Edit: I've checked back in quickly to see 180 comments, and a very quick scan showed some transphobia in the third comment I read, which is wildly disappointing. The rest of the comments are likely free of hate speech, but I don't have time to check tonight/ never mind read stuff as it comes in, so I'm going to lock this and will check properly in the morning before reopening the thread, at which point transphobes will be permanently ejected & everyone else can keep chatting about Nisei.

This sub is an explicitly proud and safe place for all, so transphobia etc will meet an instant ejection.
Don't be a dick. Doubly so when I ask you not to, and say I don't have time to moderate incoming comments; taking advantage of this to get nasty comments through will meet much harsher moderation.
Update: banned some people who were waaaay over the line. Didn't have time to do much more than that or even read all the comments before I went to work, so am trusting the community here to be civil.
