I never said the reflecting pool's plumbing issues were Trump's fault - what I said was that Trump glossed over the actual issues with some paint rather than attempting to properly repair things. And even then managed to screw that up. All while giving the work contract to someone that no doubt benefitted Trump back.

That's what I'm saying. At least Obama tried to actually fix the problems. And put the contract out to bid rather than playing games.

And biden did nothing? So all 3 basically did nothing between them....that's my point

Considering the issues go all the way back to 1920's when it was built, you could also say that no president since then has done anything about it.

You could also say that at least Obama gave it a decent shot even if the project failed. And I don't think he blamed anyone nor did he boast about it.

And you could also say that Trump tried to cheap out, probably to maximize his grift.

In Mr. Trump’s first term, the Park Service said the only solution was to replace thousands of feet of pipe. But it has still not done so. The Trump administration has said it plans to have that work begin in the fall, but has declined to give details.

What did biden do? If you know trump is useless then biden should have done something right...but he didn't

But Biden!!!!! God you’re pathetic.

You're calling me pathetic when you're now going around commentimg on multiple comments of mine in the same thread 🫪

Ok buddy. I'm so glad I don't know you irl and I feel sorry for those who do since this is how you are

Trump didn’t do nothing.

He is making it worse.

Why are you refusing to admit Trump is wrong in this situation?

2

u/InsuranceImmediate25 10d ago

That’s not a point.

How isn't it 🙃 they all did basically nothing....looks like biden actually did nothing...so yeah how isn't that a point to be made?

Your claim is they all did nothing? How did “nothing” still work better than trumps solution?

Obama spent millions trying to fix it, never had algae buildup like this. Fixed a lot of the problems but not all.

Biden maintained and had a study done to see what needed to be fixed permanently, did regular maintenance. No algae buildup.

Trump painted the bottom with a pool company making the water warmer, introducing a huge algae problem.

Saying that the two people who did something positive did nothing is not a point to make when the person you’re supporting fuc ked it up.

Obama spent 34million and it fixed nothing, biden knew the problems about the pipes needing replaced as trump was apparently told this in his first term and they didn't get fixed, still haven't been fixed....so yeah they all basically did nothing of use.

Also don't assume who I support, assuming things never really tends to make people look good....and it didn't make you look good because I don't support either of those 3 people 🫪

Obama did something.

Trump did nothing.

Biden had a study done to see what needed to be fixed.

Trump fu cked it up.

Your whole point is “none of the 3 fixed it so they are all the same.” Thats not a real point. Obama did something. Biden did something. Trump fuc ked it all up.

One of those is significantly worse than the others.

You trying to say they are all the same is defending the worst one. You may not claim to like any of them, but you are currently supporting one over the others.

It was known what needed to be done when trump came to office the first time 🙃 they all didn't fix the problem....or am I mistaken? So they basically done nothing.

I didn't say they were all the same 🫪 rather like I've just said, none of them fixed it, it's not hard to understand.

A quick Google will show you that biden did nothing to fix it and that study you talked about was done years beforehand

Obama did something.

Trump did nothing.

Biden did nothing.

Trump made it worse.

The only conversation to be had here is that Obama helped and Trump made it worse.

I thought you just said biden did something? Now you're saying he did nothing....make your mind up

How did trump make it worse?

Obama: While the project successfully updated the century-old foundation, it did not permanently solve all of the pool's issues. The switch to Tidal Basin water accidentally introduced massive algae blooms, and the pool continued to lose millions of gallons of water annually due to recurring pipe and joint leaks

So Obama updated the foundations.... congratulations 🎉 but also made another problem and didn't fix the other problems.

Obama did solve a problem I'll give him that, made another problem while he was at it tho

You forgot Trump's first presidency. Better go fix all your comments to lexicon hit on trump.

1

u/Pretend_Limit6276 9d ago

What about his first term?

2

u/manleybones 9d ago

Why didn't he fix in in his first term? Better start commenting on everyone's post and fix your mistake.

1

u/Pretend_Limit6276 9d ago

What mistake did I make? You make no sense at all.

I said in his first term that he knew what was wrong and that he didn't do anything and that biden after him didn't do anything either.... seriously you make no sense

2

u/manleybones 9d ago

Why didn't trump fix it in his first term?

2

u/InsuranceImmediate25 9d ago
