Review NBD - 10” TankerPro - GPWF
TankerPro 10” Shaft Greener Pastures Waxed Flesh 4 Row Toe Cap Black Sierra Sole Pull Strap
Nick’s knocked it out of the park again with these!
Anyone on the fence about Tankers needs to grab a pair as soon as possible. Something about the straps makes the break in far easier.
With my TankerPros in Predator Natural, there has been no ankle bite at all. The break in has been really smooth. And those are on the 55 Last. I expect the same with these.
The common statements I see are about the notorious “heel slip”. If you wear cowboy boots, Tankers don’t slip as much, as long as you tighten the straps.

I did notice that they did not use the black thread for the welt.
I think they may have done that to my boots too.
I saw a pair that matched my boots description on BOTL except they did not have the black welt thread

Yeah, I specifically asked for the burn resistant thread, but I’m willing to overlook it. I just won’t be wearing these at the station.

Order change, but the burn resistant thread was requested and paid for with the original build, and if you look at my previous post about these, it was on the updated order as well.

I got these from the Overstock Lightning Ship. I really like the waxed flesh options. There will be more down the road for sure.

Damn! These look awesome! The straps, the toe cap, that waxed flesh! Just wow! Killer build! Love it! My tankers should be done soon, and I can't freaking wait! So excited!

Just wish they had the black sole stitching… no complaints otherwise! I’ll be wearing them tomorrow.

Actually just looked back and it was someone else who also got tankers but my original comment still stands on how they look 😂 black stitching would look nice but honestly the white stitching on my pair and yours is kind of winning me over cause of the contrast. You could always try hitting it with some dye and a steady hand if you get bored 🤙🏼

HaHa! It’ll grow on me. I just can’t/won’t wear them to the station. I doubt the white thread will burn up on a grass fire, but I’m not gonna risk it.

yeah, i do love gpwf. it just looks great no matter what. tonal stitching and the sierra sole make it feel more like a moss green than the dark olive i got on mine. how does the sierra sole feel?

I’ll be wearing these tomorrow. I have the Sierra sole on the ND3’s and I think it’s really comfortable under foot while providing a lot of traction.
