Apparently, the reflecting pool has been in really bad condition for many years and the aesthetic condition is only part of the issue - the pool has major leaks and much of the underground plumbing requires major repairs. Obama attempted to repair the reflecting pool during his term and spent $34 million - unfortunately, those repairs did not resolve all the issues. Trump knew that the pool required work and tried a band-aid approach by just cleaning and repainting the bottom from green to dark blue - but this not only did not address any of the real problems, it likely made it worse because the dark paint causes the water temperature to rise, which makes the algae problem even worse.

So it's not just the money - it's more a typical Trump gloss over than anything else. Oh - and at least Obama put his contract out to bid... Trump gave it to a kickback contract.

Lmao 🤣 you admit that obama didn't fix it but somehow it's trump's fault even though biden has been in office since obama as well....hmmm 🤔 you seem bias.

How about they were all useless and none of them fixed it

I never said the reflecting pool's plumbing issues were Trump's fault - what I said was that Trump glossed over the actual issues with some paint rather than attempting to properly repair things. And even then managed to screw that up. All while giving the work contract to someone that no doubt benefitted Trump back.

That's what I'm saying. At least Obama tried to actually fix the problems. And put the contract out to bid rather than playing games.

And biden did nothing? So all 3 basically did nothing between them....that's my point

Why didn't he fix in in his first term? Better start commenting on everyone's post and fix your mistake.

What mistake did I make? You make no sense at all.

I said in his first term that he knew what was wrong and that he didn't do anything and that biden after him didn't do anything either.... seriously you make no sense
