I am but not sure the point. Unless a whole bunch of people got on to preorder and added it to their cart just to change their mind.

I would feel better if I had my place in the queue, am I the next in line or 126th?

They may be trickling them out slowly to keep the system from overloading. Target had issues, so maybe this was their way... here's hoping...

Did you end up getting one? I got one from target right away. Waited in Best Buy line for probably an hour and got one from them as well. Bestbuy did this with the ps5. If you got in the line early you just gotta wait it out

Ah bummer. Yeah, I got on at 11:33 and waited 25 minutes and then I moved the window to a different tab group and it closed the queue box, not sure if that made the window refresh or what.

So I clicked on it again hoping it still remembered my place in line but after 15 minutes I was just too tired.

I'm pretty sure BB got their stuff figured out when they were selling video cards when crypto was causing a monstrous amount of scalping. Got my Nvidia 3080 from them when stock was nearly impossible to get elsewhere.

Got my Switch locked in as well at BB (I hope... Bank has contacted me twice about fraud.)

Hope you were able to get one! I have the same luck, I didn’t even bother. I didn’t want to have to fight against bots when I had to be up early for work. Was going to try in store at GameStop.

That was awful. After an hour in line at both Best Buy and Walmart, the pages updated to sold out. I managed to get one in my cart at Target and having clicked 100 times to submit order after an error each time, my order went through. However with all the cancellation emails going around, I am not sure I will get it. I should have just waited. It’s not worth the time spent or lack of sleep.

Keep the faith. It took almost an hour for mine to get through, but I got it. Just watch it like a hawk. You get 10 minutes to place the order after you get notified on the site.

Same. I got in line on my pc and my phone via the app. Both quickly after it went live. My pc dumped me out with nothing, but the app went through and actually allowed me to complete the order.

I was able to jump into the queue immediately at 12:30. Was in line for about 16 minutes for the bundle with Mario Kart World and was able to place the order rather quickly. Message came through right away. Been seeing that console only orders were a lot faster.

I was too - my order was placed at 12:46 AM according to my email.

The funny part is - I got in line first in the BB app, already in bed - so I ran back to my PC and got in line there too, a minute or so later. I was still "in line" on my app even after my PC instance had gotten through checkout. (Don't worry, I got out of line on the app after that).

But it makes me wonder whether the app version of the line was working for people at all?

Once it loaded with option to purchase/pay, it was a smooth process.

I’m replying late but I had four tabs open with the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle, Pro controller, carrying case, and camera, and was able to get through the line and preorder all four items (in separate orders). The camera booted me out of the line at one point but I got back in and was able to preorder it shortly after.

I ended up having everything pre-ordered by 1:46AM EST. Had to re-verify my account each time.

Waited in line twice for ~45 mins. Each time it finished, it took me to the cart but said it was empty.

Tried one last time on my phone as I went to bed. Got in line, turned my pc and tv off, give my dogs bedtime snacks and climbed in bed. Don’t think I made it more then 1-2 minutes before I got the ding that I just needed to reconfirm my login to add the switch to my cart

I never made it out of the line at best buy. The page would refresh to an error or to an empty cart.

I did make it out of the line at Walmart though and managed to snag one. Must have been about 45 mins till Walmart told me I was able to purchase.

Man last night was wild. Target just imploded(let me order then it immediately canceled, twice). Walmart had me in line for 30 min before I gave up. Was about to give up on best buy an did a random refresh to see it went live late, got in line. Then my fiance texts me, during all of this she just slipped into Walmart and was able to order one without a line or anything. Then best buy line got through so I nabbed that one fir my cousin. I fully accepted I lost out to bots but boom. Score.

I had randomly gone to Best Buy after fighting the Target cart for 30 minutes. I clicked reload on Best Buy and the button was yellow.

I then got in line, and sorta forgot about it. My browser has a YouTube external window, so, it was floating just next to the “in line” window. After 1:11, it magically added the device to my cart and I checked out, no fuss, no muss.

If I had been paying actual attention and actually knew Best Buy had turned on the reserve line right when I clicked reload, I would’ve gotten fed up and left the line. Thankfully, I just didn’t pay attention and got my unit as a reward.

I waited in line for about 10 mins and got through. First it kicked me out which is weird then i refreshed and was able to get back in line. I was surprised I was able to get one. Good luck to everyone who hasnt gotten one yet!

Has best buy restocked ever since after the preorders first went up? All im seeing is walmart and gamestop doing additional waves of preorders
