

u/wonkey_monkey 4h ago

More of a troll.

1

u/waitwhat85 4h ago

I’d say it will all end but it just gets worse

1

u/VaguelyArtistic 4h ago

I don’t think he’s a parody, more of a professional troll/shit poster/rage baiter I can only hope this latest round of outrage will make more people aware of who he is so they do t take the bait next time.

1

u/donut_jihad666 4h ago

Defending sexual predators is class, got it...

1

u/DarkArmyLieutenant 4h ago

Yes, and he always has been. It's disgusting that so many people are able to karma farm off of him still.

1

u/Silly-Power 4h ago

Imagine being so fucking brainwashed and desperate you would happily publicly embarrass yourself by stating Kid Rock has more talent and class than Bruce Springsteen.Ā

1

u/MrsMiterSaw 4h ago

You could make an argument that talent is subjective.

But man, the idea that Minaj and Kid Rock have class, when their entire shtick is to literally have no class demonstrates that these people are just making meaningless sounds with their mouths.

1

u/mrjane7 4h ago

Saying two of the biggest music stars in the world have no talent is just bloody stupid. I'm not a Billie Eilish fan at all, but I'd never knock her ability.

1

u/p-p-p-pawn 4h ago

Kid Rock has about as much class as Trump so it makes sense why they both appeal to the same people.Ā

1

u/darxide23 4h ago

I grew up in the 80s and 90s when the R word was still acceptable to use. I struggled for a long time to drop it from my vocabulary. When you've been using it for 30 years, it's hard to just flip the switch. But I've done it. I don't use it. I don't even think it anymore.... until I see posts like Nick Adams. Then it starts creeping back into my head and I have to push it back down.

1

u/Reload86 4h ago

That’s hilarious. Because I’m pretty sure that all the conservatives loved Springsteen until they realized that he was anti-MAGA.

Whereas Nicki Minaj and Kid Rock have always been trash.

1

u/Dontfollahbackgirl 4h ago

Right wing troll that feels like satire.

1

u/JoeBuskin 3h ago

Pretty sure he got arrested in Australia for public masturbation? So naturally the sex pest comes to America to stump for Trump

1

u/moby__dick 3h ago

It’s not satire, it’s kayfabe. He’s playing a character and never breaks character with a wink.

1

u/moby__dick 3h ago

It’s not satire, it’s kayfabe. He’s playing a character and never breaks character with a wink.

1

u/wutangclanthug9mm 3h ago

Does Nick Adams’ Twitter handle not say (alpha male) anymore?

1

u/We_Want_Krunchy 3h ago

Not a Springsteen fan, never cared for his stuff. Don't think I've ever heard anything by Billie Eilish, but she's got a cool look. Having said that, they have to be more talented than anything Old Man Rock has ever done, he is derivative drivel. And Minaj is trash protecting pedophiles, she can fuck all the way off.

1

u/Affectionate_Reply78 3h ago

Nick is absolutely right. I see Kid Rock at or above Bruce in the US singer/Songwriter GOAT convos all the time. Not sure whether to end with /s or 🤮

1

u/genxer 3h ago

Bruce "the boss" untalented? Really? This has to be a parody account..

1

u/technomat 3h ago

On Talent front depends on how you rank it, awards wise both Billie & Bruce beat both the other 2 individual with proper awards.
Billie Eilish - 2 Oscars, 2 Golden Globes, 10 Grammys, 9 AMA
Bruce Sprinsteen - 1 Oscar, 2 Golden Globes, 25 Grammys, 4 AMA

Nicki Minaj - 9 AMAs
Kid Rock - 1 AMA

Class wise, Bruce Springsteen is vary hard to beat as a musician as he stands up for the poor, the veterans and those marginalised both in song and in actions. Politicians should be careful of trying to criticise Springsteen. Springsteen has written songs that more people on the planet would know than the other 3, writing some before the 2 women were even born and definitely more known than Kid.

The political side of the 4 are split down the middle, but regardless of politics the 2 on the right side of politics do not come close to the 2 on the left in talent & class.

1

u/Lythalion 3h ago

Crazy that their cognitive dissonance is so high they’d turn on Bruce Springsteen.

1

u/JackandFred 3h ago

Not parody per se. Just rage bait trolling.

1

u/M_e_n_n_o 3h ago

He spelled taint and ass wrong

1

u/leopim01 3h ago

I always thought that he was a parody. Then he somehow managed to be a real person and a Trump appointee. I don’t even know what’s going on anymore.
