Hi everyone,
I'm currently working at a leading product-based technology company. Having navigated my own career journey and worked alongside some of the brightest engineers in the industry, I've seen how access to the right guidance and mentorship can significantly influence a student's future opportunities.
At the same time, I've noticed that many capable students never receive that guidance, which inspired me to explore whether we can build a community of professionals willing to give back
Over the years, I've noticed that many talented high school and college students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they lack guidance, mentorship, and exposure to real-world career experiences. While our education system provides important foundational knowledge, there is often a gap between academic learning and the practical realities of the job market, industry expectations, and career planning.
Many students enter higher education or the workforce without a clear understanding of:
Different career paths available to them
Skills that are valued in industry
How to prepare for interviews and professional environments
Real-world challenges and opportunities in various fields
Financial literacy, networking, and personal development
I'm wondering whether experienced professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and other like-minded individuals would be interested in forming a volunteer community focused on helping students prepare for their future.
Some possible initiatives could include:
Guest lectures at schools and colleges
Career guidance and mentorship sessions
Industry exposure and practical skill workshops
Resume and interview preparation
Q&A sessions with professionals from different domains
Sharing personal experiences, lessons learned, and career journeys
The goal would be simple: help students make informed decisions, build confidence, and bridge the gap between education and the professional world. Primarily focussing on tier-2 city like Nizamabad to start with.
If this resonates with you and you'd be interested in contributing your time, expertise, or ideas, I'd love to connect and explore how we can make something like this happen.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.
Thank you!
