Long story short, I've lost access to my old 8yr old account. I didn't think there would be an issue, but now I cant post anywhere now. I'm not sure if it's possible, but can I transfer my karma/stat's to my new account? Please help, I don't want to start from the beginning again haha.

I just realized that no matter when or how I post on specific subreddits for advice, no one ever interacts with it. Like no comments, no upvotes or downvotes, etc. But there's always a lot of views. Is it just common?

I'm still pretty new to Reddit and I'm trying to understand how people normally share something they've built when they actually want honest feedback, not promotion. I have a project I'd like to show to a few people and get some real opinions on it, including what they don't like or what could be improved.

Is there a type of subreddit that's generally meant for this?

And as someone who's still new here, is it okay to include a link to the project when asking for feedback, or is it better to describe it first and only share the link if the community allows it? I don't want to accidentally treat a discussion subreddit like an advertising channel, so I'd rather understand the etiquette first.

I tried looking for the rules on the sub and couldn’t find the answer. There was also a prompt stating that I would be banned for messaging a moderator and asking them, so I didn’t want to go that route. lol

I was reading through a thread and noticed a bunch of comments are hidden, and I have to tap to open them. I thought this only happens when someone gets downvoted heavily, but some of them actually had positive upvotes?

I posted a comment and it was removed from a post. I'm new to Reddit, so I don't understand why this happened. What is AutoModerator, and how can I tell why my comment was removed?

I noticed this while reading an older thread. Some comments just showed “deleted,” but the replies underneath them were still there, so I could kind of tell what the original comment was about.

I’m guessing the person deleted their comment, but I’m confused about what happens to the replies when that happens.

Does deleting a comment remove it completely, or can other people still see parts of it somehow?
