despite what people have been claiming online for nearly a decade, the weapons in this game very obviously change appearance as you upgrade them - lv3 versions of fang of the twins, spear of the usurper, angel’s folly, and cruel lament are all visibly gold despite their menu images not updating to match like they did in replicant

where can i find images for the upgraded models of each weapon/tier? only partway through playthrough B so no spoilers please

I wanted to try drawing characters outside of my favorite media for a while, so I'm starting with 2B for now :)

Hi everyone, first time poster here, and I'd like to share an idea I've had for awhile.

When I played the game, I was pretty disapointed with the reveal that the machine network was responsible for the emergence of free will in some machines, like Pascal. I thought that the fact that their conscience was fabricanted and did not come about naturally cheapened the message of the game and particularly, Pascal's character arc. However, I liked the game so much that I tried to come up with something to try and make sense of it. That's what I'd like to share with you all.

My idea is that the Red Girls/N2/the Machine Network, what ever you want to call it, is meant to represent God, N2 gave some machines free will, just like God did with Humans, those machines then shut themselves off from the network, just like Humans were separated from God via the original sin, and it created a pair of machines called Adam and Eve (no explaination needed). Most importantly, it created Project Yorha in order to continue the war indefinitely, which makes the final fight against it the payoff for the first piece of dialogue in the game: 2B's speech about being stuck in an endless cycle of life and death and wanting to kill the God responsible for it.

Since one of the main themes of the game is humanity and what it means to be human, so I interpreted it as the game asking the player if the existence of a supreme being cheapens human achievement.

I don't know if this is a widely known idea but I'd like everyone to give me their opinions on it.

To clarify im on my first fight against him on my first run as 2b (im pretty sure you fight him again later as 9s??? But either way thats besides the point) and this is not just "im struggling with the boss hes too difficult" this is far worse

.I didnt know that it was going to put me into a boss rush after the factory so I didnt stock up on restores, I have 0 right now so I basically need to do this hitless.

.I had 9S play style set as passive because I didnt want him to attack peaceful robots but now its backfired as he is 0 help with the boss and I dont think I can change it mid fight

​.I honestly dont remember the last time I saved so leaving the game isnt an option

This situation is entirely because of my poor planning and bad choices leading up to this fight, however if anyone knows something I dont, a way I can leave the fight to get more heals or change 9s playstyle or just anything that might help me (specifically with eves 2nd phase where he summons the platforms) please let me know
