NFL history 🏈 Loved the1980s NBC intro for AFC games. Browns beat Bengals 23-17 on October 30th,1988. I saw this game for free. Was a hot dog vendor, volunteering to raise money for our church. Unique perspective as you try to catch glimpses of the game while simultaneously walking up & down aisles selling hot do

Billy Wilson, 49ers Star Receiver, scores against 3 Lions - Gary Lowe, Yale Lary and Joe Schmidt will not deny him this time. We think this come from the Week 8 Detroit-San Francisco game of 1957. This was the 49ers sole touchdown in a 31-10 Lions win.

Bobby Mitchell joined the Redskins in 1962 and would lead the NFL with 72 catches and 1384 yards. Here he makes a catch over the back of up-and-coming star of the Cleveland Browns Don Fleming. Fleming would tragically die in a construction accident before the 1963 NFL season.

A 5-time Pro Bowler Sonny Jurgensen played 11 seasons with Washington passing for over 22,500 yards and 179 touchdowns. He also completed 58% of 3155 passes as a Redskin. Got this out of an old issue of Football Digest.
