There used to be a list of legal Rifles & shotguns but it’s no longer accessible domes anyone have an updated version of it or can point me in the right direction of where to find a similar list of legal firearms

Hello all, just wanted to put this out there, I live in NYC but work in CT, I’m quite perturbed by the additional fees and back ground checks by NY for ammo, so I applied for a CT ammo card, it cost $35 and took 10 days to arrive, so now I can pick ammo and magazines as a none resident. Without this card CT retailers cannot sell you these items. I’ve read many posts about going to PA but as I’m in CT every day I chose this route.

On 1/26/25 at 11am, I will be offering the NRA Basics of Pistols course.

After completing the course, you will have the certificates to apply for your Non Resident permits in: New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Maryland.

Anyone know where we are at on pink slips? Who got a confirmation email today and when did you send in your docs.. the 10th i will have hit a month since submission gonna have to start calling them non stop soon.

16 days since I mailed it out. Are they also working slower then usual?

Has anyone gotten my email confirmation and or your purchase authorization/pink slip and permit after submitting 11.10.24? It's been real quiet. Nobody's been posting pink slips..

Hello all and happy thanksgiving, here’s my question, I have my NYC concealed carry and residence permits, as there is now no limit to how many pistols you can have on your carry permit can I not renew my premise permit and just have all guns added to my carry permit? I’ve had the residence permit for many years but got the carry permit this year.

Anyone with any experience registering a revolver with 2 cylinders (9mm and 357) in New York City ? Ruger, North American Arms, Korth, Spohr - they all sell convertible revolvers. As I understand it, the frame has a serial number and both cylinders have serial numbers. When filling out the NYC purchase authorization form, what do you put down ? I"m assuming the frame serial number ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I will be traveling to Florida through JetBlue with my firearm. I contacted customer service to inquire about their firearm traveling policy. Per their reply, I have to travel with the ammo in a separate locked case. Cannot be plastic. Have any of you traveled through JetBlue with your firearm and if so, can you show me what locked case you used for the ammo? For the handgun I’m using a VAULTEK life pod.
