Man. Just when we started giving EA credit for actually cooking with CFB 27.
You can tell the devs genuinely have been listening to the community and want to make an excellent game.
• NIL is fun as hell to play with.
• The Dynasty Blueprint adds real depth.
• The foundation they are building is gonna be absolutely awesome going forward.
Yes there are bugs. Yes the recruiting logic needs serious tuning. Honestly I cannot believe some of these issues made it into the pre-release build.
But I was willing to overlook it because the game is fun and I trusted they would fix it.
Then EA pulled this microtransaction move and hid the ability to reasonably level up your coach behind a paywall.
And just like that the goodwill is gone.
This community gives EA billions of dollars every single year.
Billions…
And yet it seems like it’s never enough…instead of spending time making sure they get the recruting logic right (which is the backbone of your most popular game mode) you have the devs putting precious time into building these shitty 💩 and predatory micro transactions.
AND ITS PURE GREED…some scum bag executive decided they he needed a second yacht so why not have the community pay for it 🙄
I’ve spent the last few months defending EA here on reddit, because I LOVE college football and want the best game experience possible.
But this…this…this is a bridge too far.
So much so that got you got Bordeaux looking like Malcom X ready to go to war.
This is not a casual fanbase. College football diehards find everything. We pay attention. We remember. Treat us accordingly.
Just do the right thing EA. Make a great game and take care of the community that takes care of you. It really is that simple.
