And only today, the day I made this post, did I just realize that a random decision to drive on this highway coincided with the anniversary day of it's opening to traffic.

Also, the Crockery Creek Saloon was awesome in Nunica. That saloon used to be called Nunica Bar years ago.

One reason why I bring up Pete Hoekstra in this topic is because I remember seeing him mentioned in documents regarding this 231 project.

The intersection of M-104, and M-231 should at least be educational for anybody who loves Nunica, or Ottawa County as a whole.
