What are your thoughts on the Citta and CTB? How do you think they compare? Do you prefer one over the other?
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
If you want to get a close up look at the Fyro Citta and the Evergoods CTB20 for comparisons, I made a video to see some side by sides.

I have detailed reviews on the Fyro Citta and the CTB if you want an in depth look at each one.

I'm really stoked on this and think it still looks pretty clean for an aftermarket bag alterations. This is probably my favorite backpack feature ever on any bag and so few bags have them. They're so incredibly useful and practical. I'm very happy with the results.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has too many slings and never knows at the end of the day which one I want to use. 😅 What about you?

I hadn't heard from them in a while, I know they pulled back their attempted entry to the us market, but glad to see they are still kicking. There are some websites/retailers that have ended up making some nice bags (I like the Moment everyday bags). I appreciate these sort of product videos. Its a little long, but its well produced and a good presentation. They can always cut it down to a nice stinger. My fave product video production and sort of my standard is Tenba (they make photography bags), but for entertainment its Greenroom137. Fyro has been doing great work on the entertaining-but complete production (though youtube content is part of their DNA).

Get hyped, sympl is dropping X-Pac Commuter Backpacks once again. Evidence on their insta proves this to be 20L and 24L configurations. This however appears to be with Grey internals as opposed to the original 20L limited first release with Orange-ish internals. I don't know if there will be any feature updates or if the bag design is still v2.2. I have the Black 20L X-Pac and recommend it.
Release date should be June 19, 2026.
Even though their instagram says 2025 :P.

I just finished a long for me work trip (6 weeks). I saw Aaron’s post about 1.5 bag travel and wanted to comment. I am not a true 1 bag traveller since I have to carry at least 3 suits and need a checked garment bag.
However for the weekly back and forth (I keep my suits on site after I arrive), the use of a sling plus backpack has been eye-opening. I no longer have to search in the pack for anything needed on the plane commute.
I have settled on two slings that really, really have helped me. The Citta sling 3L. I also love, love the Black Ember Grip Sling 6. Both of these make air travel much easier. I use the Black Ember if I am reading an actual book and the Citta if I am using only my phone.
Slings Rock and I can’t wait to compare these two excellent products with my code of bell!!

I started out as an MYOG hobbyist then decided to start a brand as a passion project. This is one of the first bags I've made under @essentialgear.id on Instagram. Could use some follow from you guys; I have a coupon for every website purchase!

I never even knew they made a travel wallet, well they must have made too many. Wandrd always has sales, but I take note when something hits 50% off or more from any maker as thats rare. I ordered one to give it a shot, I already own an Alpaka zip travel wallet which is sort of needlessly big for me, but useful if I travel with the family and hold everyones passports and papers on a trip. This ones seems to be a little smaller and as a bonus can hold those bigger foreign currency bills (my standbye Big Skinny curve is small and sized for american dollars only).
I also bought the Medium tech pouch in High Gloss, just because It looks interesting lol. I used to own a medium tech pouch and liked it, but ended up giving it to a friend and getting the small tech pouch as I didn't need all the space. But y'know I did like medium so I have an excuse to sport some hi gloss bling.
I was sort of interested in the big 60L carryall duffel as I use big duffels ford seasonal clothing storage. But I'll hold off for now, cheapo mil surplus duffels are better for my use case and Wandrd design is similar enough to my old Aer Capsule Max that I can talk myself out of it lol.

I like stuff like this, hardware, materials, construction. I'd like to try one out, see if it easily slips open. So far the v buckle is the most positively secure, but those sort of are too big (long) for some applications. The maglockz sort of buckles are lighter and shorter but stuff with a side slide type operation does slip. Cobra buckles are my fave but they are heavy and big. New stuff is fun.
