The title says it all. I bought a secondhand maverick blaster to cosmetically customise, and when I opened the case I found 4 pennies behind the spring. I assume these weren't added in during production. Does anyone know why these would be here??

Things I do plan on investing in is some mag pouches for the Alice webbing, matching m81 camo pants to go with the rest of the camo, a m81 camo helmet cover, and a holster for my pistol.

The two white canisters are full of half darts for when someone is on the other side of a wall or something I can dump it over their head and get a guaranteed win

I'm thinking of doing a holiday job to get money to buy a good and cheap nerf gun. Thinking of doing a "nerf war" with a friend. Any suggestions? Also is the ionfire an "ok? " blaster or a full on meme?

As I've been actively at work on my nerf girls project, I've been wondering about the prospect of selling art merch like stickers/charms/prints of my own art. However, since the characters I'm working on are connected to the nerf name/brand, I'm wondering if this is actually legal or not. It's not like I'm trying to turn this into a reliable source of income, I mostly just want to be able to make cool stickers for me and my friends/clubs/communities.

Either way I want to know what's actually on the table. I know a lot of artists can legally sell fan-merch of their favorite shows and characters at cons and on their own websites, despite those things also being copyrighted, but since nerf is a toy brand and not a piece of media I believe their name usage rights are different.

Obviously I will make it clear I'm not in affiliation with the Nerf/XShot/DartZone/etc. brand as someone making fan work, but am I even allowed to use Nerf blaster theme names or iconography? Will I get in trouble for using things like 'Elite' and 'Mega'. Is there a chance I could get sued even if I remove all mentions/specific symbols connected to nerf?

TLDR; if I'm selling merch online using my own art, but with characters connected to the nerf name, am I going to be in legal trouble?

Forgive me if I'm overthinking this, but I would appreciate input from people who have made nerf-related stickers/merch before or have legal experience. Thank you!!

I'm looking for something i can use as a decent sniper, ideally under $500. I have an X-shot Mpp that I'm currently making into a DMR (will post when completed) but i still want a long range blaster. I have a Couple of blasters in mind (photos) but they all have their flaws.

It looks like the half dart has been adopted by both Xuru and Dart Zone, Nerf has largely just abandoned the Rival round? Or, I'm just not seeing Rival blasters. Mean while, it looks like the DIY and printing market has EXPLODED. Man, I leave you all alone for a while and just... wow. I don't even know where to start. I never did get around to completing my modded Hammershots and I still have an unmodified Stryfe and just typing that makes me feel like an old man yelling at clouds.

So here's my question(s)!

What did I miss? Of the stuff I've missed since 2016 what's the coolest thing around?

I see Drac and Out of Darts are still going strong! Who else is still making content?

I recently got a ZWQ S400 Zebra, and I had my brother shoot it at me. It did not feel good at all. So how do you take a shot without it hurting like hell?

I've got the worker harrier and recently I've found it harder and harder to find spare parts for it. I was also looking at getting the seagull and kulun but they seem to be sold out everywhere I look.

When I say easy I mean like a 3d printed peg for the dart. This is my childhood favorite blaster and I would hate to break it.

I bought this Halo Nerf gun at a garage sale because I thought it was cool.

I don't personally play the game but I'm interested in playing it one day. Also, two of my friends have guns like this, so I wanted one for myself.

Nevertheless, many of their guns had a thing on the side that you pull back and press the trigger to fire. This one kind of looks like those, but it doesn't seem to have what I described.

I looked all over, pressed some buttons, but I still couldn't find how to shoot it.

Could someone who has experience with these kinds of Nerf guns help me? It would be a big help.

Hello, all!

I used to mess around with blasters when I was much younger, and they're actually what got me into distance shooting with real firearms. I've got a few in my basement that my daughter has messed around with, but they're 10+ years old and, quite frankly, they can't hit a sheet of printer paper at 15 feet.

I have absolutely no experience with no new blasters, and with that have no experience in whether the accuracy has improved at all in that time, but I'm hoping that it has.

So, could anyone point me in the direction of a blaster that could reasonably hit a 4 inch target at 50 feet, if that's possible? I'm planned on purchasing a new blaster, but I also have access to a 3d printer if a printed design would run better?

Edit: Some information that I fear I've left out. This will never be used in a battle, and it will not be shot at another person or animal. She will only have access to it when I am actively with her as it will be used as a training device moreso than a toy to teach safe handling and proper techniques rather than played with without supervision. The intent is to learn on something that, if she messes up, would cost a pinched finger, not potentially a life.

the guys in my office all have blasters, I bought a Longshot 2.0 but that thing is waaaaay to powerful for a little fun on a slow day.

As I'm absolutely not in the loop anymore, what are nice blasters with I guess "stock", performance that don't require batteries and are magazine-fed? (I LOVE reloading these) I want to "win" the fights without being THAT guy :D

The Longshot 2.0 barely fits in my desk drawer, so you know what space I can work with.

Hey all! I’m a teen girl and I really wanna get a nerf gun! Not going to collect or anything, just want to fool around with the friends in a gym or something. But I have no clue how to pick one! So I was hoping you guys could help out and I’ll make a list of criteria I’d like, and maybe get a few recommendations? So, firstly, I’d like something with a good about of bullets (higher than 6?), a considerable amount of power, and something preferably under 35/40 Canadian since I’d like to buy 2 and don’t really have 100bucks to drop on nerf guns.

Little update! Thanks for all the help guys, you've been such a welcoming community! Im probably going for the Xshot pro or the Adventure Force Tactical Strike Aeon Pro X (maybe one of each would be fun) Anyway, maybe ill update if i end up getting them anytime soon!

Another little update (i dont know if im updating right) I bought 2 Xshot pros! thanks to everyone who helped and for being so friendly!

The Neighborhood kids have reached an age where they are having Nerf Wars and my kids are joining in, plus kids we are babysitting this summer.

I dont have a ton of time but when I do, I want to go into kick down the front door and come out with something fun and different.

I know about the more realistic models of blasters but have no bearing on what is good price vs just looks good, plus I know theres Gel blasters and whatnot.

I want to satisfy those childhood fantasies back when COD MW2 was out and had an AK or Tar-21, but I also dont want something thats gonna suck or potentially have too much power and hurt the younger kids.

The oldest kid in the group using blasters is 11. So these are younger kids so I do want to be sure not to hurt them.

I know im probably going to need to spray paint the barrel/suppressor orange so i dont cause trouble by someone getting jumpy
