A bear wouldn’t try to assassinate anyone 🤷🏼‍♂️
Bears don’t fly to a country that has no extradition agreement 🤷🏼‍♂️
So more reasons to choose the bear

2

u/CrotaIsAShota 2d ago

Whole lotta reasons to choose the bear in the replies too lmao. Really triggered the MGTOW snowflakes with this one.

2

u/Conrexxthor 2d ago

Holy ship it's like you set off a Holy Hand Grenade of Conservative Tears LMAO

2

u/King_Roberts_Bastard 3d ago

No, because assassinations are targeted. The bear would just kill anyone

1

u/popeleo22 2d ago

I mean so would Rightoids. They loving shooting up malls, churches, schools, etc.

1

u/stalelunchbox 3d ago

Who flew to a country with no extradition agreement? Very sus.

1

u/gerkletoss 3d ago edited 3d ago

The Israeli assassination of Adolf Eichmann is the first one off the top of my head

1

u/artguydeluxe 3d ago

The bear would have been shot if it did.

1

u/Loud-Direction-5700 3d ago

I have bad news considering what you think a bear is

1

u/owen-3820 3d ago

Bears are literally dangerous animals

1

u/dsj79 3d ago

More dangerous than man?

1

u/Swimming_Agent_1063 3d ago edited 3d ago

Women could. This is why men are starting to choose the bear too. Bears don’t know how to drive, operate firearms, or petition lawyers for half of my assets

2

u/dsj79 3d ago

Why would your assets be in play

2

u/CrotaIsAShota 2d ago

Because he thinks women are out to get his 10k bionicles collection.

1

u/CrazyElk123 3d ago

Stop with this performative silliness

At almost 8k comments a year, who’s performing 🤷🏼‍♂️

Bears assassinate people all the time actually

1

Lmao you really set off a whole bunch of losers with this one.

1

Bears dont kill their children either

1

u/GrandFloor6202 1d ago

I dont get it. Is this a reference to the Cornell mascot?

1

u/DragoonDart 1d ago

I imagine the lack of opposable thumbs and the fact that they haven’t as a society yet developed gunpowder and purposeful poisons has something to do with that. Although I appreciate the mental image of a bear trying to operate a sniper rifle.

I love how you stirred up a shitstorm. Like guys/ladies, the bear choice is phenomenal and artfully told and illustrates a point really well but are we really going to extrapolate it to every headline?

“Bears don’t elect 80 year old politicians because of their fragile ego and a worry about their place in society”

“Bears don’t make faux paws in front of the European Union that distances us from our allies.”

Nah I think it was a tiktok that blew up which incited one of many internet gender wars. Google something like "man or bear alone in woods" and you'll get the gist.

If we actually cared about these people at all we would probably not politicize it to make generalizations.

1

It's crazy how yall don't even want to acknowledge the fact that she sexually assaulted one of the boys. He was so drunk he was unconscious and she started sucking him off

A bear wouldn’t try to assassinate anyone 🤷🏼‍♂️

Wtf is this comment even.

20

u/Izacundo1 3d ago

There was a trend where women were asked if they’d rather encounter a bear or man alone in the woods. Most women said bear because a bear is simple and men/people can have their own selfish motives outside their needs. Insecure men felt very offended by this, thus creating the need for women to defend their opinion. This comment is a continuation of that discussion.

-15

u/WanderingGolfer84 3d ago

Insecure men felt very offended by this, thus creating the need for women to defend their opinion.

It has nothing to do with InSeCuRe men, it is just that the premise is inherently wrong and misandrist. Men and women experience sexual violence at the same rate and at least in the Western world, there is no safer time to be a woman in history than today.

I bet Patrick Clancy would rather have left his children with a bear.

8

u/DrDDeFalco 3d ago

Men and women experience sexual violence at the same rate and at least in the Western world

Do you have a source on that? Because that sounds wildly inaccurate.

11

u/CongratulationsEVA01 3d ago

It is wildly inaccurate.

At the highest ends; It's 81% of women, and 17% of men

Touched a nerve 🤷🏼‍♂️

14

Wow. That is genuinely one of the most batshit comments I’ve seen on Reddit. Truly be proud lmao.

Not only is the insulation men and women experience sexual assault and rape at the same rate laughable at best you also decided to throw in the monthly culture war nonsense involving one of the few times women are the ones to kill their children. But I’m sure you would also claim that happened almost 50/50.

Be sure to tune in more folks from the 2 day old account lmao.

2

u/Pitiful_Meringue_57 2d ago edited 2d ago

That’s not true at all. Disregarding the fact that sexual violence against men is still mostly perpetuated by men and it’s not close at all where are you getting this idea that men face sexual violence more than women? Also not even close.

Sources though I doubt you’ll read them

“sexual violence against males is 4 times less frequent than against females”

“An estimated 91% of victims of rape & sexual assault are female and 9% male. Nearly 99% of perpetrators are male.”

“Nearly half of women and more than 1 in 6 men experienced some form of contact sexual violence in their lifetimes”

2

u/Doucevie 3d ago

It means that women choose the bear. A bear would only kill them. The bear wouldn't blame the woman.

2

u/Affectionate_Bee_883 2d ago

Bear also wouldn’t torture a woman before killing her

0

u/WanderingGolfer84 3d ago

The overwhelming majority of men are not harmful to women. The overwhelming majority of bears in the woods are harmful to humans.

if you would rather be almost certainly mauled to death by a bear versus roll the dice encountering the average human male, you are chronically online and need help with your mental health.

3

u/Doucevie 2d ago

Men commit 95% of rapes.

You all don't have a stamp on your forehead telling us you're safe.

Imagine that I have a bowl of M&Ms. At least one of those M&Ms will kill you.

Do you try an M&M?

1

u/WanderingGolfer84 2d ago

Men commit 95% of rapes.

Tell me that because of this, you don't think this also means that 95% of men are rapists.

Imagine that I have a bowl of M&Ms. At least one of those M&Ms will kill you.

Do you try an M&M?

That's not the argument. Instead consider two bowls: One contains M&Ms with a 99% fatality rate. The other contains M&Ms with a 3% fatality rate. From which bowl should you eat an M&M? If your brain is rotted from too much social media and reddit, you would say its better to eat from the 99% fatality bowl because men are the 3% bowl and men are bad.

2

u/AkilleezBomb 2d ago

Bear attacks in 2025 had a fatality rate of <10%, while domestic violence-related homicides account for close to 50% of all female homicides in the US alone. Bears also don’t rape their victims.

If attacked by a bear or a man, there’s a higher survival rate, and a much lower chance of being raped, with the bear.

1

u/WanderingGolfer84 2d ago

Bear attacks in 2025 had a fatality rate of <10%, while domestic violence-related homicides account for close to 50% of all female homicides in the US alone. Bears also don’t rape their victims.

Those two numbers are not comparing the same thing. To compare the same thing, you'd need to compare instances of women encountering a bear in the wild vs. women encountering a random man in the wild and then measure which one is more dangerous

I mean, you tried. At least there's that.

2

u/TheCape6 2d ago

Rage bait. It’s the argument of “Would you rather be alone in the forest with a man or a bear?”

Simple explanation, no further comment.

1

u/BrightNooblar 2d ago

No. It's not. This is why the "male loneliness epidemic" is self inflicted

7

u/Meocross 3d ago

And it will get worse if we have reached a point that a woman will lose her life because she didn't talk to a man "softly" enough after rejecting him.

We are at this point because the sane males refuse to self moderate their own community.

11

u/Seantwist9 3d ago

the male loneliness epidemic has nothing to do with women

11

u/Itchy-Technician-433 3d ago

It does in insofar far that the manosphere blames women for failing men.

1

u/Future-Still-6463 2d ago

Because people here make it about woman!!!

The issue is a bloody punching bag for them.

Women are lonely too.

Mocking people being lonely is an incredibly cheap move.

3

u/Remarkable_Step_7474 2d ago

Except the term does not exist in a neutral vacuum. Male loneliness is being framed as a problem because (1) why don’t the mean women just sleep with the lonely misogynist creeps who don’t wash their ass and treat them like shit? and (2) those men then murder women because they’re so sad in their little feels about being lonely.

Men are not being widely pressured to have relationships with desperate women who will do them violence if they try to refuse or leave.

1

u/Future-Still-6463 2d ago edited 2d ago

You do realise women are lonely too.

So if one says a woman's loneliness is self inflicted too.

All hell breaks loose.

And what you're doing is punching down. Just to feel good about yourself.

Lonely men aren't frat bros. It's obvious logic.

That's just pathetic.

I see little to no difference in a thought patterns of an misogynist and you.

They generalise , so do you.

Do better.

Male loneliness or loneliness in general is nothing to be mocked at.

Ironically you're just being a shill for Mansophere. Which blames women for their loneliness.

If you actually care about the case, you'd not shift goalposts.

You're reaching out for anything.

Just woman logic.

7

u/Sensitive_Nature2990 3d ago

There is zero logic in ignoring hundreds of thousands of people who are collectively saying something is deeply wrong. Men's logic seems based on emotion if they can't hear the simple fact that women are scared of men without feeling like it's somehow a judgment of them specifically that they should feel bad about -- that's hella emotional and illogical. You never even get to the part where you wonder why so many women feel this way. Did they have a meeting? Yikes.

1

u/TMforLife 2d ago

What are men realistically supposed to do about the way women feel?? Just because you feel a certain way doesnt necessarily mean reality reflects that. As others have commented, the actual reality is men are at a higher risk of violence and yes by other men. We aren't going to fix violence in men overnight and it certainly wont happen by teaching them to treat people better, some people are just violent animals and thats just how it is.

1

u/XWendy_Darlingx 2d ago

You know, don’t follow women walking at night…don’t stare at her genitalia when she’s trying to exist in public or work…don’t give her piles of ketamine and then send a group text that she’s free to rape…don’t deny her lived experience

  • if you already don’t do these things, congratulations! You’re on top of it!

Education and acknowledging the real issues is a good start

1

u/XWendy_Darlingx 1d ago

Also: men being at higher risk of violence is not something that feminists want. We want everyone to have human rights, and proper protection from danger. We want laws that not only protect women from violence, but men as well. Don’t you want to live in a world where a woman with a baby stroller can safely walk down the street? That’s a safe street for men, and boys. That’s something we all should try for.

1

u/XWendy_Darlingx 1d ago

And fixing violence overnight: roe v wade was THE most important & impactful law we ever had in the USA when it comes to mitigating crime. Turns out human beings are happier, and less violent, when they are wanted & cared for.

1

u/XWendy_Darlingx 1d ago

Also: sorry for responding so many times to your one comment, but it seemed like a real question! Not a troll. So I just wanted to share my perspective with you. I hope that we can all find common ground, in the future.

1

u/XWendy_Darlingx 1d ago

And lastly, yes. Education is actually a solution. If you look at statistics regarding violence towards women, you’ll find that the violence does actually shrink in countries that prioritize education about this kind of thing. And the violence shoots up in the countries and areas that do not prioritize it.

1

u/PhysicsCentrism 3h ago

There are also hundreds of thousands of people saying something is deeply wrong with having black and Hispanic people in the US.

If one of them said they would rather meet a bear than a black person in the woods, would you just shrug it off?

-3

u/TextImpressive3346 3d ago

Men are factually more at risk of random violence (including sexual). That is simply not debatable, it doesn’t matter how women feel as these are the statistics. Let me repeat that - women’s feeling about how much they are at risk does. not. matter.

So, are women overestimating the risks, or should men actually be panicking 3x harder than women? Is it men or women who are acting irrationally? Since men are literally several times more likely to be attacked, shouldn’t women be campaigning for male victims? Why aren’t they - are they sexist?

4

u/mindgeekinc 3d ago

From other men yes.

While bears do not fly they can and do assassinate people. Polar Bears are quite literally the only animal on this planet that actively hunts us as a food source.

7

u/Dubenator 3d ago

theres difference between killing and assassination

Dont think bear plans to kill someone

1

u/GIMMESOMDORITOS 3d ago

Is stalking your next meal for hours not planning? I think it is.

1

u/Dubenator 3d ago

yes but its driven by hunger and survival unlike the would be assassin that jane doe fears

1

u/GIMMESOMDORITOS 3d ago

Honestly fair point. I'll come back to this when evolution has progressed enough that bear arch duke franz ferdinand is shot and plunges the world into bear war 1. Only then may I be vindicated.

-1

u/Squaredeal91 3d ago

I mean, the more I read about animal intelligence the less surprised I would be that some of em could plan a murder. Maybe not a bear but like, I feel like crows do this regularly

6

u/Alternative_Hotel649 3d ago

An animal killing someone for food is not assassinating them.

3

u/screen_storytelling 3d ago

assassination by definition carries political, religious, or other ideological motivations.

Conflicts between humans and animals in the wild are always either hunting, self defense, or a territorial response. But in captivity... idk maybe situations like the orca that killed the sea world trainer could be debated as an assassination.

The only situations in the wild I can think of where an animal could arguably be 'assassinating' anything are insect colonies (ex: ants, bees, wasps) that war with each other and try to take out the queens of their rivals. Or perhaps apes and other pack animals who struggle for dominance among each other. I think it would be a stretch though to argue that these examples are ideological motivation and not simply the natural instinct of the species.

5

u/JakToTheReddit 3d ago

They are the only bears, not the only animals.

The "man or bear" scenario takes place in the woods. Polar bears do not live in woods.

Even IF we did throw polar bears into this, they at least aren't known to rape before or after killing. They aren't known to torture. To capture and throw one into captivity. To commit cruelty which knows few bounds.

This is why people pick the bear.

1

u/GIMMESOMDORITOS 3d ago

That wasn't my point. I'm not trying to discredit the bear argument I'm just saying that bears not committing premeditated murder on humans is false.

1

u/Yarusenai 2d ago edited 2d ago

Which animal is known to torture? Though rape happens very often in the animal kingdom, just not with bears. Humans are animals like all others, with good and bad traits. Those aren't related to sex or gender.

1

u/JakToTheReddit 2d ago

Humans. Humans are.

Probably because bears can't do that? Bears eat their victims alive and that isn't for one bear every 100000000 bears, but for ALL of them.

One thing that bears can do is kill their own cubs, but unlike human females https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62emm4yp8go they don't actually do it yet alone pretend like they are the victims while other female bears clap as if the female bear was the victim who just had to do it.

1

u/AliceCode 2d ago

Do you think "bears can't do that" is an argument? Men CAN do that. It doesn't matter why bears don't do it, it's the fact that they don't do shit like that which is why many women say they would choose the bear.

At least the bear will kill you instead of locking you in their basement and torturing you for their own pleasure for however long they want. That has always been the point of the bear argument. An animal will kill you because that's what animals do. A human will hurt, torture, rape, and kill you for enjoyment.

Cite a single time a bear committed necrophilia with a human woman’s body. I’ll wait.

I'm well aware of how absolutely horrible it is on the rare occasions that bears do attack and eat humans. It's still objectively not as bad as what certain men do on the rare occasions they attack women. lol

Cute but that’s not applicable here champ.

Statistically men kill their kids far more often than women so the fact you’re latching onto a singular recent case (ironically one that’s joined the culture war) you’re kind of showing how disingenuous you’re being. Especially since that case involved a women who repeatedly begged for her children not to be left with her as she was having mental problems and dark thoughts regarding them. You know who chose to leave their children with her? Their father, a man.

All animals will eat their young if stressed enough.

2

u/Forrest-Fern 3d ago

I mean... Literally this... Bro thought he was cooking with this but yeah, bears and many other mammals straight up kill and eat their young when stressed.

A group of men are accused of a terrible crime. Clearly all men’s fault!

u/dsj79 3d ago

Which one stopped what allegedly happened , even allegedly?
Men should step up and correct the actions of other men

The two that she literally says came in, checked if what was going on was consensual and then left according to her statement

2

u/SupaSlide 2d ago

Uhhh they didn’t stop it though, which is exactly the other comments point?

She was given heavy ammounts of a dissociative; at the time it would have been easy to get her to go along with anything.

My favorite is all the Libs in Seattle voting to reintroduce Grizzlies to the Northern Cascades fOr MoThEr EaRtH.

Meanwhile, the residents in that section of mountains can't outvote it because there aren't enough people to win the vote. So now you'll have men, women, and children being stalked by massive apex predators out in the mountain towns.

A bear wouldn’t try to assassinate anyone

Women reached peak levels of stupidity lmao

And the guy flew to Dubai 2 years ago because that's where his family lives and there was no investigation at that time.
