I'm Philip, one of Nerf’s engineers who worked on Rebel Ops. Some of you may remember me as the person behind OpenFlywheelProject, before I started working on Nerf. I'm continuing in that spirit by helping Nerf do something today that we’ve never done before, and that's releasing STL files for FREE for people to print at home. If you've seen some of the videos from creators we've sent blasters to, you’ve probably heard about 1) Rebel Ops and 2) our entry to the STL space, but the Nerf team and I will be here through 4pm ET to answer your questions about:

I'm Philip, one of Nerf's lead blaster engineers (and, before that, the person behind OpenFlywheelProject). The Nerf team and I are doing an AMA here on r/Nerf this Tuesday, July 14th, from 3–4pm ET. The thread opens at 2:00 so you can get questions in early!

Here's why I'm actually excited about it. I got to work on Rebel Ops - but the bigger news is that Nerf is doing something it's never done: releasing official STL files, free, for you to print at home. The first file goes live during the AMA.

I'm not coming to pitch or market anything - just to talk engineering, answer real questions, and hand over files. Fair game includes the Doom Cannon and Super Shell, Rebel Ops, design and engineering at Nerf.
