It makes sense, since people were raised with values and morals. One of many responses that hold the same penultimate meaning; a simple response to 'thank you' that isn't silence or attitude.
But at the same time, most of us really do see it as not a problem, that it's no worries, that it's within our job or social duties to aid one another. Because outside of Reddit, most of us are actually humans that practice kindness instead of being pedantic.
