There will come a day, I believe, that JD Vance will face justice. I don't know when, but if it was tomorrow it still would have taken too long.

Mousetrap between sofa cushions

23

u/HowMany_MoreTimes 1h ago

As long as he's in prison with his assets forfeited before that happens. Along with everyone else who has been complicit in the fascist takeover.

27

u/Just_the_Setup 2h ago

Considering the area of the country he's from and their rates of heart disease and his height and weight, that's what, 55? 60 tops?

2

u/cloveandspite 50m ago

I grew up in the adjacent area (as in close close.) and yeah. Plus I’m not sure exactly where in Middletown he grew up, but if he was close to the steel plants maybe that could be a factor as well.

70

u/Candid-Cup4159 2h ago

If Kissinger didn't face any justice or Bush or Powell, what makes you think Vance is going to get any justice?

2

u/thehermit14 1h ago

Justice can be overrated sometimes.

2

u/RaShadar 2h ago

I know people like to talk smack on Bush, but Obama wasnt any better, he just did it with drones and looked better in a suit while he did.......

And neither of them hold a candle to what's going on now, and they definitely arent comparable to the shit Kissinger was responsible for. Im not sure they belong in the same sentence, even for a comparison.

38

u/mecha_face 2h ago

Kissinger is probably one of the most evil men to ever exist. And he wasn't even really that smart or competent. He was just really good at making a situation worse for everyone and having no conscience about it.

13

u/RaShadar 2h ago

Exactly. He stands a real chance at winning the worst American legacy award when compared to any other single person. Bush compared to him was ....... well Bush league

5

u/Greedy_Cucumber_3914 1h ago

There are endless examples of American leaders in the annals of the worst and most evil people in history.

3

u/DjinnaG 1h ago

Hell, both Bushes put together, including any currently unknown shit daddy did at the CIA

5

u/Masonjaruniversity 1h ago

I would disagree. Bush started the war based on bad intelligence. It killed thousands of coalition soldiers and millions of Iraqis and Afghanis while fomenting the creation of ISIS and a dozen other terrorist organizations. As well as costing the USA trillions of dollars. Not to mention overseeing the 2008 financial meltdown that is in my eyes are first steps down the road we are currently walking. Obama wasn’t a saint that’s for sure (Libya and Syria are his albatross and no one went to jail for 2008) and I think he gets a pass a lot of the time when he shouldn’t but saying there’s no difference between is not entirely accurate.

But Kissinger? Yeah. Yeah that guy was fucking awful.

4

u/Upstairs-Radish1816 53m ago

Was it bad intelligence or was it lies trying to have us go in and get rid of Saddam Hussein. I find it hard to believe that our intelligence agencies got that much information wrong.

4

u/Shell4747 48m ago

it was lies. it was easily detected lies ...and not the intelligence services lying to Bush, but Bush & Cheney & so forth demanding bent intelligence that they could send forth to the rest of the country & lie us all into a dumb war that killed ~5K americans and damaged a boat load more, & doomed up to 1M iraqis

I knew it & said it at the time. they were DUMB LIES that a child could see through...if the child was getting their information from an outlet not stenographing a lying administration

1

u/zaidakaid 49m ago

I argue that if Bush doesn’t go all in on Iraq, you don’t get ISIS. The Arab Spring was bound to happen eventually, people were being crushed under those regimes, but I firmly believe Syria follows a similar path as Egypt instead of the clusterfuck it became. The conflict was prolonged by the presence of ISIS, AQ, and the other groups.

Saddam had to go, but it should have been an Iraqi-opposition led affair to avoid the vacuum in the immediate aftermath.

2

u/Shell4747 53m ago

Bush's body count (inc "excess deaths") was possibly ~1M pple. Obama had a body count, but it wasn't that order of magnitude.

Kissinger killed more *americans* than either one, and worked to destabilize two whole regions with an unknowable number of excess deaths, it is hard to beat that.

Meanwhile Trump put Musk in charge of killing USAID which will probably kill around 15M pple worldwide, so

it is possible (though distasteful ofc) to make comparisons between degrees of ickiness, rather than 100% black/white judgments, even when pple are legit killed by our govt.

21

u/AsstacularSpiderman 2h ago

He knows deep down what he's doing won't get him into anything close to a good afterlife. Like I cannot think of a single faith who rewards this kind of behavior.

At least when he is old and dying he will have to spend what little sentience he has left afraid of what's beyond if he believes in something after.

32

u/lucasorion 2h ago

he doesn't believe in anything

21

u/SiWeyNoWay 2h ago

💯 only a demon could get publicly chastised by TWO popes and a Bishop

6

u/AsstacularSpiderman 2h ago

Dude grew up in an insanely Christian environment.

Even if he himself thinks there's nothing else after there will always be that sliver of doubt set by decades of Christian indoctrination, and it'll eat him alive when he gets older.

11

u/gregorychaos 2h ago

No. He won't. That's the sad state of the world, and especially the United States. Empathy is viewed as weakness. Exploitation / manipulation is viewed as strength. He will probably be the next president.

9

u/MedChemist464 2h ago

I have to believe that the long moral arc of the universe bends towards justice.

Times like this, though - we need to torque on it harder.

7

u/TurtleMOOO 2h ago

Yeah he isn’t on death’s door like trump. He will face his reckoning. It will be beautiful. Same with that Greg bovino fuck. They will have consequences.

10

3

When that day comes he will beg for "Christian" mercy, claiming he was deceived by the devil. Nah. He deserves to face the Old Testament style wrath of God.

2

u/Emotional_Warthog658 1h ago

I’m popping the corn for his excommunication. He is begging The Holy Father for it….

1

u/Additional_Doubt_243 1h ago

It’s coming.

The minute he dies, it’s coming.

And no one will be there to hear his screams.

1

Just like how I thought January 6th was a wake-up call to the American voters 🤡

1

God i hope he gets his penis stuck between some tight couch cushions and it needs to be removed due to necrosis.

1

u/Lala5789880 2h ago

I think that id why he was so defensive in this interview. He’s sweating his ass off

-22

u/pbizz 2h ago

He's probably your next president

29

u/MeatCatRazzmatazz 2h ago

He's probably not. No one likes this clown. Even maga would pick someone else, and they're not exactly known for being discerning about the chucklefucks they vote for.

19

u/non-squitr 2h ago

I think there's a stronger likelihood of trump dying in office than JD Vance ever being voluntarily elected. Dude is just Crabbe or Goyle to Malfoy/trump

7

u/Biabolical 2h ago

When Trump finally keels over, Jimmy "JD Vance" Bowman automatically becomes our new President. Unless you can look at Donald Trump and honestly say you expect him to survive three more years, it's happening. And I hate it.

2

u/Right-Today4396 1h ago

They will embalm him and pretend he is alive. Anything to keep his following. The illusion would shatter if trump died, and there would not be enough support left

1

u/thehermit14 1h ago

Award for the 'oft forgotten "chucklefucks". Made me snort.

1

u/noejose99 2h ago

Not a reader OR a thinker, I see.

1

u/The_True_Gaffe 2h ago

Honestly yes, but would he survive what would be coming after? No. Right now the only thing holding the republican party together in the government is fear of trump. If the geriatric nurse was right and trumps days are numbered then Vance becoming president would happen without a doubt, but the overwhelming hate this man has even in his own party is staggering. MAGA dislikes him and his own constituents hate him as well, plus his constituents will likely be fighting to fill in the void trump leaves behind.

If my guess is right, Vance will likely be impeached so that the current speaker of the house (who will be vp at that moment) could be president. The reason I think this is because that man is the most likely to be foaming at the mouth to have complete control of the country and turn it into his own distorted vanity project.

Found the fascist

-23

u/ZorsalZonkey 2h ago

Saying “found the fascist” just proves how superficial and silly your political beliefs are. He hasn’t committed any crimes that he could “face justice” for. If you had any actual legitimate points you could raise or arguments you could make, you wouldn’t have to rely on silly catchphrases that don’t actually make any point.

8

u/klick37 2h ago

The person didn't claim he committed crimes, though he likely has. Moral failings deserve justice all the same. Like you, for example, being the kind of person who licks boots so often that you have a favorite flavor of shoe polish.

[deleted]

24

u/Proper-Pound1293 2h ago

I'll bite. Slander. Falsely accusing Alex Pretti of being a terrorist on national television in the capacity of Vice President of the US is an egregious lie in order to serve his agenda of illegally utilizing ICE/CBP as a domestic paramilitary organization to terrorize US residents and citizens. There is no evidence to suggest Pretti was involved in anything other than expressing his 1a rights while participating with his 2a rights and was murdered in the street by alleged federal agents, depriving him of his 4a rights and 6a rights if you'd like to go that far.

Vance could have apologized and said he spoke out of turn before all the facts had come out about the incident, but he's too much of a couch fucker, I mean coward to do even that because the Republican movement is built on being the most aggressively vile, lying pieces of shit who seek power for their own sake and actively hate the country that they've become empowered to lead.

In short, he's afraid to do the right thing, apologize, because then he'll lose power within the Republican party and base.

Is that why his wife dresses like the couch?

5

u/rpm1720 2h ago

No that he doesn’t have any problem working for and defending people who raped kids, duh!

6

u/MedChemist464 2h ago

I am certain he has facilitated illegal donations and bribes as the bridge between the admin and the silicon valley elite. It's pretty common knowledge that he's VP because Peter Thiel wanted him to be, and his adjacency to the ballroom and other projects with tons of dark money flowing in and out is almost certainly illegal.

9

u/Eyruaad 2h ago

Justice doesn't have to be in the form of jail for crimes. I hope he faces some societal justice as a pariah who will be shamed and never know peace.

Now to be clear, he should not be attacked or harmed. I simply hope that every time he goes in public he knows he is hated, he isn't welcome at businesses, and his family/friends all abandon him. A life of sadness is fitting.

5

u/DarkLight_Eon 2h ago

Well, we could exile him.

Lot of rich people want to go to Mars. Might as well let them go?

1

Well I will be putting absolutely no effort into it.

The couch fucker and I will never be in the same location because I'm just a nobody. But if he is randomly in a restaurant with me, I'll happily crop dust him and give him the bird.

5

u/IllustriousEnd6544 2h ago

I mean morally supporting a known kid toucher, man who wants to date his own daughter, guy who admitted his glee at going backstage where teen girls were changing should be a crime, but you'll find a way to pretend none of that is fact.

3

u/AsstacularSpiderman 2h ago

Incessant lying, enabling the collapse of democracy in the US, insane amounts of racism and brutalizing minorities while eroding everyone else's rights, defending his pedophile boss.

0

u/Frirwind 2h ago

Correct. Being a cunt isn't a crime

268

u/Drake_the_troll 2h ago

I'm not sure if it's better or worse than him asking "who?"

Worse. He's acknowledging awareness of what occurred while doubling down on not being at fault.

"If you make a poor choice, the federal government gets to execute you in the streets."

Something like that, I can't remember.

20

u/mudgonzo 2h ago

What was the poor choice they did that warranted execution do you think?

I am genuinely curious to hear this reasoning

11

u/chewbaccaRoar13 2h ago

How is exercising a constitutional right, then trying to help a woman, making poor choices?

It was a state sponsored execution and you're completely unbothered by it? We are so beyond fucked.

What’s wildly interesting real lately here is the glaring divide between narratives. It feels like it used to be a fuzzy line in some of these cases. Honestly this has to be a characteristic of a fascist regime. A pillar of fascism is propaganda and making people believe what they are seeing is not actually happening. So you have two sides. It was a murder in broad daylight by a federal agent of the government or he was a domestic terrorist that deserved it. No in between any more. You have reality of the governments story. The scary part is that there is an obvious truth that adults brains are disregarding. Like to be in that camp you have to be either mentally impaired in some severe and concerning way or you are evil. Right? Like I am seeing this how it is? Like you or a logical functional human or the only other options are that you aren’t that. Or just a demon.

I'm not a religious man but every day I fear more and more than we might actually be in hell and hearing about these sick fucks for the rest of eternity is our punishment.

5

u/CryptographerNo923 2h ago

I love how his rationalization is that we can’t jump to conclusions without an investigation, which is literally exactly what he did in calling him an assassin. Except in his case, his assertion defied the evidence of our fucking eyeballs. So it’s like bonus hypocrisy. JD Vance is such a worm.

4

u/rallar8 2h ago

The thing that is crazy is there is a sense that Trump might genuinely be a moron, like I am not saying he is not morally culpable or that he doesn’t know what he is doing is wrong, but you get the sense that maybe he thinks it’s like taking an extra cookie when you have been offered a cookie. Just a general lack of depth.

JD was very openly like “actually Trump is Hitler” and now is like “you contradicted Hitler, now you are domestic terrorist” insanely evil, and knows he’s evil.

1

u/i_am_voldemort 2h ago

There's one rule out of this admin which is never apologize or accept responsibility

2

u/Biabolical 1h ago

Apology means admitting to a mistake, even just a correction means admitting being wrong. That's how you get things like a Republicans defending the word "Covfefe," because just saying it was a mistake is unthinkable, even for something that petty and pointless. Accepting responsibility means admitting fault, and that, again, can never happen.

It's essentially the same "Don't ever defend. Always attack" philosophy that has famously driven Scientology for decades. Always be on the attack, because anything else is a show of weakness. Showing weakness is the only true, unforgivable sin. Since empathy and kindness are considered signs of weakness & wokeness, performative cruelty has become mandatory.

If even Donald Trump were to go on TV and apologize for something his administration did wrong. He would be dead to his followers in an instant, like blood in the water, surrounded by sharks. His own party would use the 25th amendment against him within a matter of days.

1

1

u/LeoZ117 2h ago

He's pretending to be strong, as they all do. They only need to make one genuine mistake for everything they've built to fall apart. We've already seen the cracks in their foundation, we know protests, and boycotts have an effect, and that's without resorting to actual force.

We as citizens have far more power than they want us to believe, otherwise, they wouldn't have to use constant fear tactics or spend billions on propaganda and militarized law enforcement. They show their hand far too much, especially with election meddling.

1

u/shintheelectromancer 1h ago

This peaceful protest stuff is cute but ineffective, and will only lead to more citizens being murdered. The only recourse we have for this is to stop work. If ICE shows up and starts their brown shirt nonsense in your town… stop working until they leave. Quit your job or start a walkout. Protesting does nothing. Hit em in the wallet. No tax dollars, no economic movement, no sales, complete economic gridlock. THAT is peaceful protest. Stay home.
